Why bother?? All the translations say the same thing, and the Holy Spirit is ever present to give wisdom.
The whole thing is just another meaningless "Tempest in a teapot".

Bob doesn't believe mistakes should be dealt with.
He very wrongly says that all "Bibles" say the same thing and that the "Holy Spirit" can correct an issue even if you believe a lie your "Bible" tells you...
Every thing Bob says is a "walking" contradiction.
Bob is witness to the fact that what he says is not true. He has believed many lies over the years and the "Holy Spirit" hasn't fixed him yet. He just keeps preaching the same mistakes over and over again.
Don't be like Bob....

How about the "mistakes" in the KJV????? What are YOU doing to correct them??
And the Holy SPirit WILL correct "Theological issues" if you approach Him singlemindedly.
Chuckle!!!! "Sanctification" is both immediate, AND Progressive. When I was Born AGain (in 1963) I was cleansed and made perfect before God. However, there's also LIFE to contend with, and Romans 8:28,29 covers THAT part of the process.

Bob is right in what he says and you are wrong.
a) The KJV has errors; it is a man-made product ordered by an egomaniacal king.
b) "Charismatics" can and do "speak [in] the tongues of angels". I do so daily.
c) Bob never said that he believes he is gifted ABOVE his fellow man.

All Bibles do "basically say the same thing". The differences are insignificant; they appeal to different readers;
The "Holy Spirit" can correct an issue. John 16:13a, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth." He has come and does guide us into all truth.
You can clearly apply this charge to yourself: You have believed many lies over the years and the "Holy Spirit" hasn't fixed you yet. You just keep preaching the same mistakes over and over again.

c. Charismatics are always present themselves as superior Christians. You tell others that they should be just like you. You are wrong.
Nonsense. Jesus isn't in Hebrews 4. Ruler isn't found in Hebrews 13. These two mistakes along greatly impact what is taught to others.
Sure the Spirit of God does. However, you don't listen. Bob doesn't listen. I don't listen. We all have the issue. Saying the Spirit overrides our rebellious hearts is ridiculous when we continually prove otherwise. You included.
I believe that I am more accepting of my issues than most others. In fact, that is what I've been saying to you and him both and you're the one's resisting. Not me.

Someone mockingly stated that KJVO’s quote the KJV and have to resort to explaining words like “concupiscence” in words found in modern translations.
Well that’s because people aren’t educated well these days…

Funny that for all the hooping and hollering over the supposed “errors” in the KJV that an accurate rendering in the KJV gets criticized:
“Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;” (Acts 7:44-45)
“Jesus” in this verse in the revered original language is Ἰησοῦς which is JESUS!

Here is a far more accurate translation of Acts 7:44-45, "Our ancestors had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, just as God who spoke to Moses ordered him to make it according to the design he had seen. Our ancestors received possession of it and brought it in with Joshua when they dispossessed the nations that God drove out before our ancestors, until the time of David."
Joshua 1:1-3, "After Moses the Lord’s servant died, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant: “Moses my servant is dead. Get ready! Cross the Jordan River. Lead these people into the land that I am ready to hand over to them. I am handing over to you every place you set foot, as I promised Moses.
Joshua was the leader who dispossessed the nations. Why are you distorting what God's word clearly says about Israel's history?
