I will go with European. But founding a territory is not a discovery of a continent. No one is disputing that the Europeans came to a known continent and established settlements. The American Revolutionary War was fought by Europeans....Europeans fought against Europeans....who else the Eskimos? But the United States was established by the victors of the war. That is not really the debate. Again you cannot discover or founded a continent that is occupied. You can explore for the Queen. You can arbitrarily claim it for Queen, but the Indians did not agree with that.

In this era Christian Countries conquered less developed areas of the world....the British empire extend to America and Africa and India. This was one of the things that God taught us was wrong...along with slavery and much more.

By your estimation I could see how you believed that. But to say they were Pagan would be accurate. That does not mean they were not living here with their own societies and culture.....North and South America were occupied and you cannot discover something that is known....you can discover for yourself....you can say you discovered something for a country...the Queen. But in this case the continient was known to exist, they just came here. By the time the English came here others had already been here. No discovery.

In a smaller sense you can say that someone discovered a previously unknown cave.

I am not talking about who discovered America. The first colony was founded at Jamestown, Virginia, in 1607, by the English. From this settlement the USA was formed, and came under the British King or Queen. It was the English Puritans who brought true Christianity to America.

The issue with guns, isnt about guns at all. The left want to ban guns because they have no idea how to deal with the real problem, evil people. They want the shootings to stop, but cant accept that they are the reason for the shootings. Gun violence wasnt an issue when i was growing up, we handled problems with our fists, noone died. But today, these kids rely on guns. Why? Because these kids are evil. How do you stop evil? We’ve been dealing with that since cain and abel.

at this point you cant stop mass shootings. And in case you didnt know, rights are absolute, unless your govt is tyrannical, so guns cant be banned. Until we can read peoples thoughts, how can we stop mass shootings?

I explained the number 13.
1776 was the year that the 13 colonies declared independence from England. The last battle of the war was at Yorktown and the French came to the aid of the Americans. On October 19, 1781, British General Charles Cornwallis surrendered his army of some 8,000 men to General George Washington at Yorktown, giving up any chance of winning the Revolutionary War.

The Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783....but that did not end hostility between the United States and England...the war of 1812 which ultimately lead to the sinking of nearly 90 percent of the British Navy.
