Being a bit mischevous. What names did Jesus give to religious people who did not practice what they preached/demanded of others? Much, much worse than Johann has stated

Are you claiming Johann was name calling for people not practicing what they preach? Why try to compare things that do not compare?
Johann was name calling because others disagreed with him and told you flat out he was wasting his time.

And lets not forget this below:

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

Ephesians 2
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

You put the emphases in the wrong places.

Romans 5:10, "For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!"

Ephesians 2:1-9, "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. [it doesn't end here!] But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved!— and he raised us up together with him and seated us together with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are his creative work, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we can do them."

Your selection of Scripture clearly shows your self-righteous, condemnatory attitude! How can you distort what The Bible says to such a degree??? What is the matter with you???

Calling a spade a spade, Jesus tone was and is more vehement than mine hence the softening of His tone in many translations.
J.

Spade A spade is your opinion. I disagree with you. You disagree with me... Does that make you a waste of my time, a hypocrite, a spade also?

See the problem here?
On another note, I posted a video clip of RC Sproul and John Mac on the sin nature since we have many sinless perfectionists here on this platform and guess what?
They, two members I will not mention, turned like a pack of wolves on RC and Mac.
Truth is not to be found on this platform, that I can tell you, since there are many, many diverse denominations and their spokesmen are not inspired.
What we have is a sugar-coated, watered down gospel catering to all religions on this platform, making Jesus said what He never said.
Am I coming on too strong for you?
J.

I don’t know RC Sproul or John Mac, so can’t speak to what they teach, and don’t get the point of “quoting” outside of Scripture in a Spiritual discussion.

I’m pretty straight forward. If I can not verify it in Scripture, I don’t give it much weight.

Jesus is not the only TARGET. People say and apply to others many things the others DO NOT say.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John
OP ^

Yes, 1 John has a verse about men who SAY THEY ARE WITHOUT Sin.

How is this topic relevant, unless someone HAS SAID, they ARE WITHOUT SIN?

If anyone has SAID, they ARE WITHOUT SIN....QUOTE THEM.

@Taken Ties in with John 14.15: "If ye love Me, keep my commandments".......

We have ONE JUDGE . GOD . AND SINCE ALL JUDGMENT has been comitted unto the SON .
I suggest we learn the JESUS of the bible .
Cause i am seeing other versions of jesus getting taught all over christendom .
JESUS came to save the world , BUT KNOW THIS , HIS WORDS shall be our judge at the end .
SO the next time someone wants to cry and hug and embrace a false all inclusive religoin ,
believing that GOD has somehow made the road to GOD broad , and is now in the business
of allowing all false religoins entrance through love , WELL I SUGGEST WE ALSO LEARN LOVE .
THE BIBLCAL VERSION . CHARITY dont rejoice in a lie , ONLY IN THE TRUTH .
THUS if any love is getting preached that allows other religoins access to GOD and to salvation
MY ADVICE IS FLEE IT , no matter how good it makes ya feel . CAUSE ITS A LIE and one FROM the serpent
the dragon , the father of lies , that ol devil called the dragon . FOLKS DONT REALIZE
we in the age of the great delusion that has made the way to GOD very broad and uses the concept of a love
that DENIES GOD , THE SON , the LOVE OF GOD . FLEE THEM FALSE UNITY CHURCHES and do so while there still be time .

@Christophany Shows what a glorious transition in believers that has been wrought by the word of Christ, indeed....

Uh huh...
Yes, it was in the city of Antioch that disciples were first called Christians.....BY WHOM?

Please given the VERSE of one Disciple, one man, CALLING HIMSELF, a Christian.

Which of the disciples called THEMSELVES Christians?

You are presuming, what one CALLS an other is sufficient.
As you were presuming, that YOU could call me having an “issue with saved by grace”.

The Disciples themselves never CALLED themselves Christians.
I myself never SAID I have an issue with saved by grace.

It is ONE dictating a presumption as a fact, upon an other, who has themselves not SAID that.
@Taken There seems to have been a really warm spirit among the believers at Antioch...

You do know lust breaks the tenth commandment don't you? I must be far more sensitive to sin than you are, for you can sin without conscience can't you. That normally speaks of a hardened heart

You do as you admit, but I stopped decades ago, and my heart melted long ago as God prophesied to me on day one that it would. I've told you that but you act just like the devil and keep up the accusations. If you considered me a sister in Christ you wouldn't do that nonsense, but your fruit is bad, so I guess you are not my brother as your abuse declares loud and clear.

sbg, I hear God's voice and I can ask him questions and He immediately answers. That is how my personal relationship with Him has been established. With Enoch, God walked with him. With me, He tells me mysteries when I ask the questions He places in my heart to ask, and those mysteries are what my books are about.

That whole part of my life was one of those mysteries that I only thought about recently, and as I have already told you, when I asked Him about it, He said "because it was unintentional." Something I learned today as I prayed on the way home from church was about our conscience. It is our heart, but are all His laws written there and known day one? God clarified that it is born again of the Spirit, but on day one the fruit of the Spirit are planted, and still have to grow to maturity. Immature fruit causes those sins, but God prunes those branches to produce more fruit. But limbs that don't bear fruit at all and are nasty and full of bugs He lops off. Beware.

Our spirit is also born again and full of righteousness. We cannot rebel against God. So my sin was an immature fruit of the Spirit. But it was not in rebellion against God. In other words, it was not a sin of lawlessness which have already been dead from day one.

I hope you take the warning God has give you through me.

God bless,
1stCL

@Taken R C Sproul (deceased) and John MacArthur (very much alive) are reckoned to be basically sound preachers of the Word.

You are right of course that it's the Word itself that must be the final reference point...

I am inclined to start with the source...Lord God Almighty.

Again, the Bible teaches you cannot worship false gods and be saved.

JW's don't as far as I know. They worship the Father as the One God. They are not like the RCC and Orthodox who worship Mary, but say they don't. Jesus calls that idol of theirs, Jezebel. Rev. 2
