How can anyone tell anybody anything if they claim to already know? and how can the awareness of feigned ignorance not be in the forefront of consciousness?

It can be difficult to pick up on them sir. The second is actually found in verse 4, not making images for gods.

But, taking it word for word, it just says we aren't to make images of anything. We do it all the time with TV, photographs, etc.:

"... or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth"

I've never understood that.

The key is found in the religious significance Bob. A great example that is used to a great deal today is the cross, many wear them to signify they are a Christian, many churches display them, some hold them when praying. Heck I didnt even realize that I was guilty of violating that by displaying a JW.org tie clasp, a householder asked me about a cross, and I explained it, then he asked me the difference between the tie clasp and the cross, I realized he was correct and no longer wore a religious symbol. Do you see the correlation as well?

The main reason God does not want images is He is invisible, and nothing we can create can represent Him. That was one of the biggest reason He was disappointed when His people asked Him for a visible King to sit on His throne to govern them, when through His prophets He was doing a very good job in providing for His nation.

As you already know because you don't post anything here unless you are wanting to let us know what you know, what is the point of the question apart from the obvious of regaling us with your catholic mumbo jumbo?

And shouldn't you in all honesty change your name to thee catholic faith?

in context or content the first would be verses 2-6 and the second would be verse 7

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

I am an artist and have a vision in my head of an awesome painting with Jesus and demons. Is it a sin to paint this image? I have no idea...

how do you know that’s the second commandment?

the context or content of vs 2-6 is the same and therefore the first commandment

Verse 7 would be the second?

Can anyone please tell me what is the second commandment

It basically means don't make and worship statues to non-existent "gods", even God himself pokes fun at them..:)-
"Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak;
they must be carried because they cannot walk.
Do not fear them; they can do no harm
nor can they do any good.” (Jeremiah 10:3-5 NIV)

Jewish monotheism is Christian monotheism.

What Jewish monotheism isn’t is trinitarian monotheism.

that’s not logical

theism is how many God’s are there

trinity is how many persons are there

There can’t be a trinitarian monotheism, that would be three monotheisms? I think?

Both have only one God!
One has one person!
The other has three persons!

Now I have a headache!

The trinity is a mystery!

Monotheism = one God.

trinity is how many persons are there

Jewish monotheism - one person, the Father.

The earliest Christians were Jewish monotheists. Like Jesus himself, their God is the Father and none other.

There can’t be a trinitarian monotheism, that would be three monotheisms? I think?

I wish that there weren’t such a thing as trinitarian monotheism but there is.

Both have only one God!

That’s right.

One has one person!

That would be Jewish monotheism.

The other has three persons!

That would be trinitarian monotheism.

Now I have a headache!

If you haven’t already, you should take something for it.

The trinity is a mystery!

The Trinity isn’t the Messiah’s God.
