Just but one example of why it is needed sir. No doubt the differences in our understanding has came from our choice of Version we have selected. Since you know that knowing God is a requirement for life, then it doesn't really matter as it was your choice, now you have to live or die for your choice, that is if you are still alive upon Jesus' return.

I think you can see why you are unaware of his being created Ron, how many times now have you refused to look into the Scriptures to find out? Since the Bible states very clearly he was the beginning of the creation of God, and that he was in fact begotten, then I frankly do not question it. Who authored the Bible Ron? Who was it written for? That may help considerably in understanding why there are so many Versions out there sir.

God is the ultimate author. If I remember correctly 42 men were inspired to write down His words. The Bible is for the whole world. First to the people of God to learn how to grow and then for the world to read teh testimony of God.

Yes sir I have to agree, not only the Watchtower, but all of our publications are far from being absolute truth for sure. As God reveals His truths, we print them. Heck it wasn't all that long ago we were still celebrating Christmas, as if it was Jesus' birthday. We actually realize that until satan and those who follow him is erradicated, then there will not be such a thing as absolute truth for all things.

Well as they declare they are gods prophet, prophet like organization and Gods sole channel of communication on earth, your admission of their error is refreshing and should be a warning to you.

Todays Watchtower would have disfellowshipped the old watchtower for not only celebrating Christmas, but advertising Watchtower material as gifts! God said that is a prophet says something that is not true- you arew to ignore them.

Also, the Watchtower loves to excuse their errors by saying the light is getting brighter all the time!

Well Jesus had this to say if the new light is very different than the old:

And in case you didn't know--God has already revealed His truth! It is called the bible. You make the Watchtower to be equal to the Bible. But that is not surprising, for the Watchtower says you can abandon bible reading, just read their materials and be fully in the light! How despicable of any organization to say that!

That is why A. kneeland translated the NT in 1822, comparing Greek and English side by side to prove to the world-a god belongs in the last line at John 1:1--using Greek Lexicons translated by Catholicism as all translations were, yet 19 other translations as well had-a god in the last line, 3 had and was divine or divine like. Rejected by every trinity clergy because that fact exposes them as false religion.

I agree with you Ron, God is the author. Quite possibly you are correct about the 42 men who penned it as well, I do not know the exact number, but was aware it was over 40.

I do agree that all people benefit from the Bible, however those "42" men were God's servants, and they penned those words for God's people, but I do not disagree with your last statement either, for the world to read the testimony of God. Keep in mind however, that Jesus sent forth his disciples to spread the good news of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth, not the Bible sir. Mat 28:19,20; 24:14. They use the Bible to instruct them however.

Keep in mind Ron, we are only prophets in the sense of spreading understanding of what is already written. Like all faiths we are uninspired, and only reveal things to the world that is revealed to us. Do we have absolute truth? No! And as I have asked you many times, if you can direct me to who does then I will certainly go there. However, since Jesus stated very clearly that a faithful slave would feed his sheep during the last days, I believe him sir. To me it is a no brainer. Now obviously you believe that the faithful slave is not who I think it is, so perhaps you could direct me to who you think it is. Clearly considering the stream of time, the slave should be easily identified, correct? Surely you do not think that God would feed His people through this slave, without His people being able to identify it, do you?

I don't. I do emphasize words with caps to get him to look a little closer. But he gets to me in that my heart breaks. Most Jw's I met remind me of what Paul said of the Jews: that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
