We are told by Jesus if we do His/God's will we are His brothers and sisters. Not even bringing to attention the Armenian vs Calvinists doctrines and their debates, but either way won't His will be done no matter what?

Agreed: God will bring about all He intends. Those who embrace Him as guide and mentor (see the two great Commandments) will surely aid His purposes, but He also has used/will use those who intend evil. He will always prevail.

For examples, Genesis 45 and the Book of Esther.

Blessings.

Gods will is not always done. God does not desire the mayhem prevalent on this planet. God does not desire the murderous and exploitive designs of men.
God's will however, will be done in the Earth made new as described in the later chapters of the book of Revelation. It is what Jesus taught us to pray for, 'thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven'. It is also the Good News going to the four corners of Earth in the face of opposition.
At present Earth is in the grip of Evil. This will change.

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

All things work together to the good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes.

God knows all, sees all, and from a non linear perspective. Being that He is also all powerful, His ultimate will cannot be frustrated. His personal and persistent will for myself, can't speak for anyone else, would seem to be frustrated almost continually at times, and blessedly far less so at others.

God is eternal, the life He has placed within us is eternal. If we walk in the Spirit, which for me would naturally suggest that I try to live in a way which does not grieve the Spirit. Then this is performing His will. This is eternal life. Being in the Spirit and in the moment. Sounds simple enough. I pray that we all find much success in doing so. I'm still very much a work in progress.

Is allowing these negative issues to happen His will?

Love is vulnerable. Vulnerable to exploitation. Loving does not mean one gets their own way every time.

God has been misrepresented....from the outset by Lucifer. Lucifer has pushed and pushed and pushed with the angels, with mankind till eventually killing Jesus by the hands of wicked men.
REAL character is seen/ established when boundaries are pushed to the limit......both of evil and good
Lucifers heart was/ is unquestionably revealed in his willingness and delivery of murdering the Creator
God's heart was/ is unquestionably revealed when willingly Jesus laid down his life and continues with long-suffering to reveal it.

When theologians talk about "God's will", there are two types:
  • God's Decretive Will = God’s Plan.
  • God's Preceptive Will = God’s desires.
God's Decretive Will cannot be thwarted. God's Preceptive Will may or may not have dependencies on the free-will actions of His created beings.

It is a hard concept for us from our perspective of living out our lives, but this is not real-time with God as it seems to be with us, it's more of an instant replay.

When the scriptures refer to things like the Lamb slain "before the foundation of the world" (before the world was), and prophesying what shall be, it's just a sneak-peek at what was that is only now being revealed...like the pages of a book that was written and only now read. When God created man in His own image--this is the image--an act by act image of all that was. And...the presenting of the evidence before the Judgement.

What does all that mean with regard to your question? It means we are all doing what we already did, and are last to know; and we could no more or less than we already did. And yet God has allowed for an exception--a rewrite, if you will. Will you? Will anyone? God said "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). "Land" in this passage is better understood as "way"--I will heal their way--the way it is written. And His "face"--is Jesus.

I agree 100 percent. Was Jesus talking about the Decretive will when talking about us being His brothers and sisters?

You're referring to Matthew 12:48-50, right?

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

I would say, no, Jesus is talking about God's Preceptive Will here. First of all, the Greek word used is thelema, which carries the nuance of God's wishes. There is another word, boulema, which is carries the meaning of God's deliberate determination or resolute decree. Second reason, it depends on human action, doing what God wants done, which is indicative of God's Preceptive Will.

A Calvinist would read it differently, something more like, whoever does what God wants is revealed to be part of God's plan, God's Decretive Will. But, you said up front you didn't want to bring Calvinism/Arminianism into the discussion, so pretend I didn't say that.

It is not Gods will than anyone should perish. so since not everyone will be saved. Not everything he wills will get fulfilled..

but we can not hinder Gods will outside of this. If we do not do something he will get someone else to do it.
