Job Said It Best = Job 27;8, 16-17

Job 27;8, 16-17

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when GOD taketh away his soul?

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

Job 8:13-15

So are the paths of all that forget GOD; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

Job 15:34-35

For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.

Job 20:4-9

Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds; Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he? He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night. The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

Job 36;5, 9-14

Behold, GOD is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Then He sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when He bindeth them. They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

I am not much for hypocrites either maam. No doubt we have all dealt with them. I once had a Bible student who tried to pull me away from my faith, claiming those of the nation of Israel were God's people, but strangely enough, he didn't go there. Hypocrisy comes in many forms, and I must usually accept and respect people who try to live their beliefs, but have great disgust for those who tell me how I should live, and don't do it themselves. Kinda like your parents who say do as I say, not as I do.

Hmmm ... Isn't that what you do? try to pull people away from their faith to join yours, because you have the true faith and theirs is not?
(Matthew 7:13-14) 13 “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

(Ephesians 4:5) . . .one faith. . .

(Acts 9:2) . . .who belonged to The Way,. . .

(Matthew 28:19-20) 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU.. . .

Yes, I would guess all those who profess to be Christian would agree with you. that there is "one faith" The question then is WHEN the destruction?

Tell me Robert, what is the purpose of the preaching work?

The question then is WHEN the destruction?
Mr 13:32 But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Tell me Robert, what is the purpose of the preaching work?
