It's going to be summer soon and I just wanted to echo some things I learned from the doctors and internet regarding hydrating, especially during hot spells. You can drink small amounts of water, just remember to get your salt along with it. When we sweat we lose sodium from our bodies. Drinking too much water will flush the electrolytes from your body which can be trouble.

I like to drink PowerADE which is the cheaper Gatoraid. It already has the electrolytes in it.

It was reported that older people are more susceptible to succumbing to heat injuries especially if they have no air conditioning.

Cheers!

My favorite is the sugar free PowerADE:

Thanks for that @devin553344 - maybe eating salty foods like salted peanuts or ready salted crisps and drinking water would do it? How hot does it get in your area?

It got 110F 43C two years ago. I ended up in the walk in clinic from dehydration. Learned some things then.

When I was in the military in California they used to make us eat salt packs daily. People would pass out from the heat and one Marine died.

The hot season requires us to consume a lot of water. It can be from two to four liters. However, it is worth remembering that our health httрs://www.world-today-news.com/pros-cons-of-self-esteem/ also depends on self-esteem. This is how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you. This is worth remembering if you want to be successful

The trick is to hydrate all week. Watch the color of your urine. When you stop find shade and sit until you stop sweating. If you are still dripping .....sit and wait .....dry is best ....

My younger brother died due to heat stroke ....

If you had read my post, what I said was that there may have been other underlying cause as well. Heat stroke may have been the final straw and I am not denying that at all.
