More big time projecting! You have the biggest ego in these forums (aside from who I might have put on ignore).

Your ego is so big, you consistently correct God!! He meant to put "light" in Ephesians 6. Just an oversight that you are more than capable of correcting. Then, when called out on it, rather than humbly admit your mistake, you double down.

Not very inspiring to those who are reading and considering following Christ.
It is precisely your religious ego that is in the way of looking beyond what is above and beyond your own personal experience. Of course you will turn that on me.

The evangelical church has been watering down the entrance requirement into the church for generations now...to the point where there is no more spiritual understanding whatsoever. Sure, this has gotten more people in the pews...to give a false impression of success in ministry .....AND a lot of temporal financial gain. The loudest voices get the most listens.

But your teachers have led you astray...and now you are defending your own indoctrination.

The carnal mind is the seat of the ego. You will defend that ego with all you have...rather than surrender to God with all you have to get an actual walk IN Christ.

That is the challenge of the gospel and the race of faith. It takes faith to forsake your man-made religion that makes false conclusions to the rich and spoiled ones whose egos are at stake.

Where do you find the name of Jesus in Isaiah 53 O unbelieving one?

Isaiah is speaking prophetically about the pre-incarnate Word, not yet named Jesus..... so, any real believer can see that this is "God manifested in the Flesh", Emmanuel, who is "God with us", who is John 1:10 and Colossians 1:16,.. the "Savior of the world", virgin born.

This "Bread come down from Heaven" = JESUS = who told the Pharisees...>"I AM from ABOVE, and you are from below"... Is obviously Whom Isaiah is prophesying about, in "I-53".
Any 6 yr old Sunday School student would know this, obviously.

The Name of Jesus is "above every name" so, that's conclusive to anyone who actually believes and is born again.

Even a 6 year old would understand what a "walk in the light" is unless brainwashed into an "adult" carnal religious scheme that has thrown out the miraculous walk IN Christ...for something more attainable by the human mind on a philosophical level.

You need the faith and honesty of a child to NOT interpret the life out the scriptures.

So all this ego I am pointing out...that gets the egos in people in a big snit... is the cynicism and unbelief of defeated believers who think they have already experienced everything God has to offer.

But that is all a dead church has to offer. Almost no one has bothered to seek the Lord to see what is available...instead assuming that all truth and all the fulness of God is hidden somewhere in them already...maybe in their spleen???

What does Paul mean when He says to put on the whole armour of God? The armour of light?

In our modern superficial church culture the power of the walk in the New Covenant is unknown, having been reduced to a human philosophy of name it, and claim it, that does not give us the power to walk as Jesus walked. In so doing both the speakers and hearers of such vain philosophy have become spoiled and stunted for any advancement in the truth.
Are we only to imagine ourselves being covered with light? Are we to pantomime putting on various pieces of armour in front of the mirror? Is that what the bible is...a self-help book meant to inspire the flesh?

Well, if you don't agree that the bible is to be seen from a mere philosophical standpoint (rather than a testimonial to the power of God), you will draw the ire of the champions of the flesh...the religious outer man delegates who rely on that kind of self-serving interpretation.

So, what IS the armour of God (and of light) that Paul speaks of?

It is the covering anointing of walk that is really in supernatural light. To walk in the realm of the Spirit is to SEE light.

When Paul was knocked off his horse on the way to Damascus, he testified...(as recorded by Luke...who was not there)...

Acts 9: 3 "And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:"

Was the light described here a philosophical light? I don't think any would question that the light was something visible...at least to Paul. But not to others around him. We are told that they heard a voice but could SEE nothing.

Paul was permitted to see INTO the spiritual realm where men don't see...because they lack the spiritual faculties to do so.

Now walking in the Spirit is only possible by the covering anointing that causes the disciple of Christ to walk in the spiritual realm of the kingdom; having spiritual faculties to SEE the light that accompanies fellowship with the living God.

The armour of light is visible to the one walking in the light...but to no other. The bible is not Greek philosophy. It is not based on Western thinking. The bible...especially the NT is based on an honest testimony of something new...being reconciled to God to be where He is.

John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

When we walk as Jesus walked...in the light..as we abide IN Christ, His life blood gives us eternal light and eternal consciousness...so that, with spiritual faculties, we overcome the world as Jesus did. This walk is a walk in His victory, in His resurrection life. As such He becomes our righteousness and sanctification.

What is stopping the church from experiencing this kind of victory over sin, the devil and the world?

Unbelief.
first you have to be drafted into Gods army by being born again

If your still dead in sin, no armor will protect you from Gods wrath

I see that as the number one response in all his posts when anyone disagrees.
Have you considered whether that may be why episkopos posts?

All his threads run the same way. Provocative doctrinal statements, followed by disparagements against those who will disagree. They are all the same. And when it slows down he stirs the pot.

They are all the same.

Much love!

there you go with your sarkastic unchristlike spirit again.

You think the way yuo talk to people is "walking in the light"

You can;t teach people unless you understand first. You belittling and attacking everyone that does not agree with you does not mean you have the slightest idea of what you are saying.

the truth is, it leads people to see you have no idea. thats why you have top resort to responding int he flesh and not in the spirit

All his threads run the same way. Provocative doctrinal statements,
I suppose bland indoctrination threads are more soothing....relaxing. But the church needs to wake up...not sleep in longer.

Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

followed by disparagements against those who will disagree.

The disparagement begins as soon as I post what you call "provocative" aspects of the gospel...actually the truth as a challenge to faith. Any exhortation ...even from Jesus...is seen as " ad hominem" Of course the outer man offense to the truth is timeless.

It's all about where one is standing. The agreements by my detractors lies in the fact that when I say the words ...religious ego...so many feel a direct threat.

So, you deny your ego is at play here and on display EVEN THOUGH I’m not the only poster to point it out to you? Everyone else is wrong and you are right?
My posting such truth attracts religious egos like moths to a flame. They are seen as an existential threat by these. The carnal reactions are obviously the flesh seeking more self-justification, if anyone is paying attention. But what brings fear to the outer man brings peace and joy to the inner man.

I am writing to encourage the inner man to stand with Christ by faith...to OFFER the outer man as a living sacrifice to God.

Only a fool would fall for this philosophical, new age, mystic, all inclusive religiosity & darkness leading manure of a word salad speaker.

Jesus said we must come in the spirit of children which is innocence & trust but even children recognize  lies when spouted by  false adults......and RUN!

Stranger danger....Paul said if even an angel comes preaching ANOTHER gospel, he is a anti-Christ & let him be accursed!

If Jesus is the  way, why be a thief and break into the sheepfold except to steal & destroy and scatter !

the inner man is dead.

Unless it is born again, it will remain dead..

You can clean the outer man and make it look good. but as long as the inner man is dead. it does not matter

Only God can make the inner man born again.

Until you understand this gospel truth.. you will continue to get it wrong.. and need to attack people who are really trying to show you the truth
