I used to live in San Bernardino then San Diego. So I'm familiar with LA. It gets hot there. I remember going thru temperature shock when I first moved down there. It took a couple years for my body to adjust. I still got an air conditioner though ;)
Best state song ever! Really brings out the patriotism in me, makes me cry, and I'm not even from there!!

Born in NYC, moved to NJ. Moved again to upstate NY. Then, downstate NY. Moved to Los Angeles. Then to Monterey, CA. Then to England. Then to Florida. Then back to NY. Then to PA. Then to Chicago. Then to Las Vegas...

I loved L.A. I lived mostly in the "valley" Reseda...Canoga Park...Northridge...Chatworth...
...even Simi Valley for a few months. And Lancaster or a little over a year...
I loved, loved, LOVED SoCal.
But alas...
Well, I keep telling people that I live out beyond the black stump. I often wonder why people do not make the effort to visit me.

LOL! Good thing this question wasn't posed when I was homeless! I could have EASILY said, "Where am I from? From behind the dumpster...between 5th and Main in Las Vegas..."
