Anyone ever hear of Palatium Britannicum?
That was a Palace in 'pagan' Rome that the Romans built for the king of the Bretons (British) they had captured, and for his family in Rome. That is where the British king was held prisoner in Rome. And the Roman historians (like Tacitus) record that the royal British family were CHRISTIANS. That was before... any Roman Church system. It showed that Christianity was accepted on national scales in Great Britain first, prior to the Roman Church.
Not only that, but it shows the Roman Church was actually established... by Apostle Paul AND the British royal family when prisoners in Rome. This is why Apostle Paul hints to greetings in Romans 16 to Rufus and Linus (1st bishop of Rome, and son of Claudia, a link to the British royal family). Rufus Pudens was a Roman soldier assigned to Britain, and he married Claudia of the British royal family, and brought her back to Rome. The Roman pagans wanted to execute her because she was a Christian.
