And when does a person stop seeking those things first? Only when and if he has overcome all temptations like Jesus did. Who has done that?

OK, so you don't like addiction? I'm not sure addiction was actually addressed in the bible. The word addiction is similar to hate. It is an English language word people have created to describe something they did or didn't like. Some for of psychology really, which is also evil. In 25 years of psychology I have only seen some proper direction, and I think that was one idea, and also a very suspicious idea as to whether to assess that as good or evil. The idea I learned about was mental, emotional and physical conditioning. And I suppose that word "conditioning" could be used for either good or evil.

Like that idea, I suppose that the idea of addiction might also be used for good or evil. I was once told that co-dependency, which is a made up word from those same "psychologists" and that was used by them to shame the love area. I know that I really enjoyed the Holy Ghost and God was very generous with me and filled me with Love, Peace, Grace and Joy. I certainly miss that at times, it is a perhaps baptism of the Lords, along with his Holy Ghost. Am I addiction to God and his ways? I suppose that depends on how you view the idea of addiction. Some people enjoy immerssing themselves in God's ways to be fed by him with his good fruits.

Hate is another suspicious word often used in critical race theory for various suspicious reasons. Well, I don't think we should hate people and their bodies or colors for that reason and not hate people at all. But I do know we are the love the sinner but not the sin as they say. I think it is good for us Christians and followers of Christ to hate evil. And I often think of some possibly imaginary thing that is evil that hates good. Let's review some scripture on the subject:

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Was does a addict get out of it with the exception cigarettes that brings you nothing but death.A addict can stay in the moment there is no past there is no future there is just right now.With alcohol it works at first and then it all leaks in past and future causing the person to drink more to find that state of now.That's what they do chase that moment of bliss that keeps them in the moment with no past and no future.They are usually hiding from much deeper issues they don't want to think about or deal with.Its a sickness of the spirit where a person doesn't want to look back or more forward they are stuck by their addiction its what they want to stay in the moment..

There are other crazy addictions that have nothing to do with drugs or alcohol.Have you ever watched the show "My strange addiction" there were all sorts of crazy addictions.A woman was addicted to eating foam from a pillow another woman was addicted to eating dry wall and yet another woman was addicted to eating hair from drains. A woman who had to have this doll with her at all times I suspect there are some that cannot be mentioned.I can't for the life of me come up with an explanation for those addictions.It must bring them some kind of comfort.
I didn't mention any of the men in the show one lived his life as a baby, another married his car ,another is in love with his pool toys and another guy or it may of been a woman married a sideshow ride.They become obsessed with these objects.

@PGS11 if you or a friend has a problem drinking, I certainly will direct you to God and not mankind's rich doctors, they are in the area of Babylon, Egypt and Sodom's "get rich off sufferers" area. They charge a lot of money and force a person to stop drinking thru courts of law, they can't heal anyone is the truth, and all it causes is an eventual switching of addiction (which is re-direction the abused soul) or eventual strange behavior for a human. They certainly are charging a great deal of money, let's take a look, and from what I have seen it is actually the high value in the deceptive range:

God does not charge for healing people and also does not charge for providing them wisdom and knowledge. I am very suspicious of prohibition people that force control on others, controlling others by force and manipulation is a tactic of the followers of the devil. It is also led with hate. The bible gives direction for strong drink and wine, which are spoken of throughout the Old and New Testament. They certainly enjoyed that drink for all of the bible, some of the bible speaks out against it and most or the majority of it enjoyed those things.

People can surely become refrained from alcohol if engaging properly in a church under God the Father, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Ghost. I would very much dislike anyone attempting to say they cannot provide that for their children. That would be a form of blasphemy against God, he certainly is able to deliver his children from the hands of the devil and his angels and their man made followers.

There are however many forms of abused childhood and even into adulthood and that comes in many forms, and sometimes even comes from those who get a sick pleasure from abusing others, they call that sadistic abuse. You can often see it on their faces with a form of gluttonous facial expression or body language as if it makes them pleased. That certainly is a sign they are directed by a dark demon and also may suffer moments of possession. Those people are brought up from generation to generation while being abused, verbally, situationally, sexually and other physical forms of abuse. It is also spread throughout society in various ways from those people that never sought the Lord for healing. Improper raising of children is often the case I'm afraid. And I certainly did not see any better conduct amongst today's Christian communities as a whole. There certainly are good examples within churches, but I am afraid many do not even care to fix their problems and pass on their abusive conduct to peers and also their children and even adults, together with them, I'm afraid, are various disabled abused souls as well. They often pray on those who cannot defend themselves. Which is another topic of debate really in the evils of Democrats and promotion of gun control. Back on topic.

They call those people in that evil addiction "money making" industry "dry drunks". And they say that, because they have not been healed by God. There certainly should be a more appropriate term for them instead of shaming the responsible drinking area with the term "drunk" together with "dry". Perhaps it was already discussed in the bible as an afflicted soul. I certainly remember the abuses against Israel in captivity and also many bleeding heart "Psalm" messages of suffering and justice against those that promote evil and afflict others.

The proper direction for people that desire to be healed by either the "dry drunk" or excessive out of control drinking is to do the following:

1) Confess your sins and be baptized from a legitimate Christian church
2 )Confirmed to received the gift of the Holy Ghost by the Laying on of hands by priest and also pray that they receive his comforter and director or souls, the Holy Ghost is the messenger of The Father and Son and performs many functions as well
3)Receive the bread and wine of the new covenant
4) Begin and continue serving the Lord:

Baptism, Confirmation for the Hole Ghost & Sacrament
Honoring God
Obeying the Commandments
Praying
Reading Scriptures
Attending a Church
Serving Others in Charity
Proclaiming the Gospel
Etc...

I'm not even sure that "Doctor Bob and Mr Bill" 12 step program does anything good except create a stranger society. I have even seen attempts by churches to include that non sense in their organizations. I think good ol' fashion "Church" and "Religion" with faith enough to be healed certainly is a better solution. My investigation into AA and NA 12 step programs was that I did not see any proclaiming Jesus and confessing him to others for the promotion of salvation. Nor the promotion of Baptism, Confirmation of the Holy Ghost, Bread and Wine of the New Testament, and the continuing in Christianity for our own and others salvation. That certainly is a religious function. OK, enough said.

A note on what they call "dry drunk" syndrome. which may have never even drank in their entire lives or simply went to some illusive 12 step program that doesn't even promote the names or principles of God the Father, Jesus the Christ or the Holy Ghost.)

I did however in my lifetimes journey, and I will share the Wisdom God taught me regarding the subject, was that much eastern religions such as dragon worship and perhaps even idol worship were in those 12 step programs, recovery houses/business, and also psychology. Never once, while spending not only my money, but also the government insurance money, did I ever get the "God approved" program which included a proper sermon, and good service for me to perform. I never once saw them heal my soul. A lot of money made by the doctors and their staff.

Another concept that stems from the 12 step lies and promotion and also psychiatry and psychology, is the fact that some people will become mentally compromised by the afflictions and abuses forced into their souls from Bablyon, Egypt and Sodom dark cities of Satan and his devils. And usually they are put on medications to comfort them in other ways other than a proper "Bible" recommended method. They certainly have many medicines they can try on you while practicing medicine. And there are many side effects and also injuries and some permanant from trying out medications on human subjects. They may even be FDA approved and years later many class action lawsuits come up from harm of injury from those areas where they still have not had adequate time to evaluate the medication in general public use.

Allow me to correct that statement which appears misled by some form of indoctrination and lies regarding suicide. Satan promotes that and we see that in the new testament description of the so called "possessed":

Mark 9:21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

And there are certainly descriptions of possessed where Jesus and his disciples approached and they were very fierce such that no one could pass by. Jesus then cast them out of the possessed and Satan ordered them into the swine to mock Jesus and the swine ran into the water and drown, and the town folk all cried to Jesus and his followers to leave for the loss of their swine herd. Lesson is this, whenever you hear a statement from Satan and described in the bible, be careful not to see it as any form of truth, but rather a deceptive statement from Satan. His intent in being "Beelzibub" the devil that covets the souls of God's creation for the possession area, is to commit "evil" acts.

Possession is not the only affliction that can lead to self harm or attempts of such. Satan is the tempter and speaks subtely or loudly to tempt people to harm themselves or others, and even promotes sexual acts and conduct that is outside of God's directed marriage laws.

It is important to separate ourselves from the tempter during such dark feelings and thoughts, the devils are usually close by and God can show us they are the cause of that, it is therefore wise to become aware of what he is afflicting their souls with, which may be towards a self harm or harming others direction. It is probably not a normal human direction but rather a spiritual ill distance affect from the tempter.

The proper cure for that, is to blame those feelings and thoughts on the devil and the tempter and separate ourselves from them and turn to God in prayer and turn towards love for God. It is good to let go of memories that are unpleasant, and think of happy times in our lives when the loving God has blessed us. The Holy Ghost is love, peace, and joy and sometimes it's not easy to see how he has kept us alive for a purpose in life and also because he loves us. He has many blessing for us and enjoys giving gifts for his children.

I have even observed the wicked practices of psychology, which is a man created pseudo science, and not how humans work at all. Only God knows how his children work and probably would never give that to the wicked people of the earth. Each person is created different and there certainly is not a one size fits all solution, but there is much money to be made from doctors and their organized staff.

Here is an example:

The counselor will want you to discuss your "anxiety" which is alien to man and not even real, but certainly feels so as it causes various physiological effects that doctors can study and charge perhaps much money for. It is something along the lines of what humans experience as "fear". Satan is ready to assist those evil counselors of Babylon, Sodom and Egypt and provide that dark spiritual tempter feeling for them. They are some modern like sorcerer of Egypt in Moses time. They say they want to help, but we as Christians know there is only one "Good Physician" and only God can heal afflictions of the soul. So they would not be Christian counselors at all, but rather promoting the devils tempter area of "anxiety". The tempter can speak a darkness to the soul and even be felt in the heart of man as fear. The proper direction for that person is found in the bible:

1 John 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.

I'm not even sure that thinking back to memories can cause emotions from the heart. The heart area is an eye of the soul between body and spirit and can be fed warm loving happy feelings from God or dark feelings from the dark angels of Satan.

Memories are certainly stored in the brain and perhaps spirit? Well, I'm not sure emotions are stored at all. There certainly feelings supplied from God and Satan and as we go thru life, we are required to have a heart towards people in a caring and loving way, and God certainly desires for that to be our conduct here on earth. God is the only one Good and can provide good works for us.

Let me clarify, when doctors and their staff want to talk about your anxiety or fear, satan is already or nearby with his many devils to provide that spirit of fear or anxiety. Those types of feelings and memories are best left in the past. Moving on to happy Christian fulfilling life experiences.

If your going to sin and fall into to evil it comes from your mind first not from some outside force you choose it.Maybe the temptation is there but you have to think about it and choose it. Jesus has told you this himself.Take responsibility for it.Now if your being attacked by some demonic force that's another story.A person knows when they are doing evil and when they doing good no one needs to tell them unless they are mentally ill.Do you need someone to tell you?

There were lots of drunks back then and they were not called possessed.
