What's a "Jewish Sabbath"? I don't know what corrupted version you're reading, but the KJV says the Sabbath goes all the way back to Creation, thousands of years before there was a Jew -

- because the blessing of the Sabbath day mentioned in Exodus is the same blessing that went forth in Eden on the 7th day, as proven by 1 Chronicles 17:27 KJV which says God's blessings are "one and done" and absolutely in no need ever of any mountain top booster shot.

Again Christians do not observe the Law…none of it. “The Law” as a concept does not exist for Christians. Then on the other hand basic morals taught by Christ and the Apostles are basic morals….We do not steal….or commit adultery….or murder, but not because of the “the Law” but because of the teaching of Christ and the Apostles. The Old Testament Laws mean nothing to Christians.

By the numbers….

1. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” .... We have two other Gods.

2. “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.” ... We blow this out of the water ten ways to Sunday.

3. “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.” ... We show respect to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

4. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” ... Christian are not required to keep the 7th day holy or the Saturday Jewish Sabbath

5. “Honour thy father and thy mother.” ... Basic Christian morals

6. “Thou shalt not kill.” ... Do not murder, basic Christian morals

7. “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” ... Basic Christian morals

8. “Thou shalt not steal.”.…Basic Christians morals

9. “Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor. If we are on a witness stand we will not lie.

10. Thou shalt not covet……Good advise.

Because there is no scripture that defines the Law in Exodus back in Genesis. So you are wrong.

Gentiles are not the children of Israel.
Converted Gentiles are sons of God.

Why is it “important” ?
Because the “children of Israel” have historically and to this day been the most “persecuted” people in the world.
