What do you hope to prove in ch. 2 that wasn't already created by God in ch. 1.
Everything. God created Adam, the garden, then garden animals then lastly Eve.

What do you hope to prove in ch. 2 that wasn't already created by God in ch. 1.
You take the chapters as strictly chronological. They are not, because they contradict each other, if you do that.Scripturally, we are specifically told that no one was ALLOWED in the Garden, and that Cain and Abel were born outside the garden, with the inheritance of sin and death.
Gen. 3
[23] Therefore the LORD God sent him [both A&E] forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
[24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Gen. 4
[1] And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
[2] And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
[3] And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
[4] And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
[5] But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Because A&E had been driven out of the garden, and both Cain and Abel were born outside of the garden, It is evident that both Cain and Abel were accustomed to a sacrificial service unto the LORD, that took place outside of the garden.
So then, when Cain came under the LORD's punishment for his sin, Cain left the presence of the LORD and his family life, that he had with A&E, while all were outside of the garden. No one was allowed in the garden, lest they partake of the Tree of Life and live forever.
Gen. 4[16] And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
[17] And Cain knew his wife [a daughter of A&E??]; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Thanks for your reply.
It's not that I don't fully comprehend the details of what the majority of church- ianity teaches about KJV Dan. 12:11, ....
Christ's church is invisible, and consists of "Born Again" Saints, who are not simply baptized by water, but are personally anointed/baptized by the Holy Spirit, aka being a literal "New creature". John 3:3, 5; Rom. 8:8-9.Why do you keep using that false term "church-ianity" when pointing to the Christian Church??? There is no such thing; there is either Christ's Church, or false houses of vanity which God called 'beth-avens' (house of vanity). But even in Christ's Church there can... exist "doctrines of men", which is the idea Apostle Paul used in Col.2 for doctrines that go against God's written Word.
You cannot just throw deceived brethren in the wastebasket, even though Jesus will separate them when He returns, and they will stand in judgment throughout His future "thousand years" reign. Still, they are believers on Him. And especially the majority of unbelieving Jews today Apostle Paul showed that God blinded, so The Gospel would go to the Gentiles. Shall we just throw them in the wastebasket also, because God blinded them spiritually away from The Gospel of Jesus Christ? God forbid, no!Christ's church is invisible, and consists of "Born Again" Saints, who are not simply baptized by water, but are personally anointed/baptized by the Holy Spirit, aka being a literal "New creature". John 3:3, 5; Rom. 8:8-9.
They are "peppered" among all the religious christian denominations, that do profess that Christ has come from everlasting, and has appeared to us in the flesh.
However, there are many "Religious christians", who look and sound christian, but they are in name only, holding vital church positions. All of such "are none of His". Not for lack of biblical knowledge and "degrees" in learning (1 Cor. 2:5), but rather because they DON'T HAVE a "wedding garment".
Mat. 22:1-14; Rom. 8:9
.
In Gen. 1:27, God had already created Eve in Adam. In essence, she was simply brought forth by God, from out of the flesh of Adam.Everything. God created Adam, the garden, then garden animals then lastly Eve.
I'm not throwing anyone who is "born again" of God's Holy Spirit in the wastebasket. However, there are MANY who profess to believe in Christ, but NEVER make the commitment that Christ should literally be invited to live within them, and therefore they are "lukewarm". John 14:23; Rev. 3:15-20.You cannot just throw deceived brethren in the wastebasket, even though Jesus will separate them when He returns, and they will stand in judgment throughout His future "thousand years" reign. God forbid, no!
And remember, Jesus said those who had been given much, but let it go to waste will be beaten with many stripes, while those who had not will be beat with few stripes...
Luke 12:47-48
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
KJV
In Gen. 1:27, God had already created Eve in Adam.
"And the evening and the morning were the 6th day" cannot be overlooked or denied.Neither Adam or Eve existed yet in Gen 1. They were created in Genesis 2.
"And the evening and the morning were the 6th day" cannot be overlooked or denied.
Just as it is in Revelation, much of what is written there is not chronological, but rather is repeated from a different perspective with intensity, for clarification in understanding. So also is the creation story in Genesis.
All "born again" Christians literally do "have the mind of Christ" alongside within them. Unfortunately, many read the scriptures with their natural mind of the "natural man", of which is strictly linear thinking. Chronological thinking is linear thinking.Genesis is chronological. The events of Gen 2 happen after the events of Gen 1.
This is some first rate creative eschatology, friend.KJV Mat. 24[15] WHEN YE therefore shall see the abomination [The REASON] of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand). Psalm 24:3-5
THEN let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"
Mark 13[14] But WHEN YE shall SEE the abomination [The REASON] of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,). Psalm 24:3-5.
THEN let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Luke 21:4-20
[20] And WHEN YE shall SEE Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know [the REASON why] that the desolation thereof is NIGH.
[21] THEN let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
[22] For these be the days of vengeance [punishment], that ALL
THINGS which are written may be fulfilled.
[23] But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! FOR there shall be GREAT distress [TRIBULATION] in the land
and WRATH upon THIS people**
[24] And they [Israel] shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, UNTIL the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Rom.11:25; Mat 24:14).
**NOTE: the wrath of God is not upon His Born Again saints, being both Jew and Gentile.
Q. How long shall "the days of vengeance (punishment)" be? Luke 21:24.
A. UNTIL the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Rom. 11:25; Mat. 24:14.
John 2[19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy [DESOLATE] THIS temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
[20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
[21] But he spake of the temple of his body.
Now, let's go back to the above: Mat. 24:15 and Mark 13:14, and understand Who the abomination was committed against, by referencing the Seven abominations in Proverbs 6:16-19.
Now, since God made an interjection of a 7th abomination in Prov. 6:16, please find "THE abomination" that is the most abominable towards God, of which is actually "THE abomination that MAKETH desolate"- KJV Daniel 12:11
Q. So then, according to the 7th abomination in Proverbs 6:16-19, who was it, that committed that abomination, when Jesus was with us in mortal flesh?
A. Mat. 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, [let] His [innocent] blood be on us, and on our children.
Q. What was the 7th abomination, that was committed against God the Father and the Son?
A. The shedding of innocent blood, of His only begotten Son. Proverbs 6:17.
You wouldn't happen to know of anyone else, that was physically born with innocent blood, would you???
I didn't think so!
Now, let's connect all of that with John 2:19 and understand which temple it was, that was going to be the VICTIM, to receive the act of the 7th abomination.
Well of course, it literarally was the mortal body/TEMPLE of the Lord Jesus Christ, having innocent blood.
Was it the Roman named Pilate or Titus, that committed the 7th abomination against God the Father and the Son, or....was it someone else, whereby such an act brought about that which [God] "MAKETH desolate", being that of the vengeance of God?
Q. Since 70AD., who is it that had fallen under the vengeance of God?
(Our clue: "wrath upon this people". Luke 21:23).
Please select the correct answer:
1. The Romans.
2. The Jews.
Through this brief study, you now have come to know, that act by Israel: "THE ABOMINATION [of shedding the innocent blood of Jesus] [is] THAT [of why God] MAKETH DESOLATE", and is now long past, of which shall NEVER be repeated again for THAT REASON, or any other reason. Dan. 12:11.
If one is ever going to understand the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24-27, they MUST study it through the KJV only, with the teaching by God's Holy Spirit, and NOT by the wisdom of men.
1 Cor. 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
In case you forgot, the "abomination that MAKETH desolate", was against God, not the Jews, their temple or their city. This is some first rate creative eschatology, friend.
The AoD is connected to Ezekiel 8, not Proverbs 6. In Ezekiel 8, the last and worst abomination was "God's priests standing in the temple with their backs to Him and worshipping the sun in the East".
The AoD spoken of by Daniel is a "dual prophecy" referring to both the past "sun-worshipping Romans" who defiled the city and temple with the blood of the Jews and with their sun worship standards bearing hornoring the sun god, Satan...
...and also the end times AoD where papists/papal sympathizers have invaded the "temple of God" (church) and defiled it by setting up "Sunday sacredness" in place of God's holy Sabbath, and will persecute those who refuse to accept the papal beast's claim "Sunday is our Mark of authority" (the Mark of the Beast) while rejecting the "Seal of God" (the Sabbath) at the heart of the very law Isaiah says is to be "sealed among My disciples".
As long as people like you embrace Jesuit "Left Behind" Futurism or Jesuit "Way Behind" Preterism, and forsake the truth of Protestant Historicism, you will never understand end times prophecy, friend.
In case you forgot, the Jews crucified their Messiah 40 years prior and continued cursing Him all the way up to the AoD - if that ain't war against God, nothing is.In case you forgot, the "abomination that maketh desolate", was against God, not the Jews, their temple or their city.
We need to determine what "abomination" caused Jerusalem and the temple to be made "desolate".Prov. 6[16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination UNTO HIM:
#3 of 7, is that abomination, which is really the 7th, that God ADDS to the six:
[17] (1)A proud look, (2)a lying tongue, and (3) hands that shed innocent blood,....
Jesus warned Christians to "flee" when they saw the AoD standing in the "holy place" that it should not be.Since we all do know who it was that committed the act of shedding the innocent blood of Christ, it's easy to follow WHY God's WRATH fell upon them in 70AD.
Therefore, God did truly make them DESOLATE (void of God- the KoG was taken from them). Luke 21:23
Please reference my post #1.
That's just it, you ARE throwing all those not yet "born again" today, which is to claim what the Gnostic doctrine of Amillennialism believes, i.e., that when Jesus comes, all that don't believe on Him are destroyed right then. Well, you don't know your Bible then, if that is what you believe.I'm not throwing anyone who is "born again" of God's Holy Spirit in the wastebasket.
Anyone who is NOT yet born again, in the Day that Jesus is revealed from heaven, in all His Eternal and Immortal Glory, will be destroyed by His Eternal Presence of flaming fire. That is biblical!!That's just it, you ARE throwing all those not yet "born again" today, which is to claim what the Gnostic doctrine of Amillennialism believes, i.e., that when Jesus comes, all that don't believe on Him are destroyed right then. No, that is NOT Biblical. That is a doctrine from MEN, and not from God in His Word.Anyone who is NOT yet born again, in the Day that Jesus is revealed from heaven, in all His Eternal and Immortal Glory, will be destroyed by His Eternal Presence of flaming fire. That is biblical!!
Why Antiochus Epiphanes IV nor Judas Maccabees are not the "Little Horn" of Daniel:You and most Christians are not listening to the fact that the prophecy of Daniel was fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes lV and Judas Maccabeus.
You haven't learned that the book of Daniel was for the Israel of faith, as the book of Revelation is for the church of God's Born Again saints. Why Antiochus Epiphanes IV nor Judas Maccabees are not the "Little Horn" of Daniel:
Daniel 8:8-12,23 KJV
[8] Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
[9] And out of one of them came forth a little horn...
You guys claim "them" refers to "notable ones" ("horns") so you can argue Antiochus came out of the "Seleucid" horn.
Not so, for the antecedent closest in proximity to the pronoun "them" is "winds". Also, noun-pronoun gender agreement excludes the feminine "horns" as the noun antecedent of the masculine pronoun "them". However, "winds" can either be feminine or masculine as when the Lord brought the locusts to Egypt by the "east wind", thereby qualifying it as the noun antecedent of "them".
...which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
Antiochus Epiphanes IV didn't even begin to approach the level of the "exceeding great" over Medo-Persia or Alexander the Great. He began his pitiful legacy as a 25 year old hostage in Rome after his father was defeated. After a prisoner exchange, he ascended to power and one of his first "exceeding great" accomplishments was to pay tribute to the Romans as part of a conflict resolution - before Rome even became an Empire! He was a win some, lose some leader who hardly expanded Seleucid borders. He was publicly humiliated after a short occupation in Egypt by Roman ambassador Lainas, there with only a small security force, who ordered Antiochus and his army to leave at once. When Antiochus asked for time to decide, Lainas drew a circled around him in the dirt and demanded an answer before he stepped out - humiliated, he put his tail between his legs and left and stopped to harass the helpless Jews on his way home. Is that what "exceeding great" leaders do? He was mocked as "Epimines" ("madman"). I'm not sure what reasons you give for Judas Maccabeus being "exceeding great" over the others, but no matter. The Little Horn is both Pagan Rome, which indeed waxed "exceeding great" after Greece.
[10] And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
Here, we see Pagan Rome transform into Papal Rome, shifting its lateral attack on humanity to an all out vertical assault on God as Papal Rome by blasphemous practices and comingling paganism with Christianity. Antiochus was just another harmless Zeus worshipper.
[11] Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
[12] And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
The papacy hijacked the "daily" ("sacrifice" is not in the original Hebrew). The "daily" ("tamid") refers to the entire daily high priest ministry of intercession, which the papacy hijacked from Christ in the heavenly sanctuary and "cast the truth to the ground" by taking it upon itself. Antiochus never did any of that - the timing of his sacrifice of a pig on the Jew altar and moratorium on the Jew sacrificial system does not coincide with the "2,300 evenings and mornings" prophecy, whether interpreted as literal or symbolic.
[23] And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Gabriel says "in the latter time of their kingdom" but Antiochus was only 8 in a line of 20 kings! His reign was anything but "in the latter times" of the Seleucid kingdom. So, who arose "exceeding great" in the "latter time" of the Seleucid line of kings? Rome rose up "exceeding great" as Pagan Rome then Papal Rome.
Also, the AoD spoken of by Daniel is still future in the time of Christ, according to Christ Himself, so how could a pig sacrifice in Antiochus' day have anything to do with Christ's prediction of a coming AoD at the hands of the Romans - not Greek Seleucids?
