Just what it says. He became all mens sin and was judged and punished as sin for us. The mechanics of it, I have no clue other than God said so.What does it mean to "become sin"?
Much love!

Did the goat "became sin?"Just what it says. He became all mens sin and was judged and punished as sin for us. The mechanics of it, I have no clue other than God said so.
Jesus was NOT born again. that was for us not Him. To be born again is to die to the old man of sin and be reborn anew in the Spirit (Eph 4:22, Col 3:9). Jesus didnt need salvation. He is salvationAll threw Christian dome brothers and sisters we hear the term born again. You will hear people in the churches, on the street, at work, even in jail, making the statement, "since I have been born again. For those who have any knowledge in the word (Holy Scriptures) will understand that this just isn’t the case, because born again is a change in the body not in the mind. Now Paul says in Romans 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Now this is a pretty simple lesson brother and sisters, pay close attention to what’s being said.
Now, Let’s jump right in a conversation that Jesus was having with a man name Nicodemus. John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Notice verse 3, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. We have just learned something here. If you are not born again you can not see the kingdom of God. As we go further you will understand this. Remember there is a time for everything.
Nicodemus asked a very good question. Take a look at the next set of verses.
John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
In verse 5, born of the water in this case is the Word of God. Notice the Lord mentions the kingdom of God again, but He adds a little more information. He says "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When he mentions spirit He means exactly that. Watch how the Lord gives something physical to describe exactly what He means.
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Notice: He made a difference between flesh and spirit. Ask yourself that question, was you born flesh or spirit?
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Notice: He compared the wind to a spirit. Can you see the wind? No! We have seen things being blown around by the wind, but we have never seen the wind. If you are born of the spirit you are like the wind. This is when you are truly born again, when you are born of the spirit.
Notice: what Jesus does in these next few verses. Remember, this is after His resurrection.
John 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Note two very important things within these verses. 1. Jesus appeared in the midst of them and the doors were shut. 2. Thomas called Him God. When Jesus came out of the grave he was born into the God family, Jesus was Born Again.
Born again is a change in the body, not the mind. Go back and take a good look at those verses. Can a flesh and blood man do this?Jesus was NOT born again. that was for us not Him. To be born again is to die to the old man of sin and be reborn anew in the Spirit (Eph 4:22, Col 3:9). Jesus didnt need salvation. He is salvation
Well let's see how do we tap into that lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.Yes . . . we need to pay close attention to all that Scripture says.
1 Peter 1:1-5 KJV
1) Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Letters from Heaven?? Or, is Peter blessing God for the rebirth already given? He was blessing God for the rebirth already given. This thread is in error from the start. Salvation as a reward for works is a perversion of the true Gospel.
Much love!
All the prophets and apostle know that when we died we are going to be raise in a different body that will not die. There are two resurrection, let's go into Revelation 20: 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.I agree, maybe Brother @bro.tan can explain in more detail, as I too don’t understand how Jesus was Born Again.
Show me in scripture where God says Born Again is a change in the body?Born again is a change in the body, not the mind. Go back and take a good look at those verses. Can a flesh and blood man do this?
That a lie to say I have not supported Jesus died and in his resurrection he was born again. You refuse to believe what the word of God is saying, because you have been taught to believe different.I'm having a difficult time understanding what this has to do with my post. And I wonder that you would pretend ANYTHING to do with Scripture.
You asserted that Jesus was "born again" when He was resurrected, but you've not supported that in any way. Yes, He died, yes, He resurrected, but that is not regeneration as the Bible teaches regeneration.
Much love!
The Bible doesn't say it like that, I do, because it's easier to explain to people.Show me in scripture where God says Born Again is a change in the body?
Or do you mean the flesh?
Our spirit is also Born Again my friend, ...we are Born Of The Spirit...not the flesh.
In attempting to prove that Jesus did not physically rise, they cite 1 Peter 3:18 and 1 Corinthians 15:45, stating that Jesus was, “put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit” and “[Jesus] became a life-giving spirit . . . [for] flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom.”
How can it be easier to explain if it’s not biblical...it’s sowing confusion amongst The brethren. The Bible doesn't say it like that, I do, because it's easier to explain to people.
Angels where born spirit being, man and beast are born flesh and blood. There will be no flesh in the Father Kingdom, only spirit beings, so everyone must be born again. Only Jesus in his thousand year reign will have both, which includes the first resurrection. Roman Christianity teaches Born Again is like what Paul says being renewed in the mind. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Total different conversation Jesus and Nicodemus were having.
Yes he can and will happen at the white throng Judgement, except there are two people that will have it before. Let's go into Revelation 19: 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. This is everlasting fire, the body have to change to endure this punishment. Flesh burns up quick, let see how long they been in there. Let's go into Revelation 20: 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. So now all three have the a spirit being body and they are burning. Our spirit is Born Again, before we have a glorified spirit body, it’s when this body of flesh that houses the Holy Spirit dies, that is when we will be raised in our new spirit bodies......because we are already spirit children of the most high....otherwise if we aren’t Born Again how do we receive our glorified spirit bodies?
Our spirit must be reconciled back to God before we can receive our glorified spirit bodies...
He can’t give a sinner a glorified spirit body can he?
1 Corinthians 6:19
King James Version
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
When we are Born Again we belong to God we are His spirit children.
We are in this world, but , we are not Of this world anymore when we become Born Again, we are in the Kingdom Of God.
He bought us for a price..did he not?
What does it mean that “you were bought with a price” (1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23)?

ANSWER
Twice the apostle Paul informed believers at Corinth, “You were bought with a price.” In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul was making a passionate appeal against sexual immorality. He concluded his argument, stating, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20, ESV).
A Christian’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. At salvation, the Holy Spirit takes up residence, transforming the believer’s body into a sanctified place, a home for God’s holy presence (Hebrews 10:10). In union with Christ, the Christian receives a new nature and a new identity (2 Corinthians 5:17). When a believer engages in sexual immorality, he or she violates that new creation, which was purchased at a very high price.
The price we were bought with is disclosed in 1 Peter 1:18–19: “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God” (NLT).
When Paul said, “You were bought with a price,” he meant that believers were purchased and paid for with the sinless, spotless perfection of Jesus Christ’s blood. Jesus Himself said that He came to give His life as a ransom for us (Matthew 20:28). Since we were obtained at such a tremendous expense, we are to use our bodies to honor God with good deeds: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT).
Paul reminded the Corinthians that ownership of their bodies had been transferred to Christ. They no longer had the right or freedom to use their bodies any way they wished. Just as slaves were purchased in the ancient world, we were bought with the price of Christ’s blood on the cross. We now belong to Him (1 Corinthians 7:22). We don’t have the right to rebel against our Master by using our bodies in ways He forbids.
Paul repeated this teaching in 1 Corinthians 7:23, but with an emphasis on spiritual freedom: “You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings.” Believers are set free from the dominion of sin through the death of Christ (Galatians 1:4). Our spiritual freedom comes at the price of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Consequently, since we now belong to Christ, we must not let ourselves come under the control of other humans.
Paul’s phrase become slaves of human beings was meant metaphorically. We are not to let human ideas and worldly systems rule over us. Legalism, for example, should not rule us; we are not bound by the rules of men. Rather, we are “responsible to God” (1 Corinthians 7:24). Jesus Christ alone is our Master.
In one sense, the blood of Christ paid for our liberation, setting us free from sin; but in another inference, His sacrifice changed our ownership, making us slaves to God alone. “You were bought with a price” means God was willing to obtain possession of us on Calvary by paying the ultimate price—the blood of His own Son (Acts 20:28).
Sometimes I get really frustrated with God, why, because I can do nothing in my own strength, I have to wait on the Lord, everything is in his timing.
I know his ways are perfect, it doesn’t stop me from getting frustrated with him though, just being honest.
Patience, patience, I know, that is what he is teaching me.LOL.
I never said born again is a change in the body and not the mind, is written like that in the Bible. I never said that was written in the Bible like that. But I see you want to use that to have a cause against me, after all that Bible verse I've given you to understand. How can it be easier to explain if it’s not biblical...it’s sowing confusion amongst The brethren.
On saying that, I’ve done it myself..added to Gods word , it’s wrong and it’s confusing my friend.
I didn't, you must have fail to understand something. Maybe you could of ask me a simple question, just to if we on the same mindset. The New Testament presents Jesus Christ as sinless through various scripture references that affirm His purity, perfection, and divine nature. Here are key passages that demonstrate this aspect of His character:
1. John 8:46
“Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?”
In this verse, Jesus challenges His accusers, asserting that none can point to any sin in Him, emphasizing His sinless nature.
2. Hebrews 4:15
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
This passage indicates that Jesus was tempted in every way that humans are but remained sinless throughout His life.
3. Hebrews 7:26
“For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.”
Here, the author of Hebrews describes Jesus as holy and undefiled, underscoring His perfect nature.
4. 1 Peter 2:22
“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.”
Peter directly states that Jesus committed no sin, highlighting His blamelessness.
5. 2 Corinthians 5:21
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
This verse emphasizes that Jesus knew no sin, affirming His sinless character and His role as the perfect sacrifice for humanity.
6. 1 John 3:5
“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”
This passage clearly states that there is no sin in Jesus, reinforcing His purity and purpose.
7. Matthew 5:17
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”
While not a direct assertion of sinlessness, Jesus' fulfillment of the law implies a perfect adherence to God's commandments, which underscores His sinless life.
8. Luke 1:35
“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”
In this verse, Jesus is referred to as “that holy thing,” affirming His divine and sinless nature from conception.
These references collectively affirm the belief in Jesus Christ's sinlessness, which is foundational to Christian theology regarding His role as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. The consistent portrayal of Jesus as sinless is essential for understanding His qualifications as Savior and High Priest, capable of mediating between God and mankind.
Just Scripture-let's not add our own presuppositions here @bro.tan

Brother, I have nothing against you whatsoever. dont believe the enemy, he’s a liar and trying to cause us to divide.I never said born again is a change in the body and not the mind, is written like that in the Bible. I never said that was written in the Bible like that. But I see you want to use that to have a cause against me, after all that Bible verse I've given you to understand.
Ok, thank you...will get back to you, once I’ve reread and studied what you have typed. What I'm saying is, born again is a change in the body and not the mind. Paul and Jesus show you the change in the body. Paul broke it down and gave example. Jesus did things after his resurrection that only a spirit being can do. But at the end of the day in judgment each one of us will give account for our own salvation. Therefore, we must not let anyone lead us down the wrong path, but should verify all of our teaching with the holy bible. YOUR SALVATION IS AT STAKE! "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12).
Revelation 1;5 says otherwise. Christ himself confirms this Revelation 1;17.QUOTE...When Jesus Came out the Grave, he was Born Again.
Nope. He was born again at Bethlehem. First begotten of the Father in eternity, begotten a second time in Bethlehem. When God sent His only begotten Son into the world, He had a Son to send.
