A friend of mine posted this on his FB page. It really sums up what has happened to our country (Canada) over the past few months. In a time when we need strong leadership, our leader throws in the towel and effectively shuts down Parliament at a very critical time in our nation's history.
"Our Supreme Leader has thrown Canada under the Bus. I think he has even thrown the liberal party under the bus.
Its really important we look at the big picture.
Donald trump takes office Jan 20 and is threatening 25% tariffs, and us becoming the 51th St.
Do you think Canada needs leadership at a time like this? Hell yes!
But......... Our Supreme Leader has paralyzed Canada with no government until the end of March as he choose to prorogue while the liberal party scrambles.
This was a huge mistake. When parliament opened at the end of this month we could have had a no confidence vote. Now we have to wait 2 more months, all at a time when our country needs leadership the most.
41 million Canadians hostage while the Liberals get their act together. Our country will pay the price for this.
This will be the end of the liberal party. Anyone voting to give these guys a seat..... well, I dont have a polite way to say what that person needs."
