And his spirit is in Christ, so we have both the Spirit of God and the Son in us. So who else is there to cram into the equation for salvation? Why does it have to say it exactly?

Consider also the beatitudes, here are some then Christ says
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Why would Christ say this about other people if He was not perfect? Perfect as in a perfect relationship with the Father.

And we know Christ was without sin, and never had need of forgiveness with God.
