Personally, I have no interest in smoking week. I have better ways to spend my money :)

For people who are susceptible to addiction, I would advise against it.

Does smoking weed bring in demons?

If you overdo it, it may. The same goes for getting drunk.

If you find weed helpful, do it wisely and thank God for it.

What about opium?

Opium is highly addictive. Users will develop dependency and lose self-control. It is not wise to have an opium habit.

As a recovering alcoholic and a former, recreational, user of Marijuana and other substances, it is my firm belief that using Marijuana and drugs is BAD for us with the EXCEPTION of legitimate medicinal benefits.

I generally agree with you but I know a very faithful follower of Jesus that suffered a stroke and was prescribed opiods for years and was unable to function. Then he experimented with medical marijuana and, long-story-short, he's off opiods and is able to function much better and he says it saved his life.

I have been in hospital with severe pain and was given morphine.

No issue there.

I wonder, had I been so unwise as to place my sins before you in this public forum, were you intending to pray for me? To offer me the right hand of fellowship? To mourn with me over these sins of mine?

As one that got saved... then tricked by demons as a baby Christian to return back to my sinful lifestyle (back in the 80s), I'd seek to teach what to do and how to overcome.

When Jesus spoke of the devil finding the house sweep clean (not occupied by the Lord and His Word) and coming back with demons far worse and the persons ending up 7 times worse than they were originally... I experienced that.

It took me years to get in to God's Word and learn how to be an overcomer... so I would seek to teach one how to do that.

If they did what most "religious" people do and claim they were born sinners and they just can't help but do sin and they are saved anyway as they live in sin.... then I'd tell them they are reprobate and of their father the devil. After they reject God's Word.

Yeah, people totally miss the point. For me, it’s purely medical, specifically dealing with chronic shoulder pain from an old injury that flares up after heavy pressing. I need legal access to manage that inflammation without destroying my kidneys with NSAIDs.

I smoked it a few times in the past and that is quite different. Doctors give patient tiny dosages of fentanyl and that is fine, it is the amount and reason for something.

Gave all the glory and honor to this weed and says it saved His life .
I have not been against medicinal things
BUT LETS GET REAL . Anytime one is healed , or perhaps even operated on and the operation was a success
or perhaps was healed of cancer . YOU REALLY THINK the doctors or medicines saved that person .
GOD is the one in control . And i know medicines can be used to help .
But when one is healed or etc , THEY OUGHT to have simply THANKED GOD .
i seen folks go onto medicines to cure only to die
I see folks go onto medicines to cure and were cured .
SO WHO YA REALLY THINK was BEHIND their healing . WHY does a medicne work for one but not for another .
