Biblical repentance is to change your mind, or more literally, to exchange one mind for another. Metanoia, the "after mind", that is, the mind that results from having made an exchange. That's the meaning of the word. I know you want it to mean more.
The point you are making, I'm guessing, is that real repentance results in a change. The repentance results in a change of behavior, but is not itself that change of behavior.
You presume to speak for me, and you are not doing so correctly. Better, in my opinion, to allow others to speak for themselves.
