I get the impression that it has. They are very defensive about questioning Catholic doctrine.
What was your incident, if I may ask?
Asking questions and issuing replies that failed to cast the Holy See in the most favorable light possible.
It's my experience with CF.com that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, meaning it's less about what's fair and more about simply who complains the loudest. It's a big forum, and I think the staff is mostly operating on a just put out the fires principle. Not the way it should be, IMO, but they grew it so large that they kinda outgrew their ability to properly manage it. That's assuming they want it managed more strictly or if their interest was in creating tension and then feeding off of it, but that's another story for another time.
That is not a very helpful comment. Surely, on this forum at least, we can rise above bashing other Christians. The Catholic Church is an organization that is of the world and most of its followers are cultists.

I was on there a few years ago and got the impression that it is run by Catholics incognito. Even their logo of a cathedral gave me that impression. Or perhaps it is actually ecumenical/interfaith but run by Catholics.....a means to draw people into the Catholic fold.I get the impression that it has. The few ex- Catholic's that I've talked to, that become born again and left the catholic church, are the worst to attack the Catholic's. The ex JW's that become born again attack the JW's the worst, ex Mormon's after they become born again, attack the Morman's the worst. It is the same with any cult. Nobody attack's Methodist's, Baptists, or Lutheran, or others after leaving. That is not a very helpful comment. Surely, on this forum at least, we can rise above bashing other Christians.
A Christian is someone who is born again and has the Holy Spirit. That rules out the vast majority of Catholics. Catholicism is a cult and the Lord gave me the revelation that we must be unequivocal in understanding that the spirit that rules it is not the HOLY Spirit, but another. ie, it is NOT Christian, regardless of what it calls itself, or what the world calls it. It is a counterfeit. Form of Godliness, denying the power...from such turn away. That is not a very helpful comment. Surely, on this forum at least, we can rise above bashing other Christians.

Perhaps you've not heard......but, not everyone who claims to be a Christian, is actually a Christian, and not every Religious Organization that names the name of Christ is a Christian organization.
That just goes to show what a powerful weapon the word of God is.Once the discussion goes into scriptural details the Catholic apologists accuse Christians of being "haters" and then flee.

Unfortunately the Catholic church claims to be the universal church of Jesus Christ........which it decidedly is not.* The word "catholic" (literally, "complete," "universal," or "according to the whole") refers to the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ and not necessarily or exclusively to any particular visible denomination, institution, or doctrine.
