Revelation 17 reveals the ten horns (ten kings which represent the ten toes of the feet of iron mixed with clay), will only come to power "one hour" with the "beast" (i..e, the beast king, the final Antichrist/false-Messiah).
So those ten kings are not manifest yet today, nor were they manifest back in history either.
Per Daniel 7:24, it says the other king ("beast" king/false-Messiah) that arises among those ten kings, will subdue 3 of the ten kings. And the idea of subdue in the manuscripts isn't that those 3 kings are killed, but that they are only abased, humbled or lowered in status.
That means... the coming beast system will have 3 main parts:
1. the "beast" king/false-Messiah
2. the 7 kings left out of the 10.
3. the 3 subdued kings by the false-Messiah
I've been mulling that over for a while, looking for some kind of political system today that might be forming that structure. I found out about a globalist one-world think-tank back in the 70's called the Trilateral Commission which was founded by internationalist David Rockefeller who set globalist Jimmy Carter and Zbigniew Brzezinski in control of it. Its members also include members of the U.S. think-tank Council On Foreign Relations (CFR).
The Trilateral Commission was mentioned in my college American history book, and I recall asking the instructor what it was about, and he said he didn't know. That got me looking more into it. Both organizations have as their goal a "one world government." One of their political magazines, Foreign Affairs (by the CFR) started in 1922 in the U.S., and is full of international lingo that most will not bother to read, yet reveals pretty much what they are up to. It used to be on display at public libraries, but I don't know about now.
The Trilateral idea they claim is about better relations between Japan, western Europe, and the U.S., but in reality it is about the idea of three separate Union organizations over 3 country regions, the European Union being the first one to manifest. It also includes the idea of an American Union (Canada, U.S., and Mexico), and an Asia-Pacific Union. Basically a tri-parte world division. Thus the subdued 3 kings maybe?? We'll have to wait and see.
The 7 kings would be over the continents of the earth.
Then the beast king, the Antichrist, the "dragon", would be over it all, the whole thing forming a type of pyramid structure.

Some tidbits of history that many brethren haven't had much of a chance to be revealed to them...
We all know about Cain per Genesis 4 who murdered his brother Abel. And then Cain was booted out of God's Garden to the "land of Nod" where he took his wife, and built the first city.
Years ago I read a heavily documented book called Sargon The Magnificent, written by Sydney Bristowe. She researched the translations of Babylonian cuneiform tablets which Assyriologists translated, and included what she discovered in her book.
One of those Assyriologist translators she discovered had made the original translation of when Sargon, one of Semitic origin, first appeared among the ancient Sumerians, was 3800 B.C. But that Assyriologist later modified that original date because it disagreed with the theories of Assyriology in his day; Sayce I believe the translator's name was.
The 3800 B.C. date is very important, simply because per the Bible chronology that scholars like bishop James Ussher (17th century), in his work The Annals of the World, set the date for God forming the man Adam in His Garden at 4004 B.C. The 19th century Bible scholar E.W. Bullinger did the same Bible chronology from Lord Jesus back to the man Adam and came up with the same 4004 B.C. date. Why is that important?
It is because 4004 B.C. is only 204 years difference from the 3800 B.C. original date for Sargon appearing among the ancient Sumerians (which ancient Sumer would later become ancient Babylon).
Also, the Babylonian cuneiform stone tablets include a 'creation account' which is much older than the Old Testament writings of Genesis through Moses. And sadly, some Christian pastors believe it is the original creation account, instead of Genesis.
In reality though, the Babylonian creation account is riddled with pagan ideology. And the tablets described Sargon as being the 'son of Bel', or son of the dragon. With Sargon appearing among the ancient Sumerians, he built the first city there, and gave the Sumerians knowledge of the sciences and canal building, and who basically caused ancient Babylon to become one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Sargon also instituted the very first IDOL worship recorded in history.
Sargon's metal death mask of what he looked like resides in the British museum.
Because of what the Assyriologists found in the ancient Babylonian tablets about ancient Sumer and Sargon, Bristowe surmised that Sargon was actually... the Cain of Genesis, and that ancient Sumer was the Biblical "land of Nod".

and YET , yes YET , there is no doubt in my mind the coming of the LORD does draw nigh .
Now why would i say that if i aint pre trib nor hold to that doctrine .
Because had we simply been reading the bible for ourselves and learning and loving the pure and holy truth

Pretty close. Babylon is not ancient Jerusalem or Rome, but a contemporary entity, insomuch as it makes the merchants of the earth rich and fornicates with the kings of the earth.
It was the Roman empire that made the merchants rich in their time, but they hardly could be condemned for doing what was their nature. It certainly can’t apply to the Jews at Christ’s first advent, because they weren’t even allowed to enter the homes of the heathen without being ostracized by their countrymen.
Any condemnation for fornicating with the kings of the earth and enriching the merchants must be against an entity that is not supposed to be doing such a thing, which leaves out the Romans and the Jews in Christ’s time, which destroys the preterist perception of the prophecy.
The only entity that can be condemned for fornicating with the kings of the earth and enriching the merchants is the covenant people of God, which makes mystery Babylon a contemporary phenomenon, insomuch as the merchants fell along with Rome and were personae non gratae under the authority of the Papacy during feudal times.
It was at the rise of Protestantism that secularized society when the merchants were enriched in modern times, fulfilling the prophecy that Babylon fornicates with the kings and the earth and which leads to the enrichment of the merchants, which we see today.
It’s also conveyed by the condemnation to the contemporary church, Laodicea,
Revelation 3
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
We certainly live in the Laodicean era, the last church era.

Not quite. The three groups in the parable are the bride, the goats and those who are saved out of the nations when Christ returns.
The only sound interpretation is that the sheep represent the nations, as distinct from the bride Jerusalem. After all they, the nations, have a place in the eternal kingdom, distinct from the bride/Jerusalem. Their kings bring their glory to the city,
Revelation 21
23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
24 By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
Furthermore, the bride is described as a nation, singular, and not in the plural,
1 Peter 2
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Matthew 21

You’re just crying because I exposed your twisted interpretation of Revelation. America came up as a lamb but it speaks as a dragon now through the globalists who have been in power for some time. With the populist rising we are witnessing the possibility of the breakdown between church and state and the inevitable image to the first beast, the papacy.
I’m grateful that I was born in a country that rose as a lamb, in which the representatives were servants to the people, but that is not what it represents today.
Like I said, your twisted interpretation that scarlet beast is Satan is exposed because it wouldn’t be helpful in solving the riddle of Revelation 17:9-11, insomuch as Satan WAS before all the kings.
You never did answer my question. Insomuch as you hold the sixth king as the “Roman emperor Domitian,” how does the antichrist reign before Domitian? Revelation 17:9-11 definitely maintains the scarlet beast WAS before the sixth king. You still refuse to answer that.

Only someone who twists scripture would try to invent a third group being present at the judgment besides those represented by the sheep and the goats. The least of these of Christ's brethren are among the sheep. The sheep represent His people (see John 10) and His brethren are those who obey God (Matthew 12:50), so the least of these His brethren are counted among the sheep.
Right off the bat Doug Batchelor fails to account for the history of the papacy that suppressed the merchants from rising. I was actually the apostate part of Protestantism, those who had defiled their garments in Sardis, that facilitated the rise of the of the merchants by their intercourse with the kings of the earth, which secularized society so they could become rich and increased with goods.
The RC is not Babylon.

Historicists have interpreted the seven churches as historic as well as prophetic for two hundred years, to your ignorance. Then again, they know Revelation is the mediation of Christ and it's about the history of the Church; he prophesied about the inter-advent age.
The really dumb idea is the belief Christ returns to separate the bride from the goats when he sits on earth, when he already separated them when the angels gathered them together with Christ in the clouds before they return to earth (1 Thessalonians 4"16-17}.

They were actual first century churches in the Roman province of Asia. That's it. To turn them into anything else is a blatant case of twisting scripture.

They are not separated as if they are all mixed together when brought before His throne for judgment. The sheep and goats are already in separate groups at that point, but they are then brought before the throne and separated in the sense of the sheep being placed on His right hand and the goats on His left hand.
Your opinion means nothing to me, and I'm sure others here feel the same. As I said, for over two hundred years Protestant scholars have interpreted them as prophetic also, with outstanding reasoning that thwarts your small thinking.
