Matthew 7:15-20

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

The fruits of the Spirit: Every true believer knows what the fruits of the spirit are by memory, like the ten commandments. If you don't know those two things, you can't see them in the mirror. Start there!

Among the gifts of the Holy Spirit are the gifts of discernment and knowledge and if we trust Him he will show us.

How to spot a Heretic?

Well, here is the thing reader..

Sometimes a person who is religious but lost is a heretic.
Sometimes someone who is born again for 70 yrs is a heretic., and they are going to preach from the PULPIT next Saturday or Sunday, again.

How do you spot a heretic?

A.) The most defining situation regarding a heretic (Paul's term) that you have to learn to recognize instantly..... is always discovered by looking carefully at what they BELIEVE. = Saves them, and Keeps them saved.

Now , Use this spiritual filter that Paul gave you in Galatians , to SEE THEM and HEAR THEM on Forums, on TV, and in the Pulpit and in Commentaries and on Youtube and on Internet sites.

AA.) """Fallen from Grace.""""

Reader, God's Grace is THE Cross of Christ ....where God met You and your FAITH with eternal forgiveness,= by putting your sins on Jesus and by Imputing or charging to you, Christ's Righteousness.

See, The Cross, is where God provides HIS requirment to Save YOU, forever.

Now see that word : FOREVER ?????????????????????????

That is the KEY of Keys, when understanding and determining if a Chrisitan is a Heretic.......as they will not accept, and they will LOUDLY refuse to believe that Jesus who saved them := Keeps them saved.

They will sound like this........

"Yes, i KNOW that Jesus SAVED ME......but now i have to ...... I have to.. I have to.....do this, and this and confess this, and be careful and not do that, or that, or ........any of the SELF EFFORT WORKS i have on my LIST that i am trying to keep to try to keep myself saved".

See that?
That is every Christian Heretic....will be "fallen from Grace"......and that is how they sound.

They do not believe that Jesus the Etermal SAVIOR.. "keeps them saved"... and they will not accept it, and will always loudly proclaim their lack of faith.

So.........Learn to HEAR THEM, as that is their "FRUIT".

Maybe you should worry more about whether or not you're a true believer rather than worrying who else.may or may not be. The same is true for me btw.

This is what I read as the fruits of the Spirit being;
Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I look for the fruit of the Spirit, yes, and the other evidences of his work in a person's life (conviction, strengthening, teaching, transformation, comfort, Christ-like love of the brethren, hunger for God's word, a desire for holiness, etc.), I know God's Truth well, too, and I know how to think well. Altogether, these things thoroughly equip me to distinguish the "wolf in sheeps' clothing."

What you just described are the characteristices the likes of Jimmy and Tammy Faye Bakker, Jimmy was convicted of felon, look them up, another Jimmy, Jimmy Swaggart and others like, Robert Tilton. There are many others.

Why do you make the point of "knowing God's Truth well, too", and "knowing how to think well"? Was my post offensive to your thinking that you would need to speak as if in defense of yourself? What's that about?

When the bible teaches us that the truth will set us free, it's referring to recieving truth by way of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things. The truth John reveals in the book of Revelation is inspired by the Holy Spirit, that revelation showed that his fruit set him free and apart from the evil the Greeks could have imagined doing to him and how much John gave of himself to reveal to all generations afterward the Glory of Jesus in and at the end of this age.

Christians who are set free don't compromise their faith in Jesus when nobody's watching. If they are compromisers and luke warm, Jesus will spew them out of His mouth, and Jesus makes sure it is to the churches He sends that message to.

You have revealed your lack of discernment, a fruit or gift of the Holy Spirit, who allows us to discern someone true spirit. Yet you did not use the term because I'm assuming you don't have the gift of discernment. You would have said, the Holy Spirit revealed God's truth to me.

When God Judges He will not have need of "other evidences", your words, God judges the heart.

1 Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Plus of course Holy Spirit discernment.

??? I don't follow what you're saying here...

Why do you make the point of "knowing God's Truth well, too", and "knowing how to think well"? Was my post offensive to your thinking that you would need to speak as if in defense of yourself? What's that about?

No, I didn't think your post was offensive. I was just throwing in my "two cents."

I mentioned knowing Scripture well and being able to think well because these are both essential to good discernment.

When the bible teaches us that the truth will set us free, it's referring to recieving truth by way of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things.

John 8:31-36
31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
"
33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free'?"
34 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.
35 "The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.
36 "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

I'm not seeing in this passage the bit you mentioned about "receiving truth by way of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things." In fact, Jesus clarifies that by "the truth will make you free" what he meant was that he would make them free - and free indeed (vs. 36). This is a reference to his role as "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (Jn. 1:29) which is made evident from his remarks in verses 34 and 35 concerning sin and slavery to it.

You're right, though, that the Holy Spirit is our Teacher (Jn. 14:26; 16:14; 1 Cor. 2:10-16). But he is in tandem with our knowledge of God's word and our skill in thinking well (which is learned, not innate).

Christians who are set free don't compromise their faith in Jesus when nobody's watching. If they are compromisers and luke warm, Jesus will spew them out of His mouth, and Jesus makes sure it is to the churches He sends that message to.

Well, born-again people shouldn't compromise their faith, but the NT is filled with remarks to believers who were doing just that. See 1 Corinthians 3, 5, 6, 11, or Galatians 3-5, or Romans 6, or Revelation 2-3. It was also the apostle John who wrote, "If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us," (1 Jn. 1:8). So, he didn't think a perfectly uncompromising life as a Christian was possible, though, he did expect that, in the main, Christians were not living habitually in sin.

You have revealed your lack of discernment, a fruit or gift of the Holy Spirit, who allows us to discern someone true spirit. Yet you did not use the term because I'm assuming you don't have the gift of discernment. You would have said, the Holy Spirit revealed God's truth to me.

??? Well, you're entitled to your opinion...

When God Judges He will not have need of "other evidences", your words, God judges the heart.

Yes, He does. Yours, too, right?

You again personalize and glorify your good thinking and good knowledge and then, rightfully so, you place the value of a few cents to it. I certainly agree with you on that.

All the huff and puff you so divided up is nothing more than a cover up. Jesus didn't say what He said regarding truth as a way to say He will give it to you. He said it as a way to say that you accept the lie because you are a slave to sin with something to hide, and the only way to be set free from the bondage of sin is to be born from above. You obviously are not born again. If you were, you would know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God and if you hear the word of God, you would accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and recieve the Holy Spirit in your life as a demonstration of your repentance, having been set free from your sin, and allowing your body to not participate with the harlotries of sin, but rather become the temple of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13

13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

You answerd my original post with a fight attitude because the truth offended you. You felt exposed, for what reason I don't care to know, and your two cents worth of nothing is what you wanted to offer to say you don't need truth because of your good knowledge and good inking and other &!@#$ was all you needed. You self righteous sinner you. Then you took every paragraph I wrote, again, to prove you're as slick as a prosecutor and can challenge that the Holy Spirit is NOT "The Spirit of truth", nor can He guide me to the truth, why it's only Jesus who gives it to me, SO THERE.

All that to show your religion, whatever it is, isn't worth two cents.

“How can you know who the TRUE believer is?”

Simple.

This is how you know someone’s NOT.

If they believe ANY of the following, they are not walking the narrow path of Christ — they’re marching headlong down the wide road of deception:

1. They believe modern Jewish converts — who deny Christ — are still “God’s chosen people,” even though Scripture says there is no covenant without the Son.
2. They claim there’s a separate plan of salvation for Rothschild’s manufactured, False Israel™.
3. They think the Church is just a “parenthesis” — not the fulfillment of God’s promise.
4. They say Jesus came to set up a kingdom but he failed.
5. They teach the Kingdom of God was postponed.
6. They’re waiting for a blasphemous third temple to restart animal sacrifices with temple floors soaked in blood.
7. They support red heifers and blood rituals — as if Jesus’ blood wasn’t enough.
8. They call modern False Israel™ the “fulfillment of prophecy” — even though it rejects Christ.
9. They treat the Old Covenant as if it’s still active — despite Hebrews calling it obsolete.
10. They say Jews don’t need Jesus — because “God will deal with them later.”
11. They treat the Scofield Bible like it’s scripture.
12. They claim God has two brides — Israel and the Church — instead of one Body in Christ.
13. They believe in a pre-trib rapture escape hatch — even though Jesus said we must endure to the end.
14. They think Revelation is a Zionist codebook — instead of a Revelation of Christ.
15. They twist Scripture to defend a nation of dirt — instead of proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven, which is not of this world.
16. They refuse to preach repentance — because “we’re in the Age of Grace.”
17. They say obedience doesn’t matter — just “pray the prayer and you’re in.”
18. They call obedience “legalism” — but treat sin like it’s already paid for, no matter what.
19. They mock the Sermon on the Mount as “for another dispensation.”
20. They quote Paul out of context — to cancel the words of Jesus Himself.
21. They use “rightly dividing” like a scalpel — to butcher the Gospel.
22. They support literal war, death, and bloodshed — all in the name of “prophecy.”
23. They exalt ethnic bloodlines over being born again by the Spirit.
24. They believe Jesus will return to reign over a Jewish law-based millennium — with animal sacrifices, temple rituals, and priesthoods — as if the Cross never happened.
25. They deny that the Body of Christ is Israel — even though scripture says those in Christ are Abraham’s seed, the true children of promise, and the one olive tree of God, whether Jew or Gentile (Romans 9, 11; Galatians 3:16–29; Ephesians 2:12–16).

You’ll know them by their fruits.
And if their fruit is Scofieldian delusion, dispensational deception, and Zionist idolatry —
they’re not following the Lamb.
They’re following the lie.

What's nasty is your narsistic, I'm a victim, it isn't me doing this honest. You got kicked hard by the truth that the Holy Spirit 'IS' the spirit of truth and rather than referring to Jesus word, you cover it up by saying I'm having a bad day, when it's a reflection of your day and it's two cent value. Even now you keep trying to kick the !@#$% you started under a loud carpet that reads "NASTY" and then point to me as though it's my carpet and my dirt YOU'RE hiding it under. Live with it.

THIS IS A GOOD THING TO REMEMBER WHEN THINGS GET HEATED HERE: The "bad fruit" is name calling, and repeated accusations, etc.
