I hope everyone had a good Easter.
I made it to Church, I was in a lot of pain but was determined to go.
It's a lot of walking on the crutches but it's good for me.
I'm going to go every Sunday now.
I'm also doing physical therapy twice a week and have exercises that I can do at home.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. There are many things weighing on me but I know God is in control and he will never leave me. If anyone else has a prayer request feel free to post it.

I got my own leg pumps Wednesday to use at home, they are just like the ones at the clinic. I used them yesterday for an hour.
Today I walked on my own for the first time since I had the blood clot. I went from the kitchen to the living room and back.

Today I walked on my own for the first time since I had the blood clot. I went from the kitchen to the living room and back.

The leg pumps are for lymphedema, to get the fluid moving and reduce swelling.
I was only able to walk the one time, Friday for a short distance.
I have tried since but it is too painful.
I did do physical therapy today and they are giving me some more difficult exercises.
When I can walk again without pain I will do some more.
I can use some prayers I'm facing a lot of uncertainty and money issues.

The insurance company denied my long term disability claim because they say it's a preexisting condition.
But I was able to walk today using only a cane so I'm hopeful that I will eventually be able to go back to work in some capacity

My mother suddenly had dementia come on and I have been staying with her for a week. She lives 70 miles away from me. I have had to cancel my physical therapy. I have several doctors appointments and other things I have to do, I have no idea how I will get them done, I can't leave her by herself.
It could take months to get her in a nursing home.
My leave ended yesterday and I will have to go on COBRA for health insurance. It's $875 a month.
I can't get on my wife's insurance until October.
I haven't been paid since December.
My wife went to pick up my Eliquis which I have been getting for $10 a month and they rejected the coupon I was using so it's $600 for a months supply.
I'm doing without it. I did leave a message with my doctor to see if she can prescribe something else.
I still have blood clots and they could break loose
I'm sleeping in a recliner and there's nothing on TV but Gunsmoke and Walker Texas Ranger
Someone got my mother's debit card number and cleaned out her checking account of several thousand dollars. She has $7 dollars left in her account.

About TV....try watching America's Got Talent on Tuesday nights... it's really good. Also Monday nights, there's a cooking competition called Yes Chef. I enjoy it. There's an old movie channel and also Grit TV which shows classic Westerns with famous old actors.

They should have caught the fraud. The charges are for crypto currency. There have never been any charges like this before then suddenly there are several charges a day adding up to thousands for over a month. My bank notifies me if there is one suspicious transaction.
I did get the debit card cancelled and contested the charges.
Her social security check will automatically be deposited on the 3rd, she has 3 checks left and they wouldn't let me order checks because they said they would be out of sequence. I'm going to get that straightened out today. No one ever lost a checkbook before?
I can't do anything online or with the helpline because my information doesn't match what they have.

I only have free TV....I use an antenna. America's Got Talent is on NBC Tuesdays. I think the Yes Chef show is on NBC too.

That's terrible about the bank not catching those charges.
