Give God the glory, indeed!
Give WHO the GLORY . as you well said and often say and how i enjoy to hear that reminder , Give GOD
the GLORY .
IF i call GOD a liar , tell me amadeus DOES THAT GIVE HIM the GLORY . the short answer , NO
the long answer HECK NO .
If one believes Not the TESTIMONY that GOD ALL MIGHTY , THE CREATOR of all that is , Gave about the SON
THEY DO call GOD a liar .
And the truth is not in THEM .

Doing well today. Naomi seemed fussier than usual this morning and I was a bit flustered but decided to lean into making sure I drank my water and had a real meal with protein before going to sit with her.

That turned out to be the right decision because I then easily got through picking up the nursery, the living room, and putting on a load of laundry. Waddling at 38 weeks pregnant I consider this a win.

Now Im taking a break but bathtime, cleaning the kitchen, and putting laundry away will have me all set for the big day tomorrow where Ill start labor for Ozaias.

Today was another peaceful and happy day. I saw my husband off at 3am and he began another day of truck driving.

The apartment is mostly clean. Hubby's new chessboard sits proudly in the middle of the coffee table and my knitting project rests beside it.

We talk on and off all day via phone and in person when he gets back. Lunch is steak, broccoli, cauliflower, and jasmine rice.

Then I take off to Whole Foods Market, a swanky type of U.S grocery chain. I found some natural-ish shampoo, conditioner, and soap for us to try. Im not picky. I like big bottles of cheap product.

But Hubs wants certain chemicals off the products.

I also am planning a beef stew so I get two pounds of chuck beef.

Tomorrow I will need to go to a different store and get ingredients for homemade cornbread, beef stew, and command strips for the decorations my in-laws gave us.

How was your day?
Good evening to you all, it is always good to be grateful.

Love, Walter And Debbie

I have a meeting tomorrow to meet for training for volunteering for hospitality at church and I want to go to the church service before the meeting so tomorrow's quite great except it will be raining so I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I hope I meet people I know and get to fellowship.

Good morning, Sister. We are happy to hear of your activities. We are well and grateful. How are you all today? We are seeking His kingdom first, after prayer, drinking enough water, having breakfast, and coffee, and getting on the internet, trying to rightly divide the words of truth as much as We can.

Love, Walter And Debbie

St Patrick's day tomorrow...

Remove any snakes lately?

How about wearing green?
Corned beef and cabbage?
Green beer?
Irish whiskey or coffee?

Any plans?

There's a story...

My wife (while we were engaged) declared her strong dislike of corned beef. I thought she was kidding....she liked all kinds of luncheon meats and corned beef and or pastrami seemed like Natural extensions of her normal taste profile.
But she hated it. I cooked it once but she refused to eat any.

So I made it one more time but this time I went the whole way with horseradish sauce, potatoes, and cabbage. Then I directed how she ate it. The smells, sensations, and flavors all told to her what to focus on.

She had already declared her dislike for cabbage and the way I made the potatoes...

But for me she did as directed.....and it became her instant favorite meal. She tastes love in every bite....and the food she once thought was the worst was now her most loved.

Then came covid quarantines....and our local Kroger had whole briskets on sale. So I bought one and cured it and cut it up.

She told me she never wanted the store bought corned beef ever again. She only wanted brisket I personally had corned. (The flavor is much better)

So....
Today we had the meal. Invited my dad over to share it with us. (Also fresh baked sourdough) Had green tea with it.
So good....my wife loves my horseradish sauce...eats it on the potatoes too....lol. my dad did NOT disapprove the meal either.

Good stuff....just a lot of love everywhere. Everyone had a good time.

My day was kinda rough.
Went back to the doctor cause the antibiotics didn't do the trick so I got new scripts and TWO shots in the backside.
Did get the shingles but I'm gonna need to cut them. Found some siding planks but they were sold out. Uggghhhh.

Then went home and accidentally took a nap. Meant to just chill for a minute.
So I was very far behind. Didn't do anything outside to get ready to work on the roof. Didn't seek out the cedar shake shingles.
Got my sourdough starter fed.
I made the breakfast sausage, marinated the boneless ribs. Got the potatoes peeled and chopped for some mash. Then got the green peas ready to cook.

The peas I grew in my garden. Hadn't grown green peas since I was a teenager. Loved the fresh green peas then...so I thought these would be great....they weren't that sweet and were kinda woody. Dunno if I picked them too early, too late, or did I not water them enough or what went wrong....and these are supposed to be a super sweet variety.

All that work for a handful of peas and then they weren't that good. Uggghhhh. Maybe I live too far south. Don't know.

Otherwise the sausage is great. The boneless ribs good and the mashed potatoes were good.

However by backside still hurts from the shots and I'm still tired. (Gotta go get drugs from the pharmacy tomorrow because the doc didn't turn them in right away. )

Oh yeah....also lost one of the receipts from material purchases for the house. Uggghhhh

Just bummed....but walking pneumonia will do that to a person too.

Tomorrow need to get haircut appointments for my dad and I. Pick up my drugs. Also need to pick some herbs and make pesto. Then feed the starter again. Then see if I can make the second roof hopper, pick up dad's extension ladder. Attach the ladder roof hook and tie off point.

No rest for the wicked.

At some point I might stop, order and pickup the pressure washer and garden hoses I need....maybe see if there's a soap attachment and extra hose attachments for the pressure washer.

I hate being sick....too busy to be sick.
