For context, I'm 19 years old and male. A lot of my peers (including me) play video games, but where our similarities end is in the nature of what exactly we play. At one point in my younger teenage years (maybe 13-15?) I played a video game called Grand Theft Auto but stopped abruptly after. Never once have thoughts of homosexuality or sexual conduct in general really notably crossed my mind. I'm a teenager, of course I know about and understand sex, but the idea of actually partaking in it has never truly been something I've been too invested in, and I'm proud of that milestone against lust. And I would consider myself strictly heterosexual/straight. Until these recurring dreams started.

These dreams are usually almost entirely the same. One of the main protagonists from the game I mentioned earlier and I usually have some form of intercourse. I won't go into too many details for the sake of both my self respect and your mental wellbeing, but they're far from standard and don't seem very 'loving' at all, usually revolving around some form of disrespect being passed to me during the act. I doubt this could be a sign that I need to find a partner or work on my life - this feels more lustful than anything else. Don't exactly know why this particular character considering last time I touched the game chances are I couldn't even drive, but dreams are very strange sometimes so I'll excuse that particular bit. I looked up his name (I believe it's Trevor) and didn't find any direct ties to Satan or even the Bible as a whole.

This dream is certainly lustful, and I can't find any way to make it stop before I get tempted and potentially do something rash. If anyone could interpret what exactly (most likely) Satan or some other being is trying to tell me and what this spells for my future, because I'm beginning to grow accustomed to and even comforted by these dreams which is not good at all lol. I don't trust my judgement enough to go with my interpretation (something from my past/childhood is trying to turn me away from God).

TL;DR: Having a questionable/lustful dream that I believe Satan has some part in???

I have often wished that the sexual motivation came later in life. And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos... It would be nice if we had a hundred years to prepare for wife and family. As far as sexual desire I am afraid it comes early in life and is a matter of physiology rather than spirituality. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. - Galatians 5:16. I would say keeping occupied is your best bet here.

Your generation has seen a lot more than my generation, over 70 yrs old. The bombardment of ads and movies and tv shows depicting gay agendas have been normalized. This, plus school manipulation. This plays into the psychology of young minds, and its "grooming" you, to acceptance of a lifestyle. It is not satanic, more demonic. Without knowing it, it has influenced your thinking and caused your subconscious to react. Prayer is the only cure, and turn off TV shows, and movies, and realize this affects your subconscious

That's the thing. The game itself is possibly the least homosexual thing I've ever seen and I go to a Catholic school that's almost in the middle of nowhere, so I have no choice but to think this came from the devil. I pray every day, and I feel like there is some sort of message somewhere in the dream, but I don't exactly understand whether it's literal or more figurative hmmx1:hmmx1:hmmx1: I do not want to discredit your advice at all - it's very valid, and I for sure see where you are coming from, but there are so many elements that I believe have some sort of deeper meaning throughout the dream. I feel like praying can help, but can't reveal exactly what is wrong with me Obviously, due to the more modern elements of certain parts of the dream (i.e. video games), there's no Bible verse I can find that fits my situation correctly without just establishing that lust is wrong.

If someone is catholic that gives the devil an open door to come in to your thoughts anytime he wants and they can't do anything about it.

Those that get born again, filled with the Real Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ have power and authority over devil and they cast them out

From the OP:

Satan Trying to Contact Me Through Dream?

YES, he is.

I played a video game called Grand Theft Auto but stopped abruptly after. Never once have thoughts of homosexuality or sexual conduct in general really notably crossed my mind.
It only takes one time for one open door to appear, for Satan to gain the legal foothold he requires to oppress. (GTA is incredibly violent. And subliminals and rituals are running throughout the production, being spoken over you. There is far more going on with those vid's than you know.)

"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes" (Psalm 101:3) and "take heed what ye hear" (Mark 4:24). IOW, discerning believers know that there are things they are not to look at, and things they are not to listen to.

I would consider myself strictly heterosexual/straight. Until these recurring dreams started.
Again, once a spiritual door has been opened, all bets are off.

One of the main protagonists from the game I mentioned earlier and I usually have some form of intercourse.
Of course, because that's what you're doing when you play "the game." You have given over your emotions to "the game." Satan, the most subtle beast of the field, is cleverly vying for your free-will choice, to be acquiesced in his direction. The more you "play," the more you will "pay."

...some form of disrespect being passed to me during the act...this feels more lustful than anything else...didn't find any direct ties to Satan or even the Bible as a whole.
It's encouraging that you have not yet lost all your discernment.

That's a very astute observation of EXACTLY what is going on. Keep playing and you will get more addicted and lustful and alienated from God - until he gives you over to what you have shown you prefer (Romans 1:24-32).

I am involved in a deliverance ministry and deal with devils of addictions often. The devils (aka "demons") of addiction are powerful and work in teams/gangs to keep you in their bondage loop. If you don't get this by now, understand that vid games are satanic BY DESIGN. God is not in them. Get away from them now if you do not want to spend eternity separated from your Father...

1) confess your addiction to God
2) repent (turn away from it); detest the sin
3) ask for forgiveness
4) cast out the devil(s) of vid's from yourself, in Jesus' name.

Opinions and "emotions" count for NADA. Bust out your knee pads and get before The King right now, while you still can. High time to start practicing spiritual warfare; start using the power you've been given as a child of The Most High God.

Godspeed, brother.

Catholic church's have rituals that are contrary to God's word. It seems innocent, but God's word and action do not need added onto. Still the devil is comfortable in church's that don't do what God's word says and adds to it. Resist the devil in all places. Like I said, your generation has been desensitized on many demonic positions, and you don't realize it, because its in your subconscious. Talk to someone older that remembers growing up and seeing movies and tv shows where women are women and men are men. You didn't see same sex kissing each other, that's the devil grooming you. Video games are also the devil's playground. What should you be doing, instead spending hours playing games. What life skill have you learnt?

Hello all. Wanted to give a quick update on how the game situation is going.

As previously mentioned, I gave up the game a long time ago. Precisely why this dream was so cryptic. The dream only encouraged me to delete my copy off of my computer and pray, as well as keep moving forwards on my journey to abstinence. I am satisfied with the progress I've made, but the dreams haven't gone away. I've attempted to go on sleep medications to avoid dreaming and hopefully just be fast asleep and undisturbed, but, as I've found out, dreams on sleep medication aren't particularly pleasant.

I've tried to remain strong through these dreams. After all, such harsh behaviors (to put it very simply) during something meant to be pure and beautiful and between only a man and a woman should disgust most. But I feel like my willpower is fading. Something inside me wants to give in for some reason or another, so all I can do is remain strong and keep praying and abstaining like I've always done. I want to be able to confess to my local priest, but I've found myself too ashamed to do so. Every detail makes me feel dirty, to put it as best as I can. I know he can help me, but I feel such shame at the thought of sleeping with another man and especially the nature of said sleeping.

Thanks to everyone who advised me. I will always appreciate your feedback and guidance for helping lead me out of this time and I wish you all stay strong.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ ...firstly as your Savior, and also as your Lord? That is first and foremost.

I would advise you to be sure you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior, and then ask Him why these dreams are happening. Is it rooted in some past wounding that God wants to address with you? Be willing to ask Him to help you get to the root that is causing these recurring dreams. Scripturally, you know it isn't a message to tell you that it's God's plan for you participant in such behaviors.

Dreams try to tell you something from your subconciousness. Your reaction fits the symbolism of the dream itself. You fear being gay. Trevor is a manifestation of that fear. He's an ugly man with perverse sexuality e.g

Dreams are manifestations of unsolved conflict within yourself. It's not satanic, it's from within yourself. Trevor is a strong symbol. He's ugly and very sinful. A manifestation of your fear to sin.
The exact fear, you describe.
It seems like if you doubt your sexuality, based on that dream, but you can't stop it. Let me try to analyze.

Sexual orientation is a very strong catalyst of inner conflict if supressed.
I've known many queer Christians, that emotionally break, thinking their natural desires, make them sinners.
Yes there are Biblical laws forbidding homosexuality. There are also laws against bacon cheeseburgers.
Jesus never spoke a word about gay people, that's how important it is for being Christian. Not relevant at all. So if you feel like attraction extends beyond women, or you fall in love with a man or sth like that, it will not condemn you to hell. Just chill, love your neighbor and stay in the light. Have no fear. You don't seem to sin anyway, neither with a man or a woman.
As long as Christ is in the center of a relationship, based on real love, God is with it, regardless of gender. Just don't sin against the highest law to love God and your neighbor.

No...I just wanted to call it the 'game situation' since it refers to, you know, dreams involving a video game character. It's not a game, that's just what I'm calling it for the sake of brevity.

Does the "game situation" involve praying to the dead and twirling rosary beads?

That's false doctrine and is not taught or accepted by the Lord.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm just trying to come up with a quick and concise name for such a large problem instead of referring to it as something vague or long and tedious. I would love to know if you have any ideas for names that wouldn't be false doctrine to refer to this dilemma that would be accepted by the Lord.

Salvation is only by Jesus. Pray directly to Jesus and ask for His salvation in your life. You see, the devil does not want you to know this, that you only need to pray directly to Jesus to save you. It's free.

that wouldn't be false doctrine

Catholicism is false doctrine so that';s the first thing that needs to go in your quest to get victory over darkness.

I never receive clear instructions or even any instructions

God has already provided instructions in His Word, so your prayers have already been answered.

Now all ya gotta do is learn the New Testament, and start with this:

James 1:5-8

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Be careful to NOT read commentaries and instead ask the Lord to show you where in His Word that you can find the answers to questions you have because God's Word provides HIS commentary

If you read commentaries of man then that is the pathway to deception in these endtimes where deception is so widespread.
