Paul was being accused of saying the law was done away with.
Paul did not do away with the law
[Rom 3:31 KJV] 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Paul preached how the law was still in effect
[1Ti 1:8 KJV] 8 But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully;
Paul showed how the law was fulfilled
[Rom 13:8, 10 KJV] 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. ... 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.
[Gal 5:14 KJV] 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Paul believed all that was written in the law and the prophets.
[Act 24:14 KJV] 14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
Just as Paul was being falsely accused of denying the law, so are we who believe what Paul preaches and teaches are accused of saying that the words of Jesus are of none effect. We do not set aside the words of Jesus, but we acknowledge that the words of Christ to us are conveyed in Paul's epistles.
