That's the comment that intends to divide.
It's the reality which is presented in the Word and it's also the many warnings which the Apostles warn every believer who heard the original Gospel. If anything Panda that warning needs to be louder than ever!
That statement is an example of a contradictory fallacy
“For there must be divisions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized.” 1 Corinth 11:19

Another reality.

You don't understand!

Ez. 18:4 says the soul that sins shall die. That supports what I said about how a soul [spirit] can die a spiritual death, which means eternal life separated from God in Hell due to sin.

 your referencing the resurrected Christ

Yes, because Who better than Jesus to tell you that spirits don't have flesh and bones (Lk. 24:39), and thus spirits, such as the soul, are incorporeal, and thus immortal, which means "not subject to physical death".

Man is formed from the earth:
  • "The first man was from the earth, a man of dust." —1 Corinthians 15:47
  • "Dust you are, and to dust you shall return." —Genesis 3:19
  • "Man shall return to the dust." —Job 34:14–15
  • "He remembers that we are dust." —Psalm 103:14

Correct. Again, what are bones? A proof of the power of God Who made man with dust, but nothing else. Therefore, it's the physical body that returns to dust (Gen. 3:19, Ecc. 3:20).

Again, Gen. 2:7 goes on to say, "[...] and breathed upon his face the breath of life [...]". The act of having "breathed the breath of life upon" indicates giving man something. In Jn. 4:24, we read, "God is Spirit", and thus the "breath of life" is the breath of God which is the soul [a spirit], the soul as life. It is the breath of the Spirit of God that becomes a living spirit in man: God's image and likeness (Gen. 1:26). This wonderful thing which is a soul, a thing created by God to give man His image and likeness as an unquestionable sign of His Most Holy Paternity, shows signs of the qualities characteristic of Him Who creates it. It is therefore intelligent, spiritual, free, immortal, and so on, like the Father Who created it.

Again, "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: as the spirit [soul] shall return to God Who gave it" (Ecc. 12:7). This means that upon physical death, a person's immortal soul [spirit] will return to God for judgment (Heb. 9:27, Matt. 12:46-37, 2 Cor. 5:10), where that soul is either judged to have won eternal life with God in Heaven, or eternal life separated from God in Hell.

The apostles did not promote division in the body of Christ.

That is not of Christ and his teachings.
1 Corinthians 12:27

It is also in conflict with the prayer of Jesus in John 17.

Correct - when a person sins they receive death as per the divine decree!
That supports what I said about how a soul [spirit] can die a spiritual death, which means eternal life separated from God in Hell due to sin.
Hell is merely the grave!

Again, flesh life dies along with all your thoughts and feelings.

Yes, because Who better than Jesus to tell you that spirits don't have flesh and bones (Lk. 24:39), and thus spirits, such as the soul, are incorporeal, and thus immortal, which means "not subject to physical death".

Jesus became immortal - he had nothing in him which was immortal before he died and was raised.

Correct. Again, what are bones? A proof of the power of God Who made man with dust, but nothing else. Therefore, it's the physical body that returns to dust (Gen. 3:19, Ecc. 3:20).

Bones are the framework which holds the body together - you ask dumb questions!

Again, Gen. 2:7 goes on to say, "[...] and breathed upon his face the breath of life [...]".
Correct, man became a living breathing creature no different in nature to the animals.

gain, "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: as the spirit [soul] shall return to God Who gave it" (Ecc.
Ecclesiastes teaches the constitution of man is vanity and corrupts back to the dust from which he was taken.

@pandaflower

Paul’s comment that there will be “heresies” should not lead us to become indifferent to problems in the church. Instead, it should remind us that how we respond to these issues, by turning to Scripture and acting in a Christlike way, is part of our spiritual growth. It is through thoughtful, biblical engagement with such challenges that we learn to think and behave more like Jesus.

I'm stating a fact that not everything Jesus did was written (Jn. 21:25), nor was everything He was going to say and do in the future written.

Trying to quote anything Jesus said that was not inspired by the Holy Spirit to be put in to God's Word is speculation.

The fact of the matter is God controlled what went in to His Canon and put the things in that He wanted man to know and what He needed man to know. Those seeking extra biblical sources do not trust the Lord because they don't actually know Him.

Enjoy all that extra biblical deception the old devil strapped on catholics such as praying to mary, twirling rosary beads, the brown scapular fairy tales, the purgatory deception, cheering on the cat on the collar as he does the hocus pocus magic trick claiming it turn the crackers and juice in to the LITERAL Blood and Flesh of Jesus at communion as though catholics are cannibals and vampires, along with all the other false doctrines catholics engage in

It's another level of pride and arrogancy to claim God forgot to include essential doctrines in His Word

This of course is not true and catholics will learn the hard way in the end concerning the error of their ways.

And, I said that the Christian (catholic) Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, officially declared and reaffirmed the Christian Canon

Obviously that is an untrue statement as catholics never affirmed God's Word in the first place, much less reaffirmed

If they did they would actually follow God's Word and quit following all the extra biblical deceptions they are teaching now.

Which were NOT practiced by the Apostles as they started the Church of Jesus Christ which is known as the Body of Christ and not "catholic" seeing Jesus and His Apostles never said anything about "catholic"

The thing is I'm aware of the catholic scam so you may be able to fool others with the chicanery and subterfuge but it doesn't work on me pal so you'll have better luck with others. coffee:

History has revealed as much. Over the past 500 years it's gradually been losing its power in the earth, however, make no mistake, it will endeavor to claim it back soon.

I have a friend who was also raised in the Roman Catholic Church, and he once told me that the impact it had on his thinking is something he doesn't believe can be fully undone this side of the Kingdom age. He's constantly having to re-evaluate how he sees things, which can be quite frustrating for him at times. I feel for those who have come through that system. God is good for opening your heart and mind...many won't allow Him.

Correct

God has already judged the evil workings of the RCC/Vatican and HE calls us to "Come out of her My people"
Not only does He call us to come out of her
He calls us to warn against any place , person or etc
that seduces this people . As we read in revelation .
Those who KNOW a place , a doctrine , a person , is false
have a duty to both warn and to correct those in such an error .
And to warn the brethern of such who are dangerous and teach deadly doctrines .
This church age fell in love with the wrong verion of judge not
aka meaning to name not , to correct not . that was a deadly mistake on their part
as we see that leaven left uncorrected
has only brought more leaven into such places .
ON the day of the LORD
you will not , i will not , no man will stand before their preachers and their doctrines
WE ALL STAND before GOD .
And many will find out too little and too late IT was NOT GOD they followed
it was but men who twisted things and used HIS name .

We do need to pray for this man .
I can easily tell you why he is having such a problem .
Because he does not WANT to let it go .
HE needs to simply let it all go and not try and hold onto it .
He is struggling , he is in a strait place , having a desire to know the truth but also having that desire to remain
in that place . If he remains HE will be decieved and given over to the lie .
My advice is we pray for him
and you must speak truth to him . We must be co helpers to the truth .
Help him to understand the dangerous of sitting the fence , trying to remain .

Remind him .
On the day of judgment not you , not me , not anyone
will stand before our denomination , our pastor , our etc
WE WILL STAND before THE HOLY GOD , HIS CHRIST .
THUS its to HE WHO OWE all . Its to HE whom we ought to obey
and to test all men against HIS words .
HIS WORDS will be the judge . not mans words , not the popes , not the protestants
HIS words . Let us be in prayer for him as well . I desire the death of none
even if they hate me . THUS the only one i can POINT them to , IS JESUS the CHRIST , IS his doctrine
is The words of TRUTH . Let us be in prayer my friend .
