I wouldn't be in a hurry determining who believes and who doesn't. Appearances are deceptive.
From my perspective, those who are gracious yet espouse no faith are closer in faith than those who blow their trumpets of piety loudly yet sit in judgement of their fellow man.

who they are does not matter, (God knows who they are. I do not need to know) what matters is will God keep his promise.

1st off.. In order for prophecy to continue, there must be a temple built
2nd. In order for prophecy to continue there must be sacrifice and burnt offering in progress
3rd, If this is happening, it means we have jews, who are still enemies of the gospel. in their land..
4th. This all must take place so that the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet can happen. As a sign to the people in the land that they need to run. because then their will be great tribulation not seen before or will not be seen after (much worse that WW2 which is the greatest tribulation this planet has seen) and it is this that starts Israel on a path to seeing the truth, which will lead to their repentance at the return of Christ.
The bible say they will be in sin until they repent. which is right before Jesus returns..
Paul calls them hated concerning the gospel. but beloved concerning the election. The gift and calling of God are irrevokable
God gave abraham Isaac and Jacob two gits.
1. A great nation
2. A plot of land (small as it may be)
that gift is based on Gods promise. not on what they do to earn it. no one could earn it. any more than we can earn our gift of salvation (be we being jew or Gentile) which is by grace through faith..
