Just saw this.
You say that falling from grace is not the idea of falling from salvation.

Salvation is Jesus on The Cross.

We can't do that for ourselves, because Christ did it, already, 2000 yrs ago on THe Cross = and said It is "FINISHED".
All we can do, is receive by faith from GOD, what Christ has died as an eternal sacrifice to God to create.. = SALVATION.

And its ETERNAL.

Notice.....>"Jesus is the ONE TIME ETERNAL Sacrifice for sin".

Salvation is ETERNAL Life who is JESUS on the inside of us.

So, when we receive God's Salvation that Christ died to create....., its eternal, and has nothing to do with how we behave, because we received it "while we were yet sinners".

There is no....."well, now that i received eternal salvation as a sinner, i have to now live by a higher standard to keep it".

==================================================================================================

And to abide in Christ............

Notice that this says to be "IN" Christ.........inside CHRIST.........so, how do you get INSIDE of JESUS to abide there?
Not by behavior. Not by commandment keeping.......Not by water baptism.

So the same way you get INSIDE OF JESUS.........is the say way you abide there forever.

Jesus stated that we possibly will NOT abide IN HIM forever.

Jesus stated that those IN HIM could be cast out, taken away, severed....
set aside, dried and put to burn.

John 15:2
2“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away;

Please note:
Branches IN JESUS (believers are IN JESUS) that do NOT BEAR FRUIT....
God takes away.

Jesus gave a CONDITION for abiding in Him.
A condition YOU do not seem to agree with.
The condition is that we are TO DO something...
we are to bear fruit.

Jesus did not teach FAITH ALONE.

The idea of faith alone is a new idea....
it did NOT exist at the time of Jesus or immediately thereafter.

A believer, that does not bear fruit, can be TAKEN AWAY by God.

Taken away and burned:
John 15:6
6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

ONLY believers are IN JESUS.
If THEY do not bear fruit...
they are TAKEN AWAY
and burned.

You are misunderstanding these verses. what you are sayingf is that sins jesus already forgave, He unforgives.

One who was born agaqin- becomes un-born again.
One who was made a child of God- becomes an un child
One who has been perfected is now made unperfected.
One who it is written that Jesus will complete the work started- He no longer will.
One who was given eternal life- wasn't really given eternal life.
One who was made a new creature and the old one was passewd away- the old one was resurrected
ALL of our sins are forgiven when we come to Jesus in Baptism (Acts 2:38-39).
Any FUTURE sins we commit AFTER coming to Christ must be repented of - because, as we read in Scripture:

1 John 1:8

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

James 5:16
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

This falsehood that every future sin is “automatically” forgiven is a man-made invention. We STILL need to ask for forgiveness.

And it is also a falsehood to believe that Christians don’t sin.
Romans 8 sims that up . . .

THe words of Jesus will always apply to believers or unbelievers, as does the entire word of God.

But when we are talking specifics........specifically the Body of Christ, that began with The Cross of Christ.....then we are not dealing primarity with what Jesus told the JEWS......before He was crucified.

This has to be understood and realized or the bible student can't understand Church doctrine, or the Epistles correctly.

See, THE CROSS, changed everything..... It brought in a NEW Covenant, and a NEW TESTAMENT,.
So, what we do, is .......when we read verses in the bible that were given before the Cross was Raised, then we have to "rightly divided" the verse, by seeing how it applies to The Cross. We have to see these "pre-Cross" verses IN LIGHT of The Cross.
In other words.......THE CROSS started a NEW TESTAMENT and this is now God dealing with Gentiles, and the Body of Christ.......untill the Tribulation starts.

So, in this "TIME of the GENTILES".. there is specific Doctrine given by PAUL, to the body of Christ, as Paul is the only "Apostle to the Gentiles" and the body of Christ (the NT Church) is mostly : GENTILES.
The cross was the fulfilment of the new covenant for Jews and Gentiles (Jer 33) There is always a jewish remnant according to the election of grace.

Not really. the second death will come to all who have rejected Jesus.

God does not give eternal life. and a promise they will never die. and he will never leave nor forsake. and he will never let them go. to people who do not have true faith.

Salvation can not be lost because it can not be earned
The people Juse is speaking of are already twice dead so it cannot be referring to the GWT judgement

Right after the Rapture the Trib is going to Start.
So, this means that the "time of the Gentiles" has ended and God is resuming His dealing with the JEW as well as the unbelievers.

You can scream and wail all you like, "(again no works)" those are YOUR words. Every time you read the word "faith" that Paul has written that includes a faith that is completed by works. Why? Because you can see a man is saved by works AND not by faith alone. Why? Because faith without works is dead. A dead battery in your car wont get you to work and a dead faith (without works) wont get you to heaven. Opps. keep crying though its amusing.
lol

So the words NO WORK. NOT OF WORKS. mean absolutely nothing to you

I am not screaming dude. I am trying to highlight pauls words. the words you continue to refuse to acknowledge.

Yes. Faith without works is dead.

why? TRUE FAITH WORKS.

If I do not have TRUE faith, I can cry until I am blue in the faith I have faith. It will not make it real. and I will not be saved.

how can I determine if I have saving faith? Do I have the works paul said EVERYONE will have?

James did not call you to be a fruit inspector,

Nor did he tell you to try to save yourself by your works

James was trying to get the attention of people who said they had faith. but had no evidence they were saved at all.

Sadly, Paul is preaching to the religious personl. thinking they are saved because of their works. and you are totally ignoring him.

Why not take my word for it ?
why not prove to me you believed it?
I am not your slave.

Besides we have been there .
interpretation

I can't prove it. so I will not

it seems all legalists end up to this point. they claim they believe something, yet when push comes to shove, they either can not explain it. or they deny it (like denying they teach a works based salvation)

Very interesting concept.

IF we're saved by the grace of God.....

and we fall from His grace....

how could we possibly be saved??
Its simple. Grace is in your hands, all you have to do is reach out and grab it, to receive it in faith.

Its like God has you by the hands, Your almost to that place where your ready to recieve him and recieve the gift. But right before you get their, you let go. and fall back to the ground in unbelief

You fell from Grace.

Matt 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Yhis is talking to those alive during the tribulation period. It speaks of having their physical life saved. Not their eternal life.
How is it not ?

Jesus demands to keep the faith till the end.
Jesus would never have to say this, Because he knows who has real faith. when you actually trust God and are saved by him, and actually see his power and his work. you would NEVER even think of rejecting his salvation and saying no thank you God. I no longer want saved.

(plus John said they were never saved to begin with)
No !

What a strange connection you make.

1Joh 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Joh 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Joh 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
lol

The law requires perfection

The wage of sin is death

You going to confess your sin will not cause the eternal forgiveness of that sin. Only the cross can

Either your sins are forgiven, or they are not

If they are. your saved COMPLETELY)

if not. if any of your sin past present or future is not yet forgiven

Your still lost and on your way to hell

The people Juse is speaking of are already twice dead so it cannot be referring to the GWT judgement
THEY WERE NEVER SAVED.

Lets look at the whole passage in context.

Jude
4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

1. They crept in unnoticed

2. They were long ago marked out for condemnation
3. They turn the Grace of God into licentiousness
4. THEY DENY GOD AND JESUS

so they were never saved. period

lets move on

Old apostates

5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Present apostates

8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

Apostates Depraved and Doomed

12 These are Spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

so what does it say about these people?

1. The defile the flesh
2. they reject authority
3. they speak evil of men in charge, when even Michael would not bring an accusation against satan
they corrupt themselves.
4. They have gone the error of Balaam, who perished in the rebellion of Korah
5. They are spots on our love feasts serving only their own greedy lusts, and do not care about you]
6. They are clouds without water *can not produce rain)
Late autumn trees who do not produce fruit, because they are dead. who are twice dead because they were pulled up from the roots.
7. Like raging waves foaming up their own shame

8 They are reserved for blackness of darkness forever.

prophecy concerning these people

14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

They will be judged. they are ungodly, ands committed ungodly deeds in an ungodly way

Apostates Predicted

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

The apostles warned us of these people
1. These are the mockers in the last day
2. They walk according to their ungoldly lusts
3. they are sensual persons
4. They cause division
5. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT

and you want me to believe these people were saved and lost their salvation?

Romans 8 sims that up . . .
TOu obviously do not understand the difference between our position in Jesus and our daily experience in this body of sin and death.

Those sins have been erased judiciously, but we do need to acknowledge them as is commanded in 1 John 1:9.

Sin does not keep a believer out of heaven, nor does it send an unbeliever to the lake of fire. It is the rejection of Jesus that sends a person to the lake of fire.

By rejecting Gods propitiation for ones sins, they then are required to pay for them themselves.

Remember Hebrews:

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

In Gods sight we are perfect- now He is making us what He has declared.

Colossians 3:3-4

King James Version

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

John 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Once again, this does not give a license to live horrendously, but to grow in the grace and knowledge of jesus.

Yhis is talking to those alive during the tribulation period. It speaks of having their physical life saved. Not their eternal life.

False, let's check context.

Matt 24:10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
Matt 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Matt 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
Matt 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

And -

Matt 13:20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,
Matt 13:21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

Hebr 3:14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

2Tim 2:12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us;

Rev 2:10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Rev 2:26 The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations,

Need more?

lol

The law requires perfection

What Law ?

I live under the new covenant of Christ.

Luke 22:20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

Are you a believer of hyper-grace?

I ask because of your various strange reactions every time the subject is sin, as in this case, when I quoted 1 John 1:8-10

1Joh 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Your still lost and on your way to hell

WOW, Wow, wow............

False, let's check context.

Matt 24:10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
Matt 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Matt 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

Rev 2:26 The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations,

Need more?
your putting people under law

Your saying unless we do something, we will die in our sins.

nice try..

matt 24 is about the end times.

so yes. i am correct in what I said.

What Law ?

I live under the new covenant of Christ.
Your eityher under grace or your under law

there is no other way to heaven

sadly. No one has kept the law. So Christ took the curse of the law on his body so you could be set free from the curse of the law and be saved.

If your going to try top earn salvation by your works. then you are in essence under the law
Luke 22:20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

Are you a believer of hyper-grace?
I am a believer in grace.

For it is by grace I have been saved through faith (it is a completed action. nothing more needs to be done Now I can focus on maturing in christ)

Not of myself it is the gift of god. not of works

so why do you reject grace by adding works?

Again, pauls words

Rom 11: 6 And IF BY GRACE, THAN IT IS NO LONGER OF WORKS, ; otherwise GRACE IS NO LONGER GRACE.
But IF IT IS OF WORKS, THEN IT IS NO LONGER OF GRACE. OTHERWISE WORK IS NO LONGER WORK

AS i HAVE SAID NUMEROUS TIME, GRACE + WORKS = WORKS.. GRACE AND WORKS CAN NOT MIX IN THE AREA OF salvation.

I ask because of your various strange reactions every time the subject is sin, as in this case, when I quoted 1 John 1:8-10

1Joh 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Joh 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

And you respond with :
lol. Those verses are an improper response to my question to begin with. so I refocused you on the origional question.

How ?

Is there no need to confess your sins whenever you do?
The law required the spilt blood of an innocent animal. You confessing a sin will not give you redemption from that sin, If it is not paid for by the blood of redemption. You are still dead in your sins.. Confess until your blue in the face. it will not cause one sin to be removed from your debt.
WOW, Wow, wow............

The gospel following EG :

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him --- and believe in OSAS --- should not perish but have eternal life.
No.

The gospel according to EG is this

For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM, will NEVER PERISH (they will literally never die again) and they will LIVE FOREVER (how many more ways does jesus need to epxlain that the one saved will never die. m,eaning they will never lose salvation.

Face it. Jesus taught eternal security, EG is just following the promise of Jesus

But lets look art your gospel

For God so loved the world. that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him, and gets baptized. and follows my commands. and confesses their sins when they sin, and (you get the picture) MAY never die. and has conditional life.

Making OSAS a salvation issue, ridiculous and dangerous, at least your version of it.
It is a salvation issue, because it goes to the promise of God

is your faith in God and his promise that you will never die. and you will live forever.

or is your faith in yourself and how good you think you are and how many good deeds you do. and your ability to not fall away.

You need to get out of whatever church you attend, and start to study the word.

This is truly a perverted view of God’s forgiveness . . .

Heb. 10:14 is NOT about the idea that we are perfect and cannot get any better. That’s what “perfect” means. It clearly says:
Heb. 10:14

For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

We are BEING sanctified. This means we are BEING made holy and perfect. “… has made perfect” in this sense is that “He has made complete provision” (past tense) for us. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense to add, “those who are being sanctified
(present tense).

In Matt. 6, Jesus Himself taught the following condition about forgiveness:
Matt. 6:14-15

For IF you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do NOT forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Born-again John tells his born-again readers:
1 John 1:9

If WE confess OUR sins, he is faithful and just to forgive US OUR sins and to cleanse US from all unrighteousness.

We need to confess our sins WHENEVER we sin . . .

THEY WERE NEVER SAVED.
THEY WERE SAVED AND FELL FROM GRACE THIS IS WHY THEY ARE TWICE DEAD

4. THEY DENY GOD AND JESUS

so they were never saved. period
They were saved but like Judas they fell from their place and rejected God.They crept in unnoticed because they at one time had a testimony but they turned the Grace of God into licentiousness...you see they had grace but perverted it

They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;
Yes they are TWICE dead (because they were born again but fell away) and plucked up by their roots that at one time were in Messiah.
The apostles warned us of these people
Yes, we were warned lest we fall into the same condemnation
1. These are the mockers in the last day
Look at some of the mockers on this board to see it can come from christians
2. They walk according to their ungoldly lusts
as all that fall from grace do
3. they are sensual persons
Because they do not have the spirit
4. They cause division
Just like those that create all these denominations we have today
5. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT
Because they have fallen away and become reprobate
and you want me to believe these people were saved and lost their salvation?
If you have eyes to see you can see they were at one time.

Jesus said that IF we do not abide in Him we will not be able to do anything and will be like the branches that are taken away and dried up and burned.
John 15:5-6
5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing *.
6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

Agreed again.
Paul says there's more to life FOR US.
FOR US.
For those who believe....
BELIEVE is always in the present tense.
We must be believing at the time of our death.
We must endure till the end.

Matthew 24:44
44 "For this reason you also must be ready; for the
Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

Matthew 24:13
13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

Why do you suppose Jesus teaches to BE READY IF we're saved already now and forever?
IF salvation were a one time event,,,,Jesus would not have stated this...
there would have been no reason to.

The one who is warned to endure to the end…
Is a believer.
Is not Yet Saved.
Is being warned to continue Believing to the moment of his bodily Death.

IF that person does THAT …
THEN… God will Save his soul.

1 Thes 4:
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

The believing Confessed / surrendered / Baptized by: The Lamb of God…
ARE Saved.
The Warning is Not for Them.
They ARE IN Christ.
They ARE raised up by the Lords Command and Power. (Rapture)
No…. “IF”…just “Shall”.

1 Thes 4:
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

to complement, here are the words of Jesus and from Revelations that confirm the believer must endure to the end to be saved—not just believe once, but remain faithful until death.

Jesus said, But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13; Mark 13:13). These words were spoken to His followers. It shows that salvation is not something finished at the start of faith, but only given at the end—if they endure.

Jesus also said, “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered” (John 15:6). These are people already “in Him”—believers—but if they stop remaining in Him, they are cut off and destroyed.

Jesus warned, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom, but he who does the will of My Father” (Matthew 7:21). Believing is not enough—only those who keep doing God’s will are saved.

In Revelation, Jesus told the church, “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10). The reward comes after death, not before, and only if they remain faithful.

He also said, “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life” (Revelation 3:5). This means names can be removed from the Book—salvation can be lost if one doesn’t overcome.

And finally, “He who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations”(Revelation 2:26). Jesus gives reward only to those who keep His works to the end.

All these verses prove the same truth:
And Behold, the one being warned is a believer, is not yet saved, and must continue in faith and obedience until the moment of death.

I will add again;

Enduring Faith in the Parable of the Sower: Salvation Conditional Upon Perseverance

The teachings of Jesus consistently affirm that salvation is not granted at the beginning of faith, but is the reward for those who remain faithful to the end. This core truth is embedded deeply in His parables, especially in the Parable of the Sower, which appears in all three Synoptic Gospels—Matthew 13:3–23, Mark 4:3–20, and Luke 8:5–15. In this parable, Jesus describes four types of hearers who receive the word of God, but only one type is ultimately saved. This reveals the spiritual journey of the believer and the conditions for entering the kingdom of God.

Jesus tells of a sower who casts seed, which represents the word of God. Some seed falls by the wayside and is devoured by birds—these are those who hear the word, but it is taken away before it can grow. Others fall on rocky ground—these receive the word with joy and believe for a time, but when trials, temptation, or persecution arise, they fall away. Some seed falls among thorns and is choked by the cares, riches, and pleasures of life, so that no fruit is brought to maturity. But the seed that falls on good ground represents those who, having heard the word with a good heart, keep it, and bear fruit with patience.

The central truth of this parable is that not all who begin in faith are saved in the end. The second group in particular—the rocky soil—represents those who believe initially. Luke 8:13 says, “They believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.” This directly contradicts any claim that salvation is eternally secured at the moment of belief. If someone can believe for a time and then fall away, then it is clear that salvation is conditional upon remaining in the faith.

The thorny ground, too, illustrates believers who begin with promise but allow worldly distractions to crowd out their devotion. These do not reject the word outwardly, but their divided loyalty makes them spiritually fruitless. Jesus is showing that mere belief without endurance and obedience does not lead to salvation. He is not describing unbelievers here—He is warning those who begin in faith but do not continue in it.

The final group—the good ground—are those who not only hear and receive the word, but continue in it. They endure patiently, persevere through trials, and bear fruit. Matthew 13:23 adds that they “indeed bear fruit and produce: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Fruitfulness is not measured by initial excitement or confession, but by lasting obedience and endurance.

This parable must be read alongside Jesus’ own words in Matthew 24:13, “He who endures to the end shall be saved.”The message is unmistakable. Salvation is not guaranteed by a moment of belief, but by a life that holds fast to the word of God, even through hardship, temptation, and worldly pressure. Only those who abide in Christ until the end will inherit the kingdom.

The theological conclusion is firm: the Parable of the Sower confirms that many who begin in faith may fall away, and that endurance in faith and obedience is necessary for salvation. Jesus does not teach that salvation is automatic upon belief; rather, He warns that the path is narrow, the trials are real, and only those who remain rooted in Him will be saved. In this, the parable is not simply a story—it is a divine warning and call to perseverance.
