I am the one being confused?
John was saying he was not the bride.
Are you confused about that?

He said he was the friend of the groom.
Meaning…
There will remain a future distinction in eternity between Jew and the rest.

One exception?
Church age.

For, in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Gentile.
No longer Jews nor gentiles...
That is the one exception.
Not the rule.

.
Yep you sound totally confused.

When you get out of that level, maybe then we can reason together.
If you are not in this level, then you are not under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

You've been deceived. I set it out plain for you
Do you believe the Church has replaced Israel?

Some here are advocating that.
It looked like you had just walked off of their campground.

Well?

Do you believe the Church has replaced Israel?

The church wasnt hidden, but the fact that the gentiles would be incorporated into the special called out ones wasnt clearly understood. The people Israel, Abrahams seed has always been the church, the called people from amongst other nations. Stephen called them the church in the wilderness Acts 7:38
Stephen was Jewish!
The first Church consisted of Jews!

Acts 6 reveals that context!

Acts 6:8-12
Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.
Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)—Jews of
Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia—who began to argue with Stephen.
But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.
Then they secretly persuaded some men to say, “We have heard Stephen speak blasphemous words against
Moses and against God.”
So they stirred up the people and the elders and the teachers of the law. They seized Stephen and brought him
before the Sanhedrin.
JEWISH! That was the audience Stephen was addressing!

In contrast to gentile believers..
Israel came from not only Abraham's seed.
But to be Israel one must be from the literal seed that included Isaac and Jacob!
But?
The Gentiles are of a different nature.
Not Israel.
But, Gentile Abraham’s seed!

The gentiles became the spiritual offspring of what Abraham was like when he first became a believer.
Abraham was a gentile!
The gentiles were following Abraham's example.

So, they are gentiles (just as Abraham was a gentile) when Abraham believed.
Gentiles who believe have become a type of spiritual offspring of gentile Abraham's model.

That does not mean gentiles have become Israel.
To do that?
It would require that they also have been of the seed of Isaac and Jacob!

Keep standing....

You are losing by refusing to read the meaning of what I posted.
Some people who disagree do not do so to be disagreeable.

Problem is....

Some use that as a rationale to not deal with the following.

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

1 Corinthians 14:20

There are many there be within even christendom that have surrended all to those two words .
YET have NO IDEA they themselves are and have been deceived .
There is a spinner of webs and within its all inclusive web it spins love strands
to bring all as one people , as one mind and one heart to the One who has been spinning these webs .
To the one who is at the center of all this deceptoin . AND that one is not GOD , though it has come
in under the guise it is him and its his love . THEY merge more and more now
under the shade of a paradise which exists ONLY in their minds .
Beleiving this is the love of God and the way to attain peace n safety in the world .
But they are and have been greatly deceived and have loved to have it so .
Heed not the men who have come in to very crafitly to down play the dire importance
of both knowing and learning , WHAT IS WRITTEN in the scrips .
No sirs and no mams , DO not heed the voice of any who cries
Ye cannot learn the bible for yourselves
Lest ye learn it under our methods , our greek , our hermes , our exegigis .
FOR THEY LIE TO YOU . this is only a method used to be able to have power and control
and to allure and to deceive this people right into their love web of upmost delusion .
Yes, there are many who are deceived but the great truth us that the Spirit of Truth has come to live in some of us to remove the lies we have believed and to replace them with truth.

It is so comforting to know the He is performing the work of sanctification within His hosts.

God said.... we have the mind of Christ. I believe Him. Actually I experience this truth each day. He also said that we are being transformed by the renewing of our mind. Christ's mind in exchange for our mind. Awesome!

I know whose mind I want to have. And I know the Divine surgeon Who is performing this crucial transplant. The Resident Spirit of our Creator.

The great truth is that the LORD'S words are continuing to be spoken by Him and heard by those of us who have ears to hear. These word's of God broaden our database of knowledge. This is a wonderful privilege to experience.

Those of us who are led by the Spirit into all truth are children of God. This blows my mind when I meditate on the work of the Spirit gifted to us by our loving kind Father in heaven. He really does love His children.

Addendum to the opening post for clarification.

Israel is not just any group of Abraham’s children. Abraham had more than one son. He had Ishmael through Hagar, and other sons later through Keturah, but God made it clear that His covenant promise would continue only through Isaac, the son born to Sarah in her old age. Then, from Isaac’s two sons, God chose Jacob, not Esau. Jacob’s name was changed by God to Israel, and his twelve sons became the fathers of the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel. This means that to be counted as part of Israel in the physical, family sense, you had to be a descendant from Abraham through Isaac, and then through Jacob. Many people can claim to be Abraham’s children, but not all can claim the name “Israel” unless they come from this very exact family line.

Gentiles, on the other hand, are of a different origin. They are not born into Jacob’s family line and do not become Israel by natural descent. Yet, God had already planned from the very beginning to bless all nations through Abraham. This was part of His covenant promise — that through Abraham’s seed, the whole world would be blessed. This “seed” is not just his descendants in general, but is fulfilled in one person: the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The promise is that through Jesus, forgiveness of sins and eternal life would be offered to all who believe, both Jew and Gentile. It is the promise of being made right with God, having His law written on the heart, receiving His Spirit, and being part of His Kingdom forever (Jeremiah 31:33–34; Isaiah 55:3; Ezekiel 36:26–27).

Jesus Himself gave a picture of this when He said, “I am the vine, you are the branches” (John 15:5). Israel can be seen as branches that grow naturally from that vine, for they are the people to whom the promises were first given. Those from the nations who believe in Him are like new branches placed upon the same vine, drawing life from the same source. The life of the vine is the covenant promise given by God, which includes His blessing, His protection, the gift of faith, and the everlasting inheritance of His Kingdom. In this way, both those of Israel by birth and those from the nations by faith are nourished by the same life in Christ, though they entered by different paths.

One day, God will fulfill all His promises to Israel as a nation, restoring them fully and giving them the land and blessings He spoke of long ago. This restoration means Israel will be brought back to their own land from all the nations (Ezekiel 36:24; Jeremiah 23:7–8), cleansed from sin (Ezekiel 36:25; Zechariah 13:1), filled with God’s Spirit (Ezekiel 36:27; Joel 2:28–29), and live in peace and abundance under the reign of the Messiah (Micah 4:1–4; Isaiah 11:6–9; Amos 9:13–15). These physical land promises and national blessings are for Israel alone, as God swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis 17:7–8; Genesis 26:3–4; Genesis 28:13–15). Yet the spiritual blessings — forgiveness, eternal life, and the joy of living under Messiah’s Kingdom — will be shared with believing Gentiles from every nation (Isaiah 56:6–8; Zechariah 14:16–19). In the end, though Israel and Gentiles have different beginnings, they will stand together in one redeemed family of faith, joined by the same Savior and the same eternal hope, and the nations will be blessed through Israel’s restoration, just as God promised from the beginning (Genesis 12:3; Genesis 22:18).

and Thank-you @GeneZ
