The Saved person, that Does Not produce Fruit (good works)…. Doesn’t lose his Salvation.(as you claim)…
He loses the Reward, he could have had…
IF he did service Glorifying to God
You have the person Losing His Salvation and Becoming cast into the Fire and Burned…
The complete Opposite from Scriptural Truth!
Warning…
Not a mystery.
Not what you claim!
1 Cor 3[a]
[15] If any
man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved;
2 John -1:
[8] Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
So you DO understand my post on why Jesus came to SAVE US
NOT
to give us rewards...
So why call me a gaslighter?
Perhaps you could read my post to you no. 2337
replying to THIS statement of yours:
No. They LOSE Rewards, Not Salvation, as you wrongly claim.
See Taken...YOU stated that we lose REWARDS and not salvation.
I posted scripture showing WHY Jesus came to us....
and it was not to teach us how to get rewards
but
How to become saved and spend time in heaven with God.
1 corinthians 3:13......
is speaking SPECIFICALLY about the missionary work that Paul and Apollos were doing and how we are to continue it.
If we don't do particularly well...we will still be heaven-bound.
2 John 1
I suppose you mean verses
7For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
8Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.
Please note that John is concerned about the deceived losing their FULL REWARD...
That would be SALVATION Taken....
NO NT writer was concerned about losing a reward...
they were concerned about our losing SALVATION.
Note the very next verses of what YOU posted: thanks again for your help....
2 John 1:9-11
9Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.
10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;
11for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.
Pay attention:
It states that IF we GO TOO FAR and DO NOT ABIDE in Christ....
we do not have God.
If we do not have God
we are NOT SAVED.
AND
it goes on to state that we are not to heed anyone bringing THIS TEACHING.
WHAT teaching?
That we are not to go too far...
That we are to abide (remain) in Christ.
Try some different verses Taken...
because you cannot fight the truth.
