Even the chair of the World Zionist Organization is calling Gaza a genocide. What is it supposed to prove, exactly? A bunch of videos strewn together with little to no context. Who knows if they're even from the Israel/Gaza conflict. What I do know is it starts off with a false premise: "Israel stole the land of the Palestinians in 1948." Full stop. Palestine was never a sovereign nation, and the Palestinians never owned it. It was a province of the Ottoman Empire, and they lost it when they sided with the Central Powers in World War 1. If the goal is ethnic cleansing, then why are 2.1 million Palestinians Israeli citizens who make up 21% of Israel's population?
Do you know that Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005, even forcibly relocating Israeli settlers to do it? They left Gaza alone to govern itself. The very first thing they did was elect Hamas into power. And the very first thing Hamas did was to fire rockets into Israel. The only reason Israel is in Gaza right now is because of repeated attacks, which culminated in the October 7th, 2023 attack. Have you seen the videos from that? Where is the outrage? When Israel is attacked, the world is silent. When Israel responds, they scream genocide.
Avrum Burg Calls on The Hague to Prosecute Israel for Crimes Against Humanity
In The National (Scotland), Avrum Burg—former Speaker of the Israeli Knesset and chair of the World Zionist Organization—urged one million Jews worldwide to file a collective legal appeal to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, accusing Israel of committing crimes against humanity. He framed it not as an attack on his people, but as a defense of Israel’s moral integrity. Burg wrote:
He further emphasized:“We need one million Jews… to file a joint appeal to the International Court of Justice in The Hague … A collective legal complaint against the State of Israel for crimes against humanity committed in our name and under the false banner of our Jewish identity… Turn to The Hague.” inkl
- This is not a rejection of the Jewish people, but a stand for the “soul” of Judaism.
- He asserted that Israel’s actions in Gaza—though committed in the name of Jews—are morally indefensible and must be challenged legally and collectively.
