This article says that Paul was talking about the rapture being the events in Matthew 24. Matthew 24 isnt the rapture. Its the gathering of believing Israel into the kingdom. If Matthew 24 is talking about the rapture, the rapture couldn't be a secret mystery. as Paul says it is.
Hello @Doug,[1Co 15:22-23 KJV] 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
They that are Christ's will be resurrected at his coming.........they that are Christ's are the believing remnant of Israel who believed on his name by the preaching of Peter and the disciples and are the ones resurrected in Matthew 24.......they arent the believers in the body of Christ............the body of Christ's rapture is not in view here.........the rapture was a mystery kept secret.................[1Co 15:51 KJV] 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,.
I think the link I suggested in reply#11, gives a though investigation into these three references, from 1 Thessalonians , 1 Corinthians & Matthew, and show that they were indeed the same event. They are not mysteries, for they are the subject of the prophets. I quoted two of them in reply#15. Isaiah 25:8 also says, 'Oh death where is thy sting', which intimates that someone is to escape death. The Lord Jesus also said, 'he that liveth and believeth in Me shall never die' (John 11:26). When He returns those that remain alive at His coming will never die.
I don't understand what you are referring to in the second of the entries above, for I made it clear that the hope of the church which is the Body of Christ is to be found in Colossians 3:4.
Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
our Lord and head.

Thank you
