Im not sure if we'll see our pets again. They are Gods creatures and I hope we will.
I do believe that animals can love us. I've always been a big fan of birds and have had many pet birds over the years. They've shown much affection towards me and have given me much joy.

This is my cockatiel named Cheeky posing for the camera. He loves me, loves a cuddle and loves to be scratched on his head and face. Usually fies to me on command, not always but. Also likes to play fight

This is my princess parrot which I call Frank. He doesn't like to be handled much but he still steps up onto my hand when i want him to and he likes perching on my shoulder, he plays around with me, I enjoy his singing, his antics and his company

This is a galah I had called Big Boy. He loved me, loved to be handled, loved a head scratch and cuddle but he didn't get along with the others and would attack them so I had to sell him unfortunately. I miss him but his in good hands now

I hope more people post pictures of their pets and tell us about them.

God bless

Jesus died to pay the redemption price for humans. There is no mention in the Bible of anyone dying to buy back the life rights of anmials, nor of a future resurrection of animals.

Christians have a future life as spirit beings living in heaven. No physical, flesh and bones animal can live in heaven. Heaven existed before the physical universe was created, and most likely exists in other dimensions which physical beings do not have access to. Whether or not resurrected Christians will be able and permitted to take on human form to interact with humans and animals living on the earth, remains to be seen.

I don't. This is supposed to be a Bible study forum!
That's right.
Animals are Gods creation.

Yes,I love my companion animals. And they are capable of love and compassion.
I do believe we will see each other again. Everything is of and from God. Our souls return to God. Theirs do too.

Their bodies return to dust, their souls return to God.
Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 WEB
(18) I said in my heart, “As for the sons of men, God tests them, so that they may see that they themselves are like animals.
(19) For that which happens to the sons of men happens to animals. Even one thing happens to them. As the one dies, so the other dies. Yes, they have all one breath; and man has no advantage over the animals: for all is vanity.
(20) All go to one place. All are from the dust, and all turn to dust again.
(21) Who knows the spirit of man, whether it goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, whether it goes downward to the earth?”

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Job 12:10

In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

Then they don't need redemption!

I think Jesus loved my pets much more than me!!!
