Jn 6:44

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No man can come here means no man has the ability to come to Christ. That cancels out the myth that man has a freewill,

It also means that no man has the ability to believe on Christ for Salvation. Because Christ equates believing on Him with coming to Him. Jn 6:64-65

64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

What about those Jesus says to them Jn 5:40

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Thats answered in Jn 6:44 they simply will not come because they cannot come unless the Power of God draws them and makes them willing

Ps 110:3

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

If and when one comes to believe on Christ willingly, the credit goes to Gods Power !

No man can come to Christ by his own freewill ability because by nature hes dead in trespasses and sins and without spiritual life and ability to do or act. So consequently he cant come and believe on Christ of himself, or of his own freewill.

According to Jesus words here can a man by his own freewill ability come to Christ ? Jn 6:65

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 2

Jesus invited all to come. Was He being True?

Much love!
No He didn't invite all indiscriminately. For instance He calls certain ones here Matt 11:

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

All are not like that. Was the lost pharisee like that ? Lk 18:10-12

10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

No He didn't invite all indiscriminately.
John 3:16 KJV
16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus invited all.

Was He True?

I'll give you a hint. God is always true. Jesus is "the truth".

I know you have your workarounds for this, I write for others.

Much love!

And all who call upon the Name of the LORD shall be saved.

Can anyone call upon Him? Or is this intentionally misleading??

Is God true?

Much love!

The whosoever is true, but Satan's minions will not even try to.

Before the Cross:

John 6:43-44 KJV
43) Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

After the Cross:

John 12:31-33 KJV
31) Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32) And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33) This he said, signifying what death he should die.

The cross changed things.

Much love!

So essentially you are saying that the Bible is written to sound like all can be saved except you don't think that's true? That there are those who cannot repent, cannot believe, are simply not able to?

"all who call upon the Name of the LORD shall be saved" except you, and you, and . . . oh . . . you . . . cannot call up Him. You aren't allowed, so you've been created to not." Is that the idea?

Much love!

No person can come to Christ by their own freewill !

Except:

John 1:11-13 KJV
11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

These are Active Voice verbs, something the person themself does. If God did it for them it would have to be written in Passive Voice verbs to be true.

The very grammar of this single verse refutes you. If you believe the Bible is True.

Much love!

So just ask yourself . . . we know people are disengenuous, but is God the same? I say, No, God is not disengenuous, which is really another word for dishonest.

Much love!

no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 2

Your verse simply means that its the Holy Spirit that draws a person to understand their need of Salvation.

Like this.

Jesus said........"If i be lifted up (on the Cross).... i will draw= all people to myself".

So, its the Holy Spirit that '"draws" all people To Christ, where they then make the decision to...

Trust

or to wait,

or to turn away.

This is explained in the NT as "coming to the KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH"........and that means the person is "enlightened" by the Holy Spirit to KNOW that they are a sinner and they need to be forgiven, and Jesus dying for their sin, is their Forgiveness.

Now, what will they DO?........What will they CHOOSE?

This is up to them., and God honors their choice, now and in enternity.
