The Bible we have is miraculous! It's coming to pass right before our eyes!
While I doubt it is dogmatically related, that is still terrible. I don't know how it affects a JW.
As far as it being [biased] crap, that is not the right answer. You can [also] get theological dogma from it that are contrarian to JW belief.
There are thousands of self professed Greek and Hebrew experts trying to rewrite our Bible, just like JW's!
Actually you give the JWs too much credit knowing any Greek or Hebrew. They are so poor in monetary terms that they claim to have no time to study the bible in its original languages.

Some Jws are poor because they are forbidden anything past a high school diploma. Many who joined later in life are not poor. The Watchtower is a multi billion dollar Corporation.
My Jw family is restricted from using their own Greek interlinear. I asked why, and was told it causes confusion among the members...
YES, it does when you see what they do the GREEK.
There is no comparison to the blatant bias in the nwt. It's a transliteration at best.

Yet that bias doesn't avoid 2 millenia old theology with medieval translation bias thrown. I do not believe the comfortably middle class generally join the JWs.
Even worse is their interpretations of any bible. God gives only 144,000 the afterlife later, and perhaps only Jesus is there without us. That or he is in soul sleep.

I find it curious that you would say that. The only way to defend the addition of the word, "other" 4 times in Colossians when it is clearly not in the Greek would be blatant bias.
My family-most definitely upper side of middle class and are all Jws.
Well yes, their interpretations are mainly cherry picked out of context verses twisted to fit another verse out of context and they form a new doctrine that way. Then, in their bible they will cross reference those two, so it appears that they did go together. magic tricks..
It's a sham and quite disturbing to do that to people.
Just the other day I read on their site that they teach that Jesus' soul went to heaven.. I am not sure what they're trying to pull there-- but they also teach that only Michael's "life force" went back to heaven so that he could be re-created...
It sounds like I make this stuff up!! I dont. haha-- it's all in writing. They make this stuff up as they go it seems. doublespeak is not abnormal either for them.
They took a typically English translation and made it crappier. There, I said it. I think upper middle for JWs?
Yes, I may similar beliefs in some ways, but most JW are unitarians who live in poverty of some sort. :)
