That's hard question. They twist so much that is IMPORTANT. Most of the time it's a simple case of cherry picking a verse to form an entire false doctrine.
I can make you a quick list but in no special order--
1) They deny that Jesus' death paid for our personal sins. Claim he only could pay for one man's sin-Adam
2) they teach that physically dying is how to pay for your own sins, so you are resurrected sinless because, you died.
3) Jesus- creature angel- Michael- and not to be worshiped .
4) Their "good news" aka gospel is of an invisible return of Jesus in 1914 with
5) Two flocks of Christians- born again and not born again
6) Communion is once a year and no one partakes- men are watching to keep count
7) Name of Jesus is not good enough for salvation- you must use Jehovah.
8) Teachings constantly changing and must teach and fully believe each one (always tossed)
9) Their leaders lord it over them
10) Legalism- manmade rules that you must obey
11) Hypocritical blood policy
12) Uneven scales- hypocrisy in general
13) Christians are antichrists
14) Their bible has many changes in order to fit to their teachings
15) Theocratic warfare- lying/withholding
16) Applying the 2-3 eye witness rule to pedophiles which has harmed so many children
17) Many False prophecies from get-go in 1800s
18) Spiritism is sprinkled through out their history
19) Pyramidology
20) Doublespeak used often (orwellian)
21) Shunning of anyone who disagrees with them after learning- but maintains faith in God and His Son
22) False idea of a 2nd chance for people over 1000 yrs to earn salvation on earth while JW elite rule with Christ and apostles from heaven
23) Teaching that deeds in this life don't matter since when you did you paid for your sins. not judged by deeds in this life but next life
24) Jesus leads only their leaders
26) Changing their own history in their books
25) They are the locusts from bottomless pit from rev 9- and their king is Abaddon = (Jesus). They are here to harm you since you are not sealed.

If it were only that simple. this is very serious- it is MIND CONTROL and their minds are bent so Nothing penetrates.
They suffer from cognitive dissonance, a form of rigid OCD, many fears, conspiracies, persecution complexes etc. Mental disorders are very common. This is not just another denomination- these people are victims of deliberate brainwashing techniques.
As long as they don't want TRUTH and continue to believe and teach those lies-- there is little anyone can do.
Plant seeds and pray is about it. It seems that the good Lord wants them to sincerely want HIS truth before He intervenes.

Well, all so called "christian" cults use the same techiques to trap people into their false theology.
This is Satanic.......in the sense that there is demonic power in play regarding cult theology, and this power seduces people into their teaching.

Paul teaches this as ....>"who has BEWITCHED you".. "so that you no longer obey the Truth".

Hebrews 13:9..... refers to these man made teachings as "doctrines of DEVILS" becasue they are all inspiried by the dark side.
They find people who are easily deceived, and they use the bible and demonic influence to bend their mind according to the Cult's theology using scriptures.
Or, they take actual Chrisitans, who are "faith weak"..= dont understand The Cross of Christ and the New Covenant, and they manipulate their belief system by using certain verses, that if you just read them......seem to teach what the Cult wants them to believe they teach.

One of the things that i teach my students is that the devil knows how to twist some verses so that the Chrisitan gets lost in them, and cant get out.
The Devil will take a person who does not understand their Salvation correctly, and He'll lead them to verses in the NT that drive them into a mental block so that they can't see past the false teaching.
What He also does is........He uses his people to teach verses that are not for the Christian as doctrine, and they use them as false doctrine, and because this is all dealing in the spirit realm.......the demonic is able to cause the verses being twisted to appear to be exactly what the cultist claims they mean.

For example, some verses in the NT are talking to unsaved HEBREWS.........yet a lot of Christians have been taught that these verses are for THEM.......so, they end up faith corrupted.

We also see this with Calvinism for example.........as a Calvinist has about 3 core verses, that they have been led to believe teach Calvinism, and yet they dont.

Yes, I watched that happen to my parents who were nominal Catholics told they couldn't understand the bible.. they left the church after a while .. I was a kid
Enter JWs- who bashed Catholics for not allowing the bible, and then did the same thing by letting them have a bible, but telling them only their leaders can understand it and you MUST obey them as if they are God--

It's is vital to know the truth and make every effort to seek His face. Or man will do it for you...

Wow the darkness owns you sir. Gods view on the matter of a cult is what will count in the end= A house divided( hundreds of confused trinity religions) will NOT stand.
The teachings of Jesus prove they are his 100%. You should learn them, all true followers are taught them. I feel sorry for ones in darkness so i like to help them. Here is a super important truth from Jesus all true followers live by daily=
Matthew 6:33-- Keep on seeking- FIRST- the kingdom and his( YHVH(Jehovah) Father) righteousness and all these things will be added( sustenance, covering, spirituality( Matt 5,6)--- Then those can accomplish this important truth from Jesus=John 4:22-24--If one does not do Matt 6:33--They cannot do John 4:22-24 either.
Sadly Jesus warned the world that these last days will be as Noah's day( 99.9% mislead in darkness)( Luke 17:26)
He warned as well, they would not know him( Father)John 15:20-21)
