I avoid doctors and tests of any kind. I trust the Lord. I had something for eight years that most people would have had surgery on....but I trust the Lord to keep me going and so far He has.
However since these crusty areas and one nickel sized area was smooth but raised up....and near the brain, I decided to have it checked. That way if it was something serious, I would have known but would have probably refused major treatment.
Nothing wrong with it, they had skin checks in the OT whether it be for leprosy or scall even.
Lev 13:2
When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then
he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests.
And ofcourse, back then they were brought to Aaron or one of his sons who the priests, whereas Jesus who is our high preist healed the same while he was on earth but also gave his disciples power to heal the same
Matt 10:8
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Sometimes it can be a difficult choice. Like, should I ask someone who says they are a discple of Christ to pray for me (over something that might not even be an illness)? Or should I have this thing checked out first before I ask for prayer concerning it?
On the one hand, if you did not get it checked out (but it was never made known, that this was a big nothing burger) those who prayed for your healing (which in this case, might not have manifested visually) since it was always just a harmless thing from the start) might have either thought their prayers might had not have been effective, or begin to blame you (or your lack of faith) and begin to exalt themselves above you as such who God has kept them healthy (unlike you) and so both ( you and the one who might be spiritually sick) could wrongly assume what might be happening there.
So there is nothing wrong with either being a physician (as was Luke) or even going to a physician, but if ever something was found to be wrong (and you know your own suffering as it relates to the same) and you are nothing bettered by them (as the story goes) but rather growing worse and going broke, its long past time to look to Christ.
It is good to know there was nothing for you to be concerned with from the beginning.
