OSAS finds its root in the teachings of John Calvin.
Not just Calvin, but the Reformed/Lutheran split is when you see it becoming a distinctive of certain churches. There have always been people who believed something like this, but it wasn't a sectarian issue until then.

And the calvinists got it from Augustine who got it from the gnostics

The gnostics got started when the original Apostles were still here as the devil used the gnostics to twist the Gospel which is what the devil always does.... twists God's Word

I am not American, did Robinson already confessed? Is his motive known?

The assassin was extremely left wing in his views... embracing the gay, transgender and furry lifestyles. Charlie Kirk was a Christian with conservative family values which he respectfully shared on college campuses.

The motive is obvious. The assassin's family said he went extremely far left and hated Charlie Kirk.

In our courts in the USA, even if people are obviously guilty (some caught in the act)...they still usually plead not guilty.

OSASers are some of the most judgmental people on Earth, speaking from years of debating with OSASers!

Speaking of JUDGMENTAL.
Not according to the OSAS peoples who claim we can all live in sin and still be saved.
More blindness from those OSAS demons...
One should not associate with the OSAS people in their personal lives cause they can suddenly turn evil at any given moment, anytime their personal demons lead them to do so. Sadly, those that teach the false doctrines of OSAS have fallen away from the Lord into heresy.
The OSAS peoples reject Jesus' sayings... and they pervert what the Lord Jesus said thru the Apostle Paul... to their own destruction. Sad.
Those that are peddling OSAS heresy aren't brethren... they are mouth pieces for Satan. Maybe someday you'll start accepting all that the Lord has to say concerning salvation and become a real Christian!
Are you this JUDGMENTAL as well? Do you also falsely accuse ALL Christians in the OSAS camp as promoting a license for sin/immorality, refer to them as demons and heretics and condemn them ALL to hell? :IDK:Now, enough with the hypocrisy and the anti-OSAS derangement syndrome and derailing this thread and let's get back to TOPIC. hmmx1:

Yes, OSASers!

What's the point of OSAS??? I don't know any unless OSASers are trying to convince each other.
I just demonstrated to you that NOSASers can be very judgmental. Are you simply disgarding that? OSAS or "preservation of the saints" (Psalm 37:28; Jude 1:1) culminates in assurance of salvation (1 John 5:13) which motivates me more to serve the Lord out of love and gratitude for what He has done for me. ✝️

Abusing God's grace as a license for immortality is detestable and is also unfathomable to me!

Prior to my conversion several years ago, while still attending the Roman Catholic church, I had absolutely no assurance of salvation, lived in fear and bondage to IN-security and was miserable! After receiving Jesus Christ through faith, I now have assurance of salvation. Praise God! tsml

If OSASers can NEVER be lost why do they need to assure each other?

So you weren't saved when Catholic?

Then why be concerned about it?

As one OSASER here commented, "If I died when I didn’t believe I would have gone to Heaven because there was One Time That I DID Believe.....that’s all it takes...."

VERY dangerous!

why would we judge? We have been saved and Have been given Gods promises.

If God will not judge us but has spared us, why would we judge?

No the truth judges those who do not share in that truth.. But thats the truth judging. Not people who believe in OSAS.

We are like the tax collector.. Will you become like one?

The apostle John said this person was never saved.

Just because someone says somethign does not make it true.

If we reject Gods truth, because one person did not understand it.. imagine what our eternity will be like.

I believe in eternal security of the believer, but I don't believe in eternal presumption. I'm not going to tell people they have eternal security when I don't infallibly know if they're saved or not.
So you weren't saved when Catholic?
NO.
Then why be concerned about it?
I'm no longer concerned with IN-security.
As one OSASER here commented, "If I died when I didn’t believe I would have gone to Heaven because there was One Time That I DID Believe.....that’s all it takes...."

I believe that saving belief in Christ continues to the end and is not some shallow, temporary belief that has no root, produces no fruit and withers away. There are dangerous beliefs that can be attached to both OSAS and NOSAS.

But OSASers keep reassuring each other like they're not really sure.

You forgot the Scripture.
