Good job on your English, man!All okay, just like you English is not my native language. I don't see myself posting on a Chinese forum after a year of intensive study and making sense.
Thanks GPSoberxp
speaks Chinese as their native language, so there's a language barrier.
do you use AI to translate the posts here? does it work well? But you can use Ai, a lot of people are using it.
Perhaps seeing more and listening to more, and exposing oneself to different things, will be of greater help to the understanding of the Bible.
I had the OP translated please let me know it it works or not.Maybe not that.
Maybe be those:"not everyone call the lord, and knows what they call"
LOL.
It works well than my English.do you use AI to translate the posts here? does it work well?
It works well as a Chinese, There is no wrong grammar.I had the OP translated please let me know it it works or not.

We don't even contribute our faith in Christ?Dear GodsGrace,
I just want to make two points a little clearer from my previous posts:
1). When I say "faith alone", I mean that a person contributes nothing toward their salvation and that especially includes their faith in Christ.
A person's faith in Christ is a gift from God that comes to them only after Christ places the Holy Spirit within them. The Spirit is given FIRST, then faith in Christ is produced when they hear the Word. No other result will happen.
Below is what Paul said to the babes (those called to be saints) in the Roman church. After Christ gave them the Early Rain, the small measure of the Holy Spirit gave each of them a "measure of faith".
Rom 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
You're going to have to do better than this...Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you (babes in the church), not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
So you agree that we hear the word and then we come to have faith in God and become saved? After the Romans received their faith by hearing the Word, they made a confession of faith and submitted to Christ's authority. No other result was possible (they could no longer call Jesus accursed).
1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit helps us to do what God would want us to do.2). After a person has faith, they will outwardly show it by the good works that they perform. However, those good works are not works that they can claim as their own. Those works are the works of Christ that He does through them. Christ is the one who causes them to "will and to do".
Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Right. When James said that a person will show their faith by their good works, he was saying that their good works are the outward evidence of their faith. If a believer doesn't have any good works, then their faith is dead (they have become unfaithful). With a dead faith, Christ is not producing good works through them.
Again, you have an incorrect understanding of what it means to have a measure of faith. So how does a babe have dead faith?
After Paul's death, the spirit of anti-Christ came into the babes in the church. Since all babes only have a measure of faith and because they remain spiritually blind & carnally minded, they are easy prey for Satan's deceptions. Satan's deceives them by masquerading as Christ and by teaching them his "another gospel" which mixes works with faith.
It sound to me like YOU are preaching a different gospel.2Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus (Satan), whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit (spirit of anti-Christ), which ye have not received, or another gospel (mixes works with faith), which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Yes sir. After a babe becomes apostate, they will no longer walk by faith or have works of faith. They have fallen from grace and their faith is dead.
But above you stated that a babe CAN become apostate. However, after a babe is converted, they will no longer be unfaithful. As a result, they will 100% of the time produce good works. They can do nothing else since Christ is causing them to "will and to do". They are now saved.

Could you read my post no. 271 and tell me what you think of it?I have known that question for a long time. It was in another forum about it. The post argued for a long time and very long long posts. At that time, I didn't know who was right.
Our work or good work not rely on ourselves.
Our work or good work rely on Christ who working in us.
That is faith by work.
We should consider whether we rely on Christ to working in us.
Not rely on what we call work of the flesh.for the work of the flesh, we always disagree with what the Christ teachings.
By flesh which is always in the storm center.
By Christ which is always in the peace.(Walking on water)
Yes, I agree milllions will, did you see the advancements in robotics, BMW is now replacing humans to assemble cars in their manufacturing plants, they use humanoid robots and they double up in speed about every 6 months, work long shifts before needing to recharge..And many more will be losing their jobs...
in the millions.
I see the same you see. Good reply post. I agreeWe don't even contribute our faith in Christ?
Doesn't Eph 2:8 state that we are saved by our faith?
Ephesians 2:8
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Also, let me clarify that, yes, we contribute NOTHING to our initial salvation except for our faith...
however, AFTER salvation, we are required to obey the commandments of God,,,the commandments Jesus left us with.
Jesus said that IF we love Him we will obey His commandments....
If we DO NOT obey His commandments it means we do not love Him...
and if we do not love Him...we are not loving God....and this is one of the 2 great commandments Jesus left with us....
LOVE GOD.
Matthew 22:37-39
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a]
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]
You're going to have to provide some verses that state that we get saved FIRST
and THEN
get saved.
Because if we have the Holy Spirit within us, it means we're saved.
Romans 8:9-10
9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Paul teaches, above, that a person that does not have the Spirit of Christ...does not belong to Him.
This means that if a person DOES have the Spirit, He DOES belong to God...
that person is ALREADY saved...according to you that person is not saved yet.
Paul repeats this teaching in
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
See Faithwilldo,,,,if the Spirit dwells in us....we are the temple of God...
at that point we become saved....
when the Spirit of God dwells in us.
I'm afraid you have it backwards....
first one hears and believes and then he becomes born again:
Romans 10:17
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God.
Faith is what saves.
Romans 1:7 states TO ALL WHO ARE BELOVED OF GOD IN ROME...CALLED AS SAINTS.
Yes. The saved are called to be saints.
Just as Paul states in verse 1 that HE was called to be an Apostle...
WE are not called to be Apostles, but we are called to be saints....which means set apart to work for God.
You're going to have to do better than this...
Romans 12:3 does not mean what you THINK it means.
God has given to each a measure of faith simply means that we are all part of the body of Christ and each one of us has his own task to fulfill. God has alotted to each one of us a measure of faith so as to carry out our task. Some will have more to do and some will have less to do.
So you agree that we hear the word and then we come to have faith in God and become saved?
And of course 1 Cor 12:3 is correct.
The Holy Spirit helps us to do what God would want us to do.
To say that Jesus is doing the works through us creates problems.
If we DO NOT do the work,,,
can we then hold Jesus responsible for our lack of good will?
If Jesus is responsible for our doing the good work...
He is also responsible if we DO NOT DO IT.
This puts all the responsibility on God....
even when we sin.
Right.
And it is JESUS' fault if we are not producing good works because up above you said that HE is doing all the works THROUGH US.
You have a real problem here.
Again, you have an incorrect understanding of what it means to have a measure of faith.
Incorrect theology leads to incorrect theology.
It sound to me like YOU are preaching a different gospel.
The gospel accepted by Christianity states that we
HEAR THE WORD
ACCEPT THE WORD
HAVE FAITH
BELIEVE
ARE SAVED
YOU, OTOH, are stating that we have to have faith and believe FIRST
and then get saved.
This is backwards.
And is not the gospel as is taught in the NT.
Yes sir.
Agreed.
Except that according to YOU....the apostacy will be due to Jesus non-actions and has nothing to do with the babe in Christ.
But above you stated that a babe CAN become apostate.
Your statements are conflicting.
I agree with you.Could you read my post no. 271 and tell me what you think of it?
We rely of the Holy Spirit to help us to do good works.
I'm familiar with the problem,BUT
Is it US doing the good work or is it the Holy Spirit??
There's a difference between the Holy Spirit helping us to do good works
and the Holy Spirit doing the good work.
Maybe you could clarify...
Dear GodsGrace,We don't even contribute our faith in Christ?
Amen my friend. Your last sentence is where I think the problem is for some. Faith in what HE HAS DONE. It's not that faith and works save us.. I would never word it that way as some do. Our Faith has to come first.= Faith in Jesus and what he has done for us-- that has to be separated from any "works"!! Only Jesus saves. Maybe some need to STOP there and really understand that.God’s initiatives are not accomplished automatically. Instead, they require the faithful response of His people. That is, with all that God has done for us—including all that He has done for us that we cannot do for ourselves—we are then called to do what we can do for ourselves, which is to obey what God commands us to do. This is how it has always been in all of sacred history, and it remains so today. For example, the depiction of God’s end-time people in Revelation 14:12 conveys the same idea: faith in what God has done for us, which leads to obedience.
Amen! That is why I try to encourage the Confused With Exactly What "God Has DONE For us At ourOur Faith has to come first.= Faith in Jesus and what he has done for us-- that has to be separated from any "works"!! Only Jesus saves. Maybe some need to STOP there and really understand that.
Amen- it seems to be being overlooked- it can't be!!Amen! That is why I try to encourage the Confused With Exactly What "God Has DONE For us At our
Moment of faith!":
