He was called by a new name, similarly it says here

According to Jesus, (and apart from him) Israel is STILL NOT blessed of God the Father:
Mat. 21
[43] Therefore say I unto you [of Israel], The kingdom of God shall be taken from you [Israel], and given to a nation [born again christians] bringing forth the fruits thereof.
1 John 2
[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

And He did.
25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
God knows. That's what matters.
Romans 11:26-27
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."
Hasn't happened yet, right? It's future, dead ahead.
