You are gaslighting me saying I can't have a view.

That's your problem. Not mine. Just leave me alone if you are gonna be so disrespectful @bdavidc.

Im not stupid. Yeah me believing Jesus Christ already came and overcame, sin, death, hades, and satan.

Ruins everything you ever built up for yourself.... and others.

People shouldnt trust you as a source of truth, they should consider the content and context and the writings concerning the people of the time.

So get lost with all the bullcrap chardes.
I’m not gaslighting you. I’m pointing you back to the teaching of Scripture when you go astray. There’s a big difference. If you keep posting biblically-inconsistent things, I’ll keep posting the truth, because others are reading and it could lead them astray.

God tells His people to “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). That’s not being disrespectful. That’s being obedient. Jesus said that “many false prophets will arise and lead many astray” (Matthew 24: 11) and I won’t stand by and let that happen.

You can call me whatever you want, but as long as you’re pushing ideas that are contrary to God’s Word, I’ll be bringing people back to what Scripture actually says. The truth isn’t mine, it’s God’s. So stick to the truth of the bible and not your made up version and we will be OK.

I've posted some of the "many" verses to balance the "few" verses.

When Jesus talked about the "narrow gate that few find", who did He think needed to hear that message?

When Jesus talked about the many who were considered outsiders sitting down at the table with Abe, Ike, and Jake in the Kingdom, who did He think needed to hear that message?

Which message do you think you (not the other guy; YOU) need to hear today? And why?

I think people need to hear that God loves them, and he is not angry with them...

So many people continue to harp on sins, and GOD HATES YOU FOR YOUR SIN....

Man Jesus took care of that, and God reconciled the world to himself...

Idk what these religious people are doing but they hemmed up in their own heads, and not going by the spirit at all....

They just think they are... when they not.

good for you dude - I say dont trust you.

dont trust me...

Look to God, and consider the content and context.

I have a great distaste in my mouth but hey its fine, you do whatever you gotta do but if you gonna be disrespectful to me and me having a view,

you need to have enough respect to leave me the hell alone, sir.

I didnt ask you to share with me nothing.

back to ignore with you.
You say “look to God,” but you don’t want His Word to correct you in your error. That is not faith, that is pride. Scripture says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

If you don’t want to be corrected by the Word, you are not looking to God, you are looking to yourself. I am not here for your approval. I am here because truth matters and false ideas keep people away from Christ. “Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16).

You can ignore me all you want, but you can’t ignore the Word of God.

What exactly is my error?
It’s remarkable how quickly critics assume the role of spiritual gatekeepers, correcting others as if that’s their divine assignment.
But I’m accountable to God—not to public opinion.
"For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and chastises every son whom He receives."Hebrews 12:6

Yes, I’ve read the Bible.
I wish people would stop assuming I haven’t.
Not only have I read it—I’ve studied it deeply.
I’ve done extensive work on the wrath of God, and yet some still feel the need to “educate” me.
This is where the narrative gets reversed.

So let me ask plainly:
Am I in error simply because you say so?
"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment."John 7:24

I believe Jesus Christ has already come,
has overcome death, hell, Satan, and sin.
If that belief makes me “wrong,”
then I’ll gladly wear that label—because it’s rooted in victory.
"It is finished."John 19:30

And if I’m wrong,
what does that say about the religious leaders who preach with borrowed convictions,
never studying for themselves,
recycling someone else’s revelation?

Houston, we have a problem.
Where did we get the idea that love equals constant correction?
"Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."1 Corinthians 13:5

I’ve suggested that God’s wrath has been satisfied—
but for those who don’t believe Christ has returned,
that suggestion is unacceptable.

That’s fine.
I’ll stand where I stand,
and let God be true, though every man a liar.
"Let God be true and every man a liar."Romans 3:4

You say, "What exactly is my error?" The error you are making is easy to point out, you want to try and write your own bible. You contort what is written to say what you want it to instead of yielding to what it actually says. God's Word doesn't need your edit, it needs your obedience. Scripture has already established truth. When you deny what is clearly written and substitute it with your own take on it, you leave God's authority. "Every word of God is pure... do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar" (Proverbs 30:5–6).

You said, “Yes, I’ve read the Bible. I wish people would stop assuming I haven’t.” But have you ever stopped to consider that this is a Christian forum, and people do notice when you’re teaching another gospel? You’re not being judged for reading; you’re being called out for distorting what’s written.

You keep using the word “correction” as if it were some kind of insult. It’s not. Scripture says that this is exactly what it should be used for. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God… for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

The fact that someone is correcting you with the Word is not arrogance. It’s obedience. Truth doesn’t give way to personal opinion.

And saying you’ve “studied deeply” doesn’t change what’s written. The truth is right there in black and white. So either you’re not studying, or you’re not comprehending. I’ve laid out for you what the Bible plainly, repeatedly says. You’re not being persecuted, you’re being confronted.

God’s wrath was not removed. It was satisfied for those in Christ, but it still abides on “whoever does not obey the Son” (John 3:36). To say otherwise is to teach another gospel.

So no. It’s not about who studied more or who sounds more spiritual. It’s about who’s lining up with the Word of God. If your belief is not in agreement with Scripture, then it is wrong, regardless of how many notebooks you’ve filled.

Whatever. I'm so happy people dislike me enough to want to assert control of the narrative through all this hoobla.

Good on ya. I'm too smart for that.

Yeah you wanna know how Gods wrath abides on them? They get found out, they go to prison, they go to jail...

I never said "God doesn't have his vengeance" But that doesn't mean God is mad at them either.

God loves them, and desires for them to turn to the Lord Jesus... So you can make that verse sound as bad as you want to.

It still doesn't mean that the wrath of God which was in the cup, which was poured out is still full today, but it is empty today concerning the promise towards Israel.

:)

I read the "Wrath of God" I see the nation of Israel getting burnt up to a fire and crisp.

I imagine it's a fire in the person who gets caught for crimes, and they go to jail. (As applicable in the same sense.)

Romans 12:
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

When you quote Jesus saying: "whoever does not have the Son, the wrath of God abides" --- He is speaking to Jewish people.

Thats all he ever went to... I'm a Gentile. And Paul went to the whole world and preached the whole Gospel narrative.

So saying that it abides on people today is not correct by any means. (AS FAR AS DESTRUCTION)

Therefore me making up my own Gospel just aint true.

@bdavidc, If you wanted to be saved from the wrath of God which was an impending destruction on Israel you needed to believe in Jesus in that day, because before the Roman army shut the gates and bombarded and set fire upon that nation, there was people of Gentile nations, and the 12 tribes all in the temple where they were getting ready for passover that year... and the wrath of God was unleased upon them.

So I mean if you dont get that Idk what to tell you, and to use Jesus words as though that is something that applies to people today, I don't believe it's true other than the showment that of which people get found out because Gods vengence and justice is made upon that party which gets founded out and they are sent jail or prison.

The Wrath of God doesn't abide anymore on the "WORLD" because the Nation of Israel and the "World" they knew was destroyed by fire because it was promised to come to them.. Don't believe me? Read Ezekiel, Jesus would been talking to his disciples all about these things.

I love the old testament in how it spoke about Jesus, and Jesus also read the old testament, and people don't know the new testament as well as they could without the old testament.

@Nancy

I think what lacks is an understanding of the bible as a whole for a lot of people. There are so many people that are angry with the world. They also hear the hatred of other people about the world and that right there also places a lot of weight on the mind and hearts of individuals who just want the world to be right. Unfortunately as my mother puts it we live in mans world. We have to get by working and dealing with all these different things of life from family, to work, to hobbies.

What is important to remember though? That God so loved the world that he gave his son. I believe that contextual reading, and content within those materials going chapter by chapter and verse by verse, is so important cause the details are there. All you need to know is there, concerning how Jesus went to the nation of ISrael, and the Acts of hte Apostles and them going on to spread the good news in the last days, and then you have the remaining books all the way to the beautiful and horrifying Revelation.

From my side of the picture I see the world as getting better. I dont even got a cell phone anymore and I think that is helpful to me personally. But aside from just that. I love to watch and be enertained by tv, I like books, I like video gaming, and I love God, and love the Lord Jesus Christ...

But see what you put in your mind, and what you allow other people to put in your mind has a great and profound effect on you, your mind, your will, your emotions you can allow those people to feed those things and I believe if we just got back to were we started off when first came to God, and understanding that he loves you, he cares about you, Jesus understand your temptations, and they are not mad at you, and they want you to supplicate faith , and prayers and communications and these things its important.

Goingn back to going through Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts - all these things are what influenced the rest of the remaining books and we are to hold fast to the author and finisher of faith Jesus, and we are to love our neighbor as ourselves, and that means praying for the president, that means praying for the police task force, that means praying for the darn people we cant even stand anymore.

Love you sister you keep going. I love all these people on the board truly, despite my weird ideas and my beliefs, its about ACTION IN ABIDING IN CHRIST JESUS UNTIL THE DAY YOU DIE.

A person mouth speaks from where their heart is? That doesnt mean you cant be upset, desire justice, or someone to be put in jail and be found out, and those things, its about your love, for God and others, which Jesus himself provides within you to perform as you allow God to work on your heart and mind.

May you walk in the power of the resurrected Lord Jesus, and may you love as God wants you to love others! Jesus loved us when we all messed up and if people dont want that its fine, Gods got a place for them at the end of life, just read Revelation 21, and 22. They will be living outside of the gates.

Dear Nancy,

You are right to be concerned. I and many others see the same things. Here in the province of Quebec, the churches are empty; just mentioning the name of Jesus makes people turn away. We are living in these end times, just as it is written: “Because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:12–13). People love darkness more than light (John 3:19), and many hearts have become hardened. Yet even now, those who belong to Christ must let their light shine before others, that they may see their good works and glorify the Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). When the Lord spoke about the narrow way, He said that only a few would find it, yet later in John’s vision (John 7:7-10)we see an uncountable multitude standing before the throne of God. Though these two seem at first to speak in opposite directions, they are in truth one message seen from two sides — the struggle now and the victory at the end.

Jesus warned, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13–14). These words were not about numbers but about the heart. The narrow gate is the path of obedience, humility, and holiness. Few choose it because it demands repentance, truth, and a faithful walk with God. The wide road is the way of ease and self-will, but it ends in ruin. Jesus’ call is clear — enter by the narrow gate, even if few walk that road.

When someone asked Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” He answered, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke 13:23–24). His words remind us that faith is not idle. It requires perseverance, not mere words or appearance. Many call Him Lord, but only those who do the will of the Father will enter the kingdom (Matthew 7:21). The path is open to all, yet only a few will truly walk in it. But in the Revelation given to John, the scene changes from the struggle of the present to the glory of the end. John says, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9–10). Here is not a contradiction but a completion. Through all the generations, the faithful few of every age — those who walked that narrow road — are gathered together, forming a number beyond counting.

In the same chapter, the 144,000 from Israel are sealed (Revelation 7:1–8), showing God’s faithfulness to His covenant people. Then comes the vast crowd from all nations, the fruit of His mercy extended to the whole world. Both belong to the same kingdom. They are the ones who “washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14). The few who endured in faith became, in the fullness of time, a multitude no one can number.

So the sayings of Jesus and the vision of John meet in perfect harmony. Jesus spoke of the present — the few who walk rightly in a dark world. John saw the end — all those faithful few gathered together in everlasting light. Each person who follows Christ is called to be part of that number by walking as a “light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). Our duty is to let that light shine, that others may see the works of God in us and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

The lesson is plain: the road to life is narrow and not many walk it, but every faithful soul who endures will stand among that great host before the throne. It is not for us to count how many will be saved, but to walk in obedience and truth now, keeping our eyes on the promise ahead. The few of each generation become the countless multitude of eternity, all clothed in white and singing, “Salvation belongs to our God and to the Lamb.”

Blessings.

Oh my, if one does not have "In God We Trust" they are going to burn in hell?

What about the moslems? Is there "god" acceptable to you?

What God are you referring to? What Name get's the attention of the true God, the true Creator?

Lots of folks claim to be following "God" so we need to establish what Name the true God goes by.

If you did.... you'd be knocking on the doors of your neighbors offering to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with them.

1 Peter 3:15
King James Bible
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"

New King James Version
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;"

American Standard Version
"but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: being ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:"

Berean Study Bible
"But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you. But respond with gentleness and respect,"

So no, I will not be "knocking" on peoples doors. Although I have shared with a few my blessed hope, but only if I got to know them enough to share Jesus. Not many really seem to want to know. But, there are some that simply just, nod and smile. There is at least one person that seems to avoid me as I walk my dog but most are sociable.
:My2c: :Agreed:

Back in the 1970's, Jerry Falwell created a term called the moral majority. He also said it was the silent majority. It is because many Christians are silent about their faith in their jobs and are afraid of losing jobs because of DEI and woke bosses, and climate change activists. However, don't be dismayed, you might find you have some "silent" ones around you. In the south, Christians are bolder and you have to have a conversation with them.

As I walk my little dog around my townhouse cul-de-sac, I notice everybody's license plates here in N.C. There are lot's of homes here and everyday, it gets more and more noticeable how very few Christians are living here in this group. The NC license plates seem to have either "First In Flight or In God We Trust. I have found only 2 out of about 200 vehicles have In God We Trust. Now, I always thought this was the bible belt so, it's disappointing.

It is continually reminding me of several scripture verses, has me wondering yet again about the few and the many :

22 "And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem. 23And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24“Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25“Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from."
Luke 13:22-25

13“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Matt. 7:13,14

Matthew 22:14 : “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Matthew 7:14"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it".

So, when His chosen people, the Jews, refused to come he invited even the dogs!

This has been swirling in my mind for a while now and, it has me believing there will most surely be very, very few who make through the gates of heaven.

God has given me a burden here and that is to concentrate on my immediate neighbors and be in continual prayer for them all. Who knows, might start seeing some In God We Trust plates showing up.

So, does anyone have anything to add as to how many a "few" really is?

Thanks for anyone's input.
In Christ,
Nancy
The Few = Matthew 7:21-Those living now( over self) doing Jesus' Father's will get to enter Gods kingdom Jesus teaches here. These learn and apply, live by 24/7-365 to the best of their abilities Jesus' Fathers will= Man does not live by bread alone but by EVERY utterance from God.= OT-NT study should never stop.
The many = many who try but fail, and the mislead who do not Live by Jesus' Fathers will.
Jesus compares (Luke 17:26) these last days to Noah's day( 99.9% mislead)- Its sad.

Matt. 7:13,14

Isaiah 26

Song of Trust in God's Provision

1In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

2Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

5For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

6The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

7The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

8Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

9With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

10Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

11LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

12LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

13O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

14They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

15Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.

16LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

17Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

18We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

19Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Love, Walter and Debbie

Atheist groups for years have been working to have any reference to God removed from state license plates.

I think when Jesus told us to pray in private, not publicly making a spectacle like the pagans, I doubt he'd think we need a vehicle registration to publicly support our beliefs or advertise them.

God is everywhere. People don't have to believe in God. But they exist because of God. We know that.

Legislation doesn't change truth .License plates don't prove faith.Rather than pray for neighbors why not chat them up and see if they hold faith already?
