John 5:28
28Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

when the resurrection happens, it consists of both the good and the bad of course, but both of these are to occur on the last day

John 6:39-40
39And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

John 6:44
44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:54
54Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 11:24
24Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.”

John 12:48
48The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.

So here we have clear cut statements of both the ones who accept Jesus and reject Jesus, are both raised on the last day, so are there 2 last days? is there a pre-mill last day where the good are raised, and a post-mill last day where the bad are raised?

Daniel says they both happen at the same time

2And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above;a and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Dan 12:2

Paul said when the mortal puts on immortality the last enemy is do be defeated, this of course must be the last day, which is the last trumpet.

24Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

54When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

if you still have 1000 years to go, and the defeat of the dragon in the lake of fire, then the end has not come yet, because you STILL HAVE ENEMIES!

Both are to rise on the last day, there cannot be 1000 year gap between the resurrection of the good and bad. you cannot have the last enemy be defeated 1000 years before the dragon is defeated, you cannot have multiple last days.

Because there are two specific resurrections listed in Rev. 20:

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The problem lies in you trying to force just one resurrection when Jesus clearly shows there are two.

I doesn't (work)...but, neither do any of the other 'isms.

The 'isms are just a worldly attempt at understanding an otherwise timeless work of God. Which occurs at the end of each person born of the flesh, "but each one in his own order."

The verse from John 5.28 speaks the resurrection of the saints, as at the coming of the Lord, (last day etc of John 6 and the other John passages) and then the resurrection of the dead as in Rev 20.11+. Two different periods of time.
Believers rise to reign with Him for 1000 years. The dead not in Christ, are seen in Rev 20.11+.
Last enemy defeated Rev 21.4.

All are resurrected on the LAST DAY, or Jesus lied and so did Martha. AS is also the judgement of the wicked.

Instead of them being liars, and Jesus did not correct her, people are the liars.

here are some last days in a list, which I wont edit

  1. John 6:39
    This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  2. John 6:40
    And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  3. John 6:44
    No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  4. John 6:54
    Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  5. John 7:37

    The Promise of the Holy Spirit

    On the last day, that great dayof the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  6. John 11:24
    Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
    In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  7. John 12:48
    He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Since the true Jesus teaches this, then what Jesus are you believing in.
Since the wicked are judged on the last day, they also must be raised on the last day to be judged.

People don't love the truth, cause it conflicts with their understanding. They prefer something else.
Fake news is a thing...and the people love that and also they loved the false prophets, As Jesus said.

Greetings "BrutalCross",
Daniel says they both happen at the same time
Dan 12: 2And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above;a and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
I consider that this is speaking about the resurrection of the faithful and some of the wicked who are responsible to judgement at the return of Christ. There is then 1000 years of the Kingdom when Christ and the faithful rule over mortal Israel and the nations. At the end of the 1000 years there is a resurrection of these mortals who lived during the 1000 years, and after this death is abolished. This view then limits the meaning of the expression "the last day" to the first coming of Jesus.

Kind regards
Trevor

Precious friend, does this 'fit in' with the Biblical Expression?:

"...beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day." (1 Peter 3:8 AV)

Kind regards

I do not consider that this in any way negates the literalness of the 1000 years mentioned in Revelation 20. It certainly does not teach that the faithful will only rule with Christ over the nations for one day. There are many Scriptures that teach that Jesus is to return to sit upon the Temple Throne of David in Jerusalem for a long period of time, ruling over converted natural Israel and with the nations in subjection and learning the ways of God. The only additional detail that is added in Revelation 20 is that this long period of time will be 1000 years.

Kind regards
Trevor

You are confused. The great white throne judgment indeed occurs at the end of the mellennial age and it brings the last judgement. After that...the end of this world and a new heaven and new earth evolves.

Armageddon is the end of the "age", as Jesus puts it, the age of Grace. It is here that Jesus returns, His second coming, and as He decends from heaven and decends to the clouds, a Trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will rise first, and we who remain will be caught up with Him in the clouds. We will be changed in a twinkling of an eye, and the world will see it.

We will reign on the earth for one thousand years, then Satan will be released from the abyse and again drawing the nations to war and to surround what the bible calls at that time, the beautiful city, where the Lords Temple/Church dwell. It is here we see the earthquake occure regarding Jerusalem and the Armies of Gog and Maggog getting attacked by God Almighty, and after the earthquake, God sends brimstone and fire and destroys what remains of them. Then we see the white throne judgement and the end of the world.

This is a breif, there is a lot more detail here. But if you read the scriptures, the details are all in there.

There is no 1000 yr rule on earth of a millennial age with the wicked and the righteous living in earthly bodies.
Do you also split the resurrection of the just and unjust as that is not scriptural. The resurrection occurs on the Last Day as does the Day of Judgement.
You also believe in 2 Judgment Days?

When does Jesus and Paul teach the Day of Judgement is, I will tell you according to scripture. Tell me if you can.

Now regarding living on the earth. When we are changed, we will have the same body that Jesus has and HE WILL BE ON THE EARTH TOO! Jesus will be ruling for 1000 years in His heavenly body, you know, the one He got at His resurecction. We too will be resurected and have that same body; the one that overcame the world and the body the world can't do anything about. This world will not be able to corrupt us no longer.

You do realize the premill doctrine teaches not all saved believers in Christ are changed to have glorified bodies. The ones saved during the "great trib" missed the rapture and after Christ returns are not glorified. They marry and have babies. That is all nonsense of course.

All believers living or dead in Christ are glorified at the return of Christ.
When Christ returns He also judges the world.

2 Timothy 4
New King James Version
Preach the Word
1 I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

As also this is stated in Acts 17. There is no 1000 year delay for the Day of Judgement

30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

And that day of Judgement is the second coming.
Resurrection of ALL the dead on the Last Day, then the judgment.

John 5

28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

Man, you are so far off the trac, no wonder you're so confused. First off, I'm not beholdin to any doctroine except the word of God as it is written - PERIOD!

Their are not two resurrections separated by 1000 years.

And this also shows all believers in Christ are changed living or dead

1 Corinthians 15

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the earth, made[i] of dust; the second Man is [j]the Lord from heaven. 48 As was the [k]man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we[l] shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

Our Final Victory

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [m]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The premill doctrine does not believe the scriptures above.
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
Premill's teach only the dead (the sleeping ones) are resurrected at Christ's second coming.
While living survivors of that 'great trib' remain in earthly flesh and blood bodies, marry and have babies.
However if they remain as earthly 'flesh and blood' then scripture says they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
If you believe something different from what scripture says, then you are being deceived by a false teacher and are spiritually dangerous to others; especially if you are teaching the same, as those who teach will be judged more strictly.
This doctrine as described here below is full of error. And this is typical premill doctrine, not something taught to only a few.
And if any are not aware of that, I am posting to show these errors.
For another example of 'confusion in doctrine' that Rev 20 1000 year reign.
Nothing in the verse even hints that such a thing is happening on this earth, that is an assumption made in ignorance or even arrogance.
The Day of the Lord is the Last Day when Christ comes again, and all believers will be changed, living or dead into glorified spiritual bodies, none will remain as earthly flesh and blood.
Then comes the Day of Judgment
And after that comes the New Earth and New Heavens in which dwells righteousness where all evil things have been destroyed.
Yet the premill's doctrine teaches evil remains in the world after Christ returns.
The entire chapter of 2 Peter 3 refutes that fake doctrine of premill, as if it was custom written just for that... oh and it is about the second coming.
.
Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of [a]us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and [b]perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
The Day of the Lord
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Be Steadfast
14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
