No we are not.

People do believe we are though... at least your honest that you think so.

I believe Peter was not wrong when he said they were in the last days when he mention Joel in Acts.

You just quoting the old testament which dealt with the jews. Not americans or any other countires.
Matthew, Ezekiel 38:8 and Ezekiel 38:16 say latter years, latter days. i.e. end times.

8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Not only Is Israel involved, but also a multitude of other countries making up the Gog/Magog coalition that will attack Israel.

One of them is Persia, i.e. modern day Iran. Iran has been in conflict with Israel the past year. So the Gog/Magog event is not far away.

Ezekiel 38:
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

I think that this is an example of how one's bias influences the reading of biblical texts.

You could made bold and red the word "Ethiopia" instead, but this would not fit your narrative (modern Ethiopia has no conflict with modern Israel).

I know all about the ends times, there are certain aspects I can't comment on but I can't deny concerning what Peter said.

Please stop quoting the words which concerned the nation of Israel... As though it deals with us today.

I don't believe Douggg.

He can whatever he wants, but I am not going to say oh yeah well hey ill change my mind on this cause you quote these parts of the old testament.

The Old Testament concerned the nation of Israel - as the main audience... So does Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, even Acts.

So please .... people consider this.

Like Ive stated before most people are gonna want to debate, and prove me wrong but they can't deny concerning --- what Peter said in Acts Chapter 2 the Last days had come upon them....

It's not a flex. It's not about winning an arguement or debate. Its about the truth.

I highlighted Persia because of Iran's conflict with Israel stands out in the news.

Ethiopia, although currently not in conflict with Israel, will be part of the Gog/Magog coalition when that attack on Israel takes place.

Peter said in Acts Chapter 2 the Last days had come upon them....
"Last days" is a term in bible that is relative to it's use in the passage.

For example,
In Genesis 49:1, Jacob used the term "last days" to refer to the nearness of the end of his life.

In Acts 2, Peter used the term last days in a general sense to describe the influence of the Holy Spirit on Christians of his day.

What Peter declared in Acts 2 does not cancel what is written in Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39. Also in Daniel 12:4, the book of Daniel has been sealed from understanding to the time of the end. The time of the end
characterized by an increase in travel and knowledge in that verse.

We are living in the time of the end.

There are 15 time of the end time frames given in the bible.

Im not stupid @Douggg.

I believe Jesus already came, and the last days are over with.

Peter quoted Joel, and he said they were in the last days.

I have no shame in being honest.

I have made no personal accusations.

The 15 time of the end time frames in the bible have not been fulfilled yet. Jesus has not returned yet. The mount of Olives in Zechariah 14:1-5 has not been split in half as proof.

Great douggg.

You will not change my mind, you are welcome to continue to believe however you want. I disagree with your assessment.

Cool job making a little sectional.

It's still all already happened for me in my looking towards Jesus and his coming quickly in Revelation.

You can't make old testament relate today, because it was never written for gentiles.

I dont care what is going on in the world today, to make you think you can try to change my mind.

Also 1948 Israel as nation doesnt mean anything.

Im not political, by any means.

Im not a Nationalist Christian either.

Here is how the time frames given in Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelation, fit. Notice that the multiple like-time frames are color coded. 2 for 42 months. 3 for time, times, half time. 2 for 7 years. 2 for 1260 years.time frames 5a.jpg

The more you post on here, the more i will just say something simple...

All you will do is promote the thread.

"People can continue to believe Jesus is coming" I don't care.]

What I do care about and am worried about is the false hope that people bring to people...

When they quote scriptures concerning the people of the letter and make it out for them today.

That is what is truly worrisome.

Considering due to all the whole rapture theories and its the end of the world today theories.

I go against the thinking of the culture of chrisitanity concerning these traditions...

Jesus still hasnt shown up. He must have shown up to that first century bride - I believe in faith.

No one continues to prove Jesus is showing up in america, or any other country either anyway... he was foretold to bring forth judgement concerning ISrael.

All he did was talk to those Jewish people.
I expect Jesus to return in this way. When did this ever happen?

Ac 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Rv 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Im sure you do shepherd.

I know many people love to quote Revelation 1:7.

I believe that was concerning the faithful seeing jesus, and those who pierced him seen the desturction of Israel before them... even having time repent and not doing so.

i dont live in israel so I cant see over here in america.

bummer.

All people do is quote scripture and say

HAZAH! This is it! But they disregard the people and the times of that day in age. Which is dismissing a lot of content and context.

Its fine, but it's not the proper way to handle things in my best estimation.

Please continue to believe Jesus is coming if that is what you need to help you in your life.
