If you take it upon yourself as to your direction a course correction from God may be coming your way , I have seen indications of this in my life .

Imagine that someone who is being trafficked is reading this thread. Imagine such a person asking, Does God really have me just where he wants me?

The victims of human trafficking have been robbed of their lives. God has the trafficked just where he wants them?

Ah, the tension between God's sovereignty and human responsibility. And the question of why God permits human evil.

In the case of your trafficked human being, it's more than a philosophical and theological conundrum. It's also the reason why a late loved one of mine was not a Christian, though he believed in a God who was sovereign over all the evil he saw in this world.
