Read carefully, all Ten are "VIRGINS" according to Jesus. All Ten are undefiled and wait the "same" bridegroom according to Jesus, But 5 are prudent and 5 are foolish. Notice that Jesus does not accuse any of them of being shameless hussies or false virgins, and does not appoint the foolishness of the 5 He calls foolish to that. All Ten Virgins hear the call. So far so good. Again now, Read Carefully, All Ten Virgins had oil in their lamps, if you've been told different, and believe it, you've been deceived, because only what the Holy Spirit says, through Jesus teaching of it...IS THE TRUTH. Get yourself back in the word and back into trusting the Holy Spirit. This is too important for you not to get it, straight from the Holy Spirit.
They all leave with their lamps. The prudent prepared extra oil they brought along in their containers with their lamps, not knowing what time the bridegroom would come. The foolish brought just their lamps with just enough oil in it to last out what they knew was "absolutely" the perfect time the bridgroom would come, and no more oil than that. Why that would be completley unnecessary.
In this very parable that Jesus describes His 2nd coming, NOT HIS SECRET coming. He brings His teaching about persevring and enduring to the end, the test of the True Believer, even unto death as a marter if need be, into the "REALITY" in which we live, by stating this "...and the bridegroom 'DELAYED'..." UH OH, what do we do with these empty containers now, we were "CERTAIN" He would come in "SECRET" before, WAY BEFORE, the Tribulation...UH OH, now what do we do???? the foolish leave for lack of perseverence and lack of endurance to the end...that is...to His second coming. It is the "FOOLISH" that tries to return from their sojourn of sorrow to find that it is "THEY" that have been left behind because even without extra oil, if they had remained completely empty, but waited, regardless the delay, the LORD would have seen that they did not greive the Holy Spirit, and had remained Faithful.
"when the Son of Man returns, (not his "secret" coming") will He find faith on the earth". Jesus
