Hates-the-Truth.jpg

One of the most surprising facts in Scripture is that some of the most vicious enemies of God are also the most religious. Jesus discovered this first hand. The Pharisees, the religious leaders of His day, were not pagans or atheists or street-corner rebels. They were men who quoted Scripture, led the worship of the people, and appeared devout. But when the Son of God stood before them, they mocked Him. Luke records that “the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things, and they ridiculed Him” ~Luke 16:14.

That one verse pierces through the mask of religious appearance. Their mockery was not simply a matter of intellectual disagreement over Jesus’ teaching. Rather, it exposed what was ruling their hearts. They loved money more than God. They valued power more than purity and reputation more than repentance. When the light of truth came into their camp, they sneered. The same spirit lives on today in those who would preach comfort rather than conviction; those who replace repentance with self-esteem; and those who use the name of God to line their own pockets.

The Bible says flatly, “Men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil” ~John 3:19. When the light of truth shines, the hypocrite flees or fights. This is why so many false teachers ridicule biblical preaching that calls for holiness. They laugh at those who take God’s Word seriously. They label obedience “legalism” and sound doctrine “division.” But their hostility only proves the truth of what Jesus said: “No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve God and money” ~Matthew 6:24.

Faith runs to the light, it does not run from it. Those who truly belong to Christ love the truth even when it stings, because they know that the Word is life. But the false teacher has to protect his system at all costs. He will twist Scripture to justify sin and deaden conviction. Just as the Pharisees “justify themselves before men, but God knows their hearts” ~Luke 16:15.

Mockery of the truth has become fashionable again. Those preachers who are willing to call sin what it is are now labeled intolerant. Churches who hold on to the authority of Scripture are accused of being “outdated.” But God is not mocked. “Whatever a man sows, that will he also reap” ~Galatians 6:7. The sneer of a false teacher may sound confident today, but it will not silence the voice of judgment tomorrow.

Religion without repentance is just a stage act. It may impress men, but it disgusts God. “That which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God” ~Luke 16:15. The showy prayers, the polished speeches, the claims of enlightenment, all of it means nothing if the heart refuses to bow to Christ.

The gospel pierces the heart. It calls every person, religious or not, to confess their sin and trust in the only One who saves. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by Me” ~John 14:6. Any message that denies or dilutes that truth mocks God Himself.

So when religion scoffs at God today, when the pulpits grow soft and the world applauds, remember this: the same sneer that turned on Jesus will turn on anyone else who is willing to stand for His Word. But just as He conquered every mocker at the cross, His truth will stand long after the laughter has died away. “The Word of the Lord endures forever” ~1 Peter 1:25.

Every false religion says man must climb his way up to God. The true gospel proclaims that God came down to us in Christ. The Lord who was mocked by men now offers mercy to all who will turn from sin and believe. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” ~John 3:16.

Turn to Him while there’s still time. The One the world mocked is the only One who can save.

OBSERVATIONS ABOUT GINO JENNINGS ’ DEBATE STYLE
1. He likes to intimidate opponents.
2. He uses his church audience because he knows they will always support him.
3. He avoids answering questions that contradict or expose his errors.
4. He often interrupts and does not allow others to explain their point fully.
5. He prevents people from using the Bible to defend their argument when it challenges his teaching.
When a debate takes place in Gino Jennings’ church, it is not a true debate — it’s a controlled environment. Because he is the host, he can make and enforce his own rules, even ordering ushers to remove people if they speak against him.
WHAT MAKES A TRUE BIBLICAL DEBATE
A proper, fair debate should be organized outside of any church, in a neutral place where:
A timekeeper gives equal time for both sides to speak and explain.
No participant can change the rules or silence the other.
Both speakers are treated with respect and fairness.
BIBLICAL STANDARDS FOR DEBATE
1. The discussion must be based strictly on Scripture, as written:
> “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning.” — Romans 15:4
2. Every statement must be supported by chapter and verse, interpreted in proper context, not twisted or taken out of meaning.
ADDITIONAL PRINCIPLES FOR FAIR DEBATE
Neutral Location: No one should host a debate in their own church.
Equal Rules: Both sides must agree on the format and time.
Scriptural Proof: All teachings must be backed by the Word, not human opinion.
Judges: Neutral judges should confirm what is biblically correct.
Audience Participation: The audience may raise hands or submit questions, asking each speaker to defend their statements according to Scripture.
PURPOSE OF DEBATE
The purpose of debating the Word of God is not to win arguments, but to find truth according to the Bible. Every debate should be done in the spirit of humility, guided by 2 Timothy 2:24–25:
> “The servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient; in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves.”
Gino Jennings does not truly win debates — he uses legalistic rules, his commanding voice, and the influence of his church to overpower others and prevent open discussion. In his debates, he makes himself both the rule-maker and the regulator, which destroys fairness and openness.
A genuine debate on Scripture should not be held in a church auditorium where one person holds authority, but in a neutral, open space where all Christian denominations can take part freely and equally.
RECENT EXAMPLE OF UNFAIRNESS
Recently, a young man challenged Gino Jennings to a debate. Instead of allowing the young man to speak and explain his points from Scripture, Gino intimidated him and repeatedly cut him off. The young man was not given equal time or a fair opportunity to present his understanding of the Bible.
This kind of behavior does not reflect true debate — it shows control and fear of opposition. When one side uses their position, voice, or crowd to silence another person, that is not truth being defended; that is man-made authority being enforced.
True fairness means giving everyone the same right to speak and explain their understanding, especially when discussing the Word of God.

John 3:16 speaks of the real Jesus. Only begotten= created direct first and last. ( Prov 8:22)= The firstborn of all creation( Coll 1:15-16)-All OTHER things created THROUGH( John 1:3-Coll 1:16) the being sent to Earth named Jesus as a mortal.
I share truths taught by Jesus in every translation on Earth yet trinitarians say he did not teach them. I have been kicked out of many trinity run sights for sharing those teachings. Yes those teachings are in their bible.
They did not really know Jesus Christ.

That’s an interesting take, but it really doesn’t have anything to do with my original post. I was talking about the danger of religious hypocrisy and false teachers who mock God’s truth, not about debate styles or formats. Let’s stay on topic, Scripture exposes false religion and calls for repentance, not better debate rules.

I agree that there are many religions who have strayed away from teaching His Word with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. The pride of man continues to be the downfall of religion. They all have separate doctrines and interpretations, and they all swear they alone preach the truth.

To me it compares to the state of our society in in which all these cultures now co-habitating in any particular country, fight to keep their culture, beliefs and way of life preserved within another's culture, beliefs and way of life.
There is no middle ground where all can agree to build a foundation that unites the people. Instead, they fight with others to establish their ways above others.

I hear what you’re saying, but your response treats Scripture like one culture among many. The Bible never allows that. God’s Word is the standard by which every person will be judged. Jesus said, “The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” ~John 12:48. If someone treats Scripture lightly, they are resisting God, not culture.

You said religions have different interpretations. Scripture says the opposite. There is sound doctrine from God and false doctrine from men. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God… that the man of God may be complete” ~2 Timothy 3:16-17. The issue is not many viewpoints. The issue is whether we submit to what God already spoke.

You also said there is no middle ground. Jesus said the same, but in a different way. “He who is not with Me is against Me” ~Matthew 12:30. God gives no neutral zone between truth and error. When someone shrugs at Scripture or treats it as optional, that is a heart that is not trembling at His Word ~Isaiah 66:2.

Scripture says the real cause of division is sin. “Men loved darkness rather than light” ~John 3:19. People reject truth because they want desires over obedience, not because God’s Word is unclear.

And yes, this is a salvation issue. The Bible warns that those who “receive not the love of the truth” will perish ~2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. Jesus said the one who rejects His Word will be judged by that Word ~John 12:48. You cannot dismiss Scripture and claim to follow Christ. “My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me” ~John 10:27.

The answer is not finding cultural compromise. The answer is submitting to the truth God already gave. “Your word is truth” ~John 17:17. If someone does not take Scripture seriously, they need repentance, not dialogue. “Every word of God is pure… Do not add to His words” ~Proverbs 30:5-6.

The real question is simple: Will we bow to Scripture as God’s voice, or treat it like human opinion? Because Scripture will not bend to us. We must bend to it. This is not a minor issue. It is the difference between life and judgment.

John 10:27= a good teaching for all to follow.) It is sad, FEW on Earth actually know what Jesus teaches thus cannot listen to his voice. I share his teachings in all these sights. Those teachings are in every translation on Earth. Yet have been booted out of trinity run sights for sharing them. No trinitarian will believe Jesus over dogmas.
Here is a super important teaching from Jesus all true followers know by heart. Matthew 6:33-Keep on seeking- FIRST- the kingdom and his( YHVH)Jehovah) Father) righteousness and all these things will be added( sustenance, covering( Matt 6)--spirituality( Matt 5)

If ones heart is not instructing their minds to do that daily 24/7-365 to the best of their abilities--they are not doing this daily-John 4:22-24) thus are not listening to Jesus.
Hearing Jesus' voice= obeying everything he taught us.

The issue is whether we submit to what God already spoke.
Yet most of what God has spoken we have never heard or read. Because He didn't speak it directly to us and whatever God did speak wasn't ever written down. Take for example when God came to Adam each day and spoke to him.

And what God spoke through Jesus when He was on earth. Most of God's words were never documented.

Jhn 21:24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

Jhn 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

I think you have thrown 3 different things into 1 and used them interchangeably. 'His Word", 'Scripture' and 'My voice'.

Again, the Scriptures contains only a fraction of God's word ever spoken. His word, His expressed thoughts, every word that proceeds from the mouth of God that we are to live by are not within the pages of scripture. Far far from it.

Some have gone further and foolishly tried to convince others that all of Gods words are the scriptures. These are deceived and know not the truth.

God does speak directly to us in his written word, we learn about all of his qualities, we learn what he likes and dislikes. Many good examples and many bad examples to learn from. We learn what he requires of the mortals part to prove their love by actions, not just words. And that is obeying.

God does speak directly to us in his written word
What people have heard God say to them and then wrote down has been used by the Spirit of Truth. But to say that this is the only means He uses to lead us into ALL truth then this is false teaching.

There was a guy whose family had survived for generations on fish. (Truth). Then one day someone visited their remote island by boat and invited him to come with them to explore other islands. He said he can't because he would die of starvation as this trip would take weeks. (Part truth) When asked how he came to this conclusion he said. For generations we have lived off fish we have caught off our shores. (Truth) So in order to survive we must keep coming back to these shores to catch our food. (Untruth, lie, false teaching) The visitors then explained that while fish can be caught off his shores (truth) that there are way more eatable sealife beyond them (truth) And beyond the sea like chicken, duck, sheep ....(truth).
we learn about all of his qualities, we learn what he likes and dislikes. Many good examples and many bad examples to learn from. We learn what he requires of the mortals part to prove their love by actions, not just words. And that is obeying.
1 Cor 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Tell me, who has seen ALL of God and His qualities AND written them ALL down for others to learn and know?

I don't follow any American ministry these days.
It's great to be able to simply fix our attention on Jesus hey. With no need for anyone to teach us except for the Spirit of Truth.

Especially from the false christian teaches in their ridiculously divided religion with thousands of different denominations.

Thank God that there is only one Father, one Jesus, one Holy Spirit and one body of Jesus.

Amen.
Yes, God has spoken many words but Scripture tells us exactly what He wants us to submit to. God has never called us to obey words He did not give us. He is calling us to submit to the Word He gave and preserved.

Scripture is said to be complete and fully sufficient. “All Scripture is breathed out by God… that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” ~2 Timothy 3:16 through 17. If Scripture equips us for every good work then we are not missing any of God’s requirements for faith and obedience.

John 21: 25 simply means Jesus did far more than could be recorded. It does not mean His necessary teachings are missing. Jesus said “the Scripture cannot be broken” ~John 10: 35, and the Spirit made sure the apostles recorded what the church needed ~John 14:26.

God warns us not to add or subtract from His Word ~Deuteronomy 4:2. If we are not to add or subtract then He gave us exactly what He wanted to.

The real issue is simple. Will we submit to the Scriptures God placed in our hands? That is the Word He commands us to hear, obey and follow.

I think you have thrown 3 different things into 1 and used them interchangeably. 'His Word", 'Scripture' and 'My voice'.
You are dividing what Scripture does not divide. In the Bible, “His Word,” “Scripture,” and “My voice” refer to the same revealed truth spoken by God.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice… and they follow Me” ~John 10:27. But how can we hear His voice today? Through the written Word He left behind. Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth” ~John 17:17. The same God-breathed Word is called “Scripture” in ~2 Timothy 3:16 through 17. The Word, the voice of Christ, and the Scriptures are not three different authorities. They are one unified revelation.

Jesus said the very Word He spoke will judge us ~John 12:48. The Spirit brought those words to the apostles so they could record them faithfully ~John 14:26. What they wrote is Scripture. When you turn from Scripture, you are turning from His Word and His voice at the same time.

There is no conflict. The Bible reveals one authority. God’s voice is God’s Word, and God’s Word is found in the Scriptures.

You are wrong yet again. The Bible never says what you are claiming. God never tells us to “seek the unsaid words” or “unknown revelations”. He does tell us to live by His Word, and His Word He gives is the Word He preserved.

Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” ~Matthew 4:4. Where do we know those words? Jesus answered it Himself. He said the Scriptures are God’s Word, and they “cannot be broken” ~John 10:35. Paul said “All Scripture is God-breathed” and fully equips us for every good work ~2 Timothy 3:16 through 17. If Scripture fully equips us for every good work, then you are in error to claim we need something outside of it.

To call people “deceived” for believing what the Bible actually teaches is upside down. Scripture says to warn you not to add to God’s Word ~Proverbs 30:5-6. You are doing the very thing God forbids. You are pointing people to words God never recorded and never authorized, and then acting like those unwritten words have equal authority.

Jesus said the Word that will judge us is the Word He already spoke ~John 12: 48, and the Spirit brought those words to the apostles so they could write them down ~John 14:26. What we need, God preserved. What He did not preserve, we are not accountable for.

You are free to believe in extra “words”, but Scripture does not. And if you reject the authority of the Scriptures, you are rejecting the only Word God gave you to obey.

The ten commandments that God called the Covenant was in fact written by God with His own finger directly on two tables of stone and placed in the Ark of the Covenant. This is certain it Shows the great importance of the covenant, the Ten commandments. I believe also the words of Jesus that really lead to Life were written for us and are in Matthew, John, Luke and Mark. We can trust these words completely. Now let us not forget the promise Jesus made that he would send us the Holy Spirit to teach us the believers all things and that we would understand scripture. Yes we are missing many things, But the essential teachings that leads to life remain.

Blessings.
