What would you do if FedEx or Amazon delivered your package to neighbor's porch and they opened it without realizing it was theirs ....and then they returned it to you?

Or, the opposite .. have you ever unintentionally opened a package that wasn't yours bc it was delivered to your door?

Has this ever happened to you before?
How was it handled between you and your neighbor?

Say, thank you.
Good answer ....thank you. That's what I would've done as well, and have done when my packages were delivered to my neighbor's porch. I'm trying to get a grasp on what normal people would do.

I'm scratching my head bc this is my situation with my neighbors ...a married couple who say they are Christians. I've sat on their porch, or in their yard, and in their home so many times over the last 4 years just visiting. But things changed after they got j*bbed, and then became obsessed with Tr*mp ...and found out I am not obsessed with him. They began openly celebrating h*lloween ...the most evil decorations, skeletons drinking wine glasses of blood, witches, caldrons, "ghosts."

They didn't do that before 2 years ago. It has progressively gotten worse. They're in their late 60's/70's. I've been threatened about my right-of-way driveway that cuts about 20 deet through the edge of their yard. (They moved here after us and bought that property knowing we had a legal right-of-way.) They have security cameras pointed in the direction of my home which I am not comfortable with. (I am monitored all the time without their help.) The city keeps leaving my trash can in their yard rather than in my yard every week when they pick up trash ....and I get griped at for it.

It is very obvious gaslighting. Their packages got delivered to my house twice in less than a week, and now for the first time, a piece of their mail was put into mailbox. That has never happened before. So now, not only Amazon, UPS, and FedEx are getting addressed mixed up ...now the local mail lady who has delivered our mail for years is putting their mail in my box?? I'm not buying it. This is obvious gaslighting. I have been threatened with legal action for committing a "federal offense" bc I accidentally opened their package. (I was receiving notifications that my own packages were soon to be delivered and assumed it was mine...till I opened it and it was Christmas decorations, which I do not use.)

Here's the thing... I don't believe this is honest mistakes with deliveries being switched up. (My packages gets delivered to them on occasion as well.) Wanna know why I don't buy it? I sell things (chicken hatching eggs) on Craigslist, and when someone needs to come to my house to pick them up, they make it to my house without any trouble with just my address. They don't show up at my neighbor's house by accident.

Anyway, I think @doctrox would have some good insight on this as well.

Also tagging @Lambano. He always has good input.

Been there done that = just bring the package to the correct address/owner

People have done it for us - but the package was not opened

Was anything missing or damaged???

Absolutely not. lol
I wouldn't have opened it if I knew it was theirs. I saw a label with Chinese writing on it and was puzzled. But since my husband (out of state) had been telling me to watch for a package, I assumed it was his package... being the package was delivered to my porch. But as soon as I opened it, I knew it wasn't mine bc it was Christmas garland type stuff the internal package (clear plastic) wasn't touched. I made one cut on the external tape to open the top of the box.

But again ...my packages have been delivered to them and I never made a big deal about it, even if one of them was opened. It's just an honest mistake.

Is your neighbor upset with you?

Is your neighbor upset with you?
Yes ...as I explained in a previous post. We used to sit and visit for hours as friends. This is not normal, imo. They're being extremely irrational.

Just awhile ago, I was in my yard tending animals and I heard the wife/neighbor yelling inside her house so loud, I could hear it .... obviously upset because they received their mail that was delivered to MY mailbox yesterday ....and I wrote "Wrong box" on the envelope and put it back into the mailbox unopened for the mail lady to correct this morning. Somehow, that angered her. I wasn't about to walk over and hand her the piece of mail yesterday after all the hostility. Instead, I chose to point out to the mail lady their mistake....IF it was their mistake. In four+ years, this mixup with mail has never happened. UPS, FedEx, Amazon ... yes, on occasion. But never with the mail. And now this has happened 3 times in a week.

This has to have a spiritual root.

Tagging @BlueNightingale ...I think for some reason she may be able to relate on some levels.

We occasionally get letters and packages intended for one of our neighbors. I think I can only remember mistakenly opening one once. When I realized it wasn't for me, I just taped it up and brought it to my neighbor with an apology; no big deal. Now, a friend of mine in Indiana tells the story of mistakenly opening a mis-delivered package and discovering it was some kind of a sex toy. Taking it to the correct address was a bit awkward. I think I would've just left that one on the porch or in the mailbox.

I think you should just tell your mail lady she is misdelivering the mail between you and the neighbor.

I did where it related to mail. But packages aren't delivered by the mail lady. They're delivered by various carriers like FedEx, Amazon, etc. I told one FedEx driver about the consistent mix-ups and he said he'd talk with his supervisor.

Again, we are being gamed for our goodwill. It's particularly nasty that social media sites would collect not only the usual and ubiquitous hard data, but also the emotion-related data that comprises our very social being. The goal with the "package" theater is to get you to question/doubt your own sanity. It's similar to when a cop pulls you over and then asks you the presumptive question: "You know why I pulled you over, don't you???" - presuming guilt and putting you on the back foot before you've even spoken a word. The word of God is clear that it is a sin to deal presumptuously with others:

Numbers 15:30, "But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people."

Deuteronomy 17:13, "And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously."

Psalms 19:13, "Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression."

I'm scratching my head bc this is my situation with my neighbors ...a married couple who say they are Christians. I've sat on their porch, or in their yard, and in their home so many times over the last 4 years just visiting. So your neighbors have even more open doors that will soon enough be further exploited by satan's henchmen. I expect 100% that kind of behavior from unbelievers; they are like cities without walls, and they will become co-opted - it's only a matter of time. If you are spending leisure time with them, then it is incumbent on you to make sure they are indeed believers. What fellowship hath light with darkness? Otherwise, Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners; cast not your pearls before swine lest they turn and rend you.

The city keeps leaving my trash can in their yard rather than in my yard every week when they pick up trash ....and I get griped at for it.
Yeah, I have a client with the same scenario here. "Security" cameras pointed at her bedroom, litter continually left in her front yard, clandestine intrusions onto her property from the backyard, mucking with her letter box, smell and stains of urine on the street-facing walls of her house, false complaints filed by her neighbor... and a big clue: the perp's/"neighbors" moved in at some point AFTER her.

(I was receiving notifications that my own packages were soon to be delivered and assumed it was mine...till I opened it and it was Christmas decorations, which I do not use.)
A package is sometimes mucked with way back at the point of origin - long before it even gets to your neighborhood. [Amazon and Google have their own militarized force - their own goon squads. Makes sense, since they are major collection hubs of our data.] The gaslighting legal threats are a mainstay because they are so devastating to one's sense of fair play and hope. It doesn't matter if you're innocent or guilty - the mere accusation serves the purpose and leaves you frustrated and flapping your gums in denial. If you can resist the normal urge to react, then you deprive A.I. of the data it is after to further box you in. It has been evident with others who are T.I.'s that the attacks subside somewhat when the perp's are unable to further provoke you.

BTW, the "local mail lady" is one of the most informed people in her area of operation. She has unequaled access. She's aware of everyone's business. As per the contract she signed, she is an "agent in the field". She is obligated to report anything "suspicious" she might hear or see through your windows or anywhere on your property: a young person drinking alcohol or smoking; a parent "disciplining" her child; rolling papers and "tobacco" on the coffee table; "arguing" between spouses; a pet being treated "roughly"; a "suspect" odor; etc. Just another variation of your euphemistic "Nazi Snitch Neighborhood Watch Program."

As long as you have a smart device on or around you, you are feeding data to your SIM (your simulation). Everywhere you go, everything you say around your device, everything you do on your device is slowly creating a mirror copy of you acting sentient in a simulated Earth. All the data being generated by the crap you are going through is being used to create a cognitive model of you in the "metaverse." Once your digital twin has been fed enough data/info, then the feed will be reversed i.e. your digital twin will then be used to control you aka hive mind, Borg, singularity, et al.

With the entire Internet and thousands of databases for a brain, your SIM will be able to respond almost instantaneously to complex questions posed by intelligence analysts. As more and more data is collected through phone calls, credit card receipts, social networks like Facebook and MySpace, GPS tracks, cell phone geo-location, Internet searches, Amazon book purchases, even E-Z Pass toll records, it is possible to know not just where people are and what they are doing, but what and how they think.

I came across a 2015 article on cointelegraph, "US Govt Develops a Matrix-Like World Simulating the Virtual You", detailing a 2006 Purdue University paper titled, "Sentient World Simulation".

It proposes building a "continuously running, continually updated mirror model of the real world that can be used to predict and evaluate future events and courses of action."

Turns out, it's real and it is called the Synthetic Environment for Analysis and Simulations (SEAS). It is openly under the control of Homeland Security and the US Defense Dept. while possibly being connected to DARPA.

It is now capable of running real-time simulations for up to 62 nations, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and China. The simulations gobble up breaking news, census data, economic indicators, and climactic events in the real world, along with proprietary information such as military intelligence and the intentional dramas with you and your neighbors.

Yeah, it's life in a dirty fishbowl. Meanwhile, you know that you know that you know.

Just awhile ago, I was in my yard tending animals and I heard the wife/neighbor yelling inside her house so loud, I could hear it THEATER.... obviously upset because they received their mail that was delivered to MY mailbox yesterday ....and I wrote "Wrong box" on the envelope and put it back into the mailbox unopened for the mail lady to correct this morning. Somehow, that angered her. I wasn't about to walk over and hand her the piece of mail yesterday after all the hostility AGREE . The man of the house is more so a believer than his wife. He would talk about the Lord, and homesteading, etc ...and I've never known her to talk about the Lord. My first trouble from her was when her husband got chickens and I tried to encourage her to see it as a good thing considering the times we're in. She has shown hatred ever since then, and he tried to make excuses ...."Pray for her. When her blood sugar acts up, she's hard to live with." So ...it was her blood sugar, not a spiritual issue. My visits with them ended almost a year ago. I tried not yo go over there unless I had spare time bc they'd want to visit for 2 hours.

Anyway ....I don't easily trust people and I kept talking points on scripture and raising animals. But I gathered enough bits of background to be fairly sure they were sent here by the cult. They are from the same area where I and my relatives are from ....7 hours away. They have a daughter with the same name as one of our daughters, with a dog having the same name ....a son with high functioning Asperger's ...as do I. The similarities are astonishing ...but these things are common with the cult.

I have kept them at arm's length for the last couple of years but civil. (Could say more here....)

Their security cameras that are hooked to the internet are facing our home ....because our houses face each other. But, I'm not comfortable with that because the harassments I get from cult while I'm on the road ...they know when I leave and when I get home.

Their open doors are there bc they're cult ...I 100% believe that. And then they got jabbed, and they have fallen for the Tr.mp mess. They are 100% under that spirit.

Yeah, the jab is both physically and spiritually significant, granting the enemy access on both levels. Trump's purpose for the perp's has been served; we're about to be told that he has been killed / is dead. I'm sure gonna miss him...

Something like this happened to me like this before. The only difference is that the neighbors had moved away a couple of days before the package had showed up and I didn’t know their address.

I called Amazon and they told me to keep the items for myself.

Sorry I'm late.

This happened to me with a neighbor and she yelled at ME for it. So I went directly to USPS. It didn't happen again.

You aren't a mail carrier and aren't obligated to do their job. But if you go through them and they do nothing, then you can use Amazon's chat support for when you're getting their packages. The carrier should pick them up directly and take them to the right place- and they are under contract to do so. So Amazon would likely set it straight, if that is the majority of what you're getting.

The guy actually delivering the mail isn't going to tell his boss on himself that he is messing up.

Another time that this happened and it was regular mail, we just put it in our neighbors mailbox but we called for permission first.

And if the neighbor is having a fit for getting her mail, that is on her. Let her have a fit.

This is my "I work in customer service" response. Some people like listening to themselves, so let them have at it.
