It seems there are no Catholics left on this forum, and I can understand why—your blatant, brazen lies about Catholicism are relentless.Never even heard of this Hislop you are talking about. As I have said numerous times we should have nothing to do with either Catholicism or Talmudic Judaism. Mixture is not of God, it is of the devil, plain and simple. Jesus said we cannot serve two masters. Paul wrote that we cannot eat both the table of the Lord and the table of idols'/demons. Elijah called for the apostate Israelites to be either hot or cold essentially........to stop trying to serve both the Lord God and the god of this world at the same time, but choose either one or the other. God hates mixture more than an honest state of lostness.....that is all through the bible. He rebuked the Israelites for not discerning and separating the holy and the profane/common. Mixture (spiritual adultery) is what Babylon is all about. I'm only writing this for the sake of others reading....not at all expecting you to understand, in fact I expect you to MISunderstand just like the religious of Jesus' day MISunderstood and falsely accused Him. Your man-made religion is bereft of the Holy Spirit and that is why you remain unenlightened. The performance of rituals and membership in a church cannot save anyone.....salvation is a very real work of the Holy Spirit, not of man.
However, if I see an individual Jewish or Catholic person in need I would try to help them if I could and have done so. Not for me to judge and condemn individuals of either group.....I once was lost and unenlightened too, until the Lord got hold of me in a miraculous way, and I'm so grateful that He did. He's alive you know, and that is why after being reconciled and rejoined to Him through the Spirit of Christ, I and countless other true believers have a living two-way relationship with Him. Jesus said ye MUST be born again, and that His sheep know His voice. Your religion causes you to deny, disregard and disobey so many scriptures I'm afraid. It's like your religion and church is your god instead of the Living God. You heed and believe and obey "it" instead of Him.
@amigo de christoThats right dear sister , we sheep do our own homework , in the scriptures and dont rely upon people or other scholars who write
books . To the trenches sister . For the love of TRUTH , of GOD and HIS HOLY CHRIST , HIS holy words
we will be hated . But no marvel they hated CHRIST JESUS they will hate his sheep . Forgive all who persecute us
But NEVER conform . To the trenches the hour is late .

I myself have never heard of this hislop . some of us simply learned the scriptures .It seems there are no Catholics left on this forum, and I can understand why—your blatant, brazen lies about Catholicism are relentless.
Not everyone can endure being constantly and shamelessly fed absurd falsehoods in their face. That’s your tactic: you stubbornly repeat lies, ignoring any defense offered.
As it happens, I’m forced to defend Catholicism here, even though I’m not Catholic.
I’m an Orthodox Christian. More precisely, I’m not defending Catholicism itself but the Holy Spirit. When you claim the Catholic Church is “not of the Holy Spirit” but of a “satanic spirit,” you blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
The Orthodox Church acknowledges dogmatic differences with Catholics but recognizes that the Catholic Church can possess the grace of the Holy Spirit. Thus, by calling the Catholic Church satanic, you blaspheme the Holy Spirit—not just from a Catholic perspective but also from an Orthodox one.
As an Orthodox Christian, I’m defending the Holy Spirit here and now. I cannot stay silent when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit; I must openly say you’re committing blasphemy.
Regarding your “inspiration” for blaspheming the Holy Spirit, you claim you’ve “never heard of this Hislop,” but your exact phrases—“spirit of Babel/Babylon,” “mixture of paganism with Christianity,” “serving Ba’al in the name of God,” “Mystery Babylon in bed with the world”—are lifted straight from Alexander Hislop’s The Two Babylons (1858), a debunked anti-Catholic fabrication.
Hislop is a standard source for anti-Catholic Protestants. Claiming you’ve never heard of him is like saying a Christian’s never heard of the Bible—it’s a lie to dodge admitting your plagiarism and weak arguments. Or worse, you’re mindlessly parroting crude lies like a transmitter, not even knowing their source. But the verbatim match of your phrases leaves no doubt—such precise coincidences aren’t random.
You do realize you accuse this sister of blaspheming the HOLY GHOST .It seems there are no Catholics left on this forum, and I can understand why—your blatant, brazen lies about Catholicism are relentless.

Tenemos mas problemas que un libro de matimaticas in la casa christendom .Not at all. The mass is an ongoing sacrifice that scriptures declare Antichrist. In place of Christ.
The Priesthood and the rituals thereof is a substitute system that denies the High Priesthood in the heavenly sanctuary and seeks to replace it. That also is Antichrist.
The confessional is a substitute for the confession of sins to God and seeking forgiveness from Him alone. For priests to presume such power is blasphemy, for the Pharisees we're correct when they addressed Jesus, "who can forgive sins but God alone?" Usurping the ministry of or High Priest in heaven is blasphemy, and Antichrist.
I could go on, but I think you get the picture.
Salvation does not come by faith and our works, "least any man should boast." However, we are judged by our works because works, along with a newly formed character and obedience to God's commandments, reveal that our faith is genuine.
Salvation does not come through the auspices and the approval of the bishops of Rome. We do not need your king's approval, not does Jesus need your king's agreement, before He takes us home when He comes. Your church's claim that the Pope has any say in man's salvation is blasphemous and Antichrist.
I hope I'm saying that clearly enough.
I've been out of the churches for longer than I have been in them, so maybe that's why I've never heard of Hislop. Never heard anyone speak of him or his theology that I can remember. As I already told you I never knew how to think of Catholicism up until a year or two ago when the Lord illuminated me to the truth of it.It seems there are no Catholics left on this forum, and I can understand why—your blatant, brazen lies about Catholicism are relentless.

He certainly has it wrong. However if that young man were on my doorstep sick, injured, hungry or being chased by thugs, I would do what I could to help him as an individual.......and try to help him to a knowledge of the Truth too. But does that mean I would link arms with or try to help the Talmudic Jewish machine...no it does not. Ditto with regard to Catholics/Orthodox..... or Muslim or Hindu or Buddhist or homosexual or trans for that matter.
Now, you’re just LYING . . .God's word and the Holy Spirit substantiate it.
As I said before – you may not know WHO Hislop is but you have definitely absorbed many of the fairy tales he invented. All of the nonsense about the pagan goddess Semiramis, Christmas and Easter having pagan origins and his other delusions have polluted the minds of hateful anti-Catholics like YOU.As I said, I know nothing of Hislop and "Two Babylons", not a clue. I do my own homework, in the scriptures, I don't rely on other people or scholars who write books to do it for me....my reliance is on the Lord and his word.
Ummm, I HAVE refuted your idiotic accusations. The fact that YOU think I haven only speaks to your incredibly closed mind. I gave you several non-Catholic scholarly sources and ALL of them that have a debunked your position – but YOU’D rather cling to the LIES . . .I mention scriptures that teach a spiritual lesson and you bring me other people's books. I can only conclude you're unable to refute what I said and defend your position with scripture.
WHO said anything about our OWN works or trying to establish our OWN righteousness??Ah, but that is talking about works that proceed from the (genuine) faith that saves us. Which is not of our own, but is of the Holy Spirit. "Faith wrought with his works". It is not talking about our own works in trying to establish our own righteousness apart from faith like the Jews under the Law, but the works that come from submitting to the righteousness of God in Christ.....as the scripture says.
WRONG.Not at all. The mass is an ongoing sacrifice that scriptures declare Antichrist. In place of Christ.
WRONG.The Priesthood and the rituals thereof is a substitute system that denies the High Priesthood in the heavenly sanctuary and seeks to replace it. That also is Antichrist.

Correct. It’s not faith AND works. Works are an essential element of what “Faith” is.Salvation does not come by faith and our works, "least any man should boast." However, we are judged by our works because works, along with a newly formed character and obedience to God's commandments, reveal that our faith is genuine.
Salvation comes from GOD by the finished work of Christ.Salvation does not come through the auspices and the approval of the bishops of Rome. We do not need your king's approval, not does Jesus need your king's agreement, before He takes us home when He comes. Your church's claim that the Pope has any say in man's salvation is blasphemous and Antichrist.

That’s a tough sell when your exact words mirror his infamous The Two Babylons (1858) so closely it’s impossible to chalk up to coincidence. Let’s break it down to see why your denial doesn’t hold water.I've been out of the churches for longer than I have been in them, so maybe that's why I've never heard of Hislop. Never heard anyone speak of him or his theology that I can remember. As I already told you I never knew how to think of Catholicism up until a year or two ago when the Lord illuminated me to the truth of it.
Again, I just believe what the Lord showed me, so you are accusing Him of blaspheming Himself....and it is entirely in line with the teachings of God's word.
You are not defending the Holy Spirit, who you have no living relationship with.....you are only defending your idol, which is your CHURCH. The RCC and Orthodox are twin sisters. Their ilk is spoken against in a few places in the epistles. Paul tried hard to keep the fledgling church in the truth and simplicity of Christ. But you have no light to see it by, sadly.
Your accusations recycle tired anti-Catholic tropes, misrepresenting sacraments as “substitutes” when they’re rooted in biblical mandates and Tradition. No one with a basic grasp of Catholic teaching—or even a cursory reading of the Catechism—could sincerely buy your simplistic lies. Not at all. The mass is an ongoing sacrifice that scriptures declare Antichrist. In place of Christ.
The Priesthood and the rituals thereof is a substitute system that denies the High Priesthood in the heavenly sanctuary and seeks to replace it. That also is Antichrist.

That’s a cheap trick—reducing everything to a faceless, hypothetical humanitarian gesture.
Do you mean to say you would do differently and you want to call yourself a Christian?? And what is the stance of the Orthodox church?
You’ve made yourself abundantly clear.I myself have never heard of this hislop . some of us simply learned the scriptures .
implying one is automatically lying about knowing such a thing , not good .
false accusations is all i am seeing my friend .You’ve made yourself abundantly clear.
You constantly repeat the same tired antitheses against virtually all of Christianity.
I asked for evidence, arguments, facts—anything to back your claims. But all you do is repeat that “almost all denominations” are false.
I asked you: which denominations aren’t false, since you said “almost all”? You didn’t answer, just told me to read the Bible.
I asked: which Christian denomination forbids you from reading the Bible? Again, no answer.
Essentially, you have one antithesis against all of Christianity.
No thesis. No positive goal.
Your only aim is to make readers doubt that true Christianity exists.
Your task is to sow doubt about the very existence of Truth, under the guise of “good intentions” and “warnings,” while undermining faith in it.
@amigo de christofalse accusations is all i am seeing my friend .
PROVE TO ME that ecumenical interfaith is of GOD
and I WILL PROVE TO YOU IT IS OF ANTI CHRIST .
your move . be prepared to see floods of scrips proving IT TO BE OF ANTI CHRIST .
go now hurry , run to screens and prepared sheets of men FOR TO DEFEND your beloved movement .
EASY to expose this lie of satan and anti christ it is for a sheep in the bible .
This church age wants to defend this false love lie of satan
BRING all the bible you know to do so
and i shall bring the same to expose satans work of this ecumencial HARLOT led lie .

Catholicism with its priests, special robes, incense, altars, formal hand washing, candles, tinkling of bells, and rites.....are all the outward forms of the old covenant and its priesthood.....which were only outward forms and representations of heavenly spiritual realities which were to come with the new covenant. Which new covenant is to serve in the new way of the Spirit and simplicity of Christ. Jesus the high priest and captain of our faith who set the example for us, along with His disciples/apostles, did not don special robes and conduct formal services modeled on old covenant practices........He SIMPLY went around doing good and preaching the gospel of faith in Him.Now, you’re just LYING . . .
Neither the Holy Spirit or the Word of God “substantiate” any of the abominable lies you’ve hatched. I OPENLY-challenge you to provide proof for ANY of this nonsense.
I’ve already presented PLENTY of proof to the contrary . . .
As I said before – you may not know WHO Hislop is but you have definitely absorbed many of the fairy tales he invented. All of the nonsense about the pagan goddess Semiramis, Christmas and Easter having pagan origins and his other delusions have polluted the minds of hateful anti-Catholics like YOU.
You-pretend the God “revealed” this to you – but God doesn’t reveal LIES disguised as the truth. Shame on YOU and everyone who just accepts these ridiculous, unsubstantiated whoppers
Ummm, I HAVE refuted your idiotic accusations. The fact that YOU think I haven only speaks to your incredibly closed mind. I gave you several non-Catholic scholarly sources and ALL of them that have a debunked your position – but YOU’D rather cling to the LIES . . .
WHO said anything about our OWN works or trying to establish our OWN righteousness??
The works that are an essential element of faith are the works that GOD prepared in advance for us to do (Eph. 2:10). You cannot have true faith without those works (James 2:14-24).
It is simply what I have received from the Lord apart from man or their books....what more can I say? Do with my testimony what you will. You just don't get or experience that the Lord speaks to His people and that His people know His voice. That’s a tough sell when your exact words mirror his infamous The Two Babylons (1858) so closely it’s impossible to chalk up to coincidence. Let’s break it down to see why your denial doesn’t hold water.
Your phrases—“spirit of Babel/Babylon” ruling the Catholic Church, “mixture of paganism with Christianity,” “serving Ba’al in the name of God,” and “Mystery Babylon in bed with the world”—aren’t some unique divine revelation. They’re lifted straight from Alexander Hislop’s anti-Catholic book, a 19th-century screed that’s been debunked for over a century.
Here’s the evidence:
1. You said the Catholic Church is ruled by a “spirit of Babel/Babylon,” not the Holy Spirit. Hislop writes: “The Papacy… is but the old Chaldean Paganism in a Christian dress… the continuation of the pagan religion of ancient Babylon” (The Two Babylons, p. 2). Your claim that the Catholic Church is driven by a Babylonian spirit is a direct echo of Hislop’s central thesis that Catholicism is just rebranded Babylonian paganism.
2. You called Catholicism a “mixture” of the holy and profane, a work of the devil. Hislop’s exact words: “Popery is baptized Paganism… a mixture of paganism with Christianity, a man-made concoction” (p. 10). He argues that Catholic rituals and doctrines are pagan corruptions, which you parrot by accusing the Church of “mixing the holy with the profane.”
3. You said Catholics try to “serve God and Ba’al at the same time, or worse, serve Ba’al in the name of God.” Hislop claims: “The Catholic system is a revival of the ancient Babylonian mystery religion, serving Baal under Christian names” (p. 240). The Ba’al imagery, tied to Catholic “apostasy,” is a hallmark of Hislop’s argument, not a random biblical insight.
4. You described Catholicism as “Mystery Babylon in bed with the world and the spirit of it.” Hislop writes: “The Roman Church is Mystery Babylon the Great… uniting with the world’s spirit in a system of apostasy” (p. 6). Your phrase is a near-verbatim match, recycling his idea that the Catholic Church is the biblical “Mystery Babylon”
Coincidences this exact don’t happen. If you didn’t read Hislop directly, you’re repeating his ideas secondhand through Protestant circles that lean on his discredited work. Either way, denying knowledge of Hislop while using his exact terminology strains credulity.
It’s not divine insight—it’s plagiarism or parroting, dressed up as revelation.
