"Dispensationalism seems to allow for 2 plans....
Plan A failed....so now God must put into effect Plan B."
The above is what was said to me when we were discussing dispensationalism. Implied is that God's plan A to save Israel failed, which caught him off-guard, and necessitated scrambling to come up with plan B. Plan B was to save Gentiles instead.
Dispensationalism, that I know of, never proposed this. This idea is to be refuted no matter who would teach it.
[ACTS 2:23 KJV] 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:...........God has complete foreknowledge, and his purposes will always be fulfilled while allowing free will and justly holding mankind accountable for their actions.
[ROMANS 11:11-12 KJV] 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but [rather] through their fall salvation [is come] unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them [be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?...........God knew, and determined, Israel would fall to bring salvation to the Gentiles
[ROMANS 11:30-32 KJV] 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all......Gentiles were in unbelief as well as Israel, and thru Israel's unbelief the Gentiles obtained mercy. God's wisdom provided remedy for the unbelief of both Gentiles and Israel, and extend his mercy to all..........[ROMANS 11:33 KJV] 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Israel will be saved.........[ROMANS 11:26 KJV] 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
